The last two times we've been here it was awful. Staff couldn't get the order right after two times. This most recent experience was an online order pickup. Even my laid back relatives were shocked at the quality. The sandwich we ordered was barely put together. Had hardly any meats/cheese. 1/2 strip of bacon. Calling it a sandwich is an insult to sandwiches. The tortellini bowl for my son seemed like it was missing a serving. 9 dollar pasta could do better, at least give me my full portion! My salad from my pick two had no dressing, on it or on the side. Yum... We ordered a kids milk, didn't get it either. We placed the order for 5:30 pick up, my in-laws had to wait to pick it up until 5:40, on fine. But it was still cold! How does that happen? All of our meal was nearly 45 dollars. We should have gone to a restaurant for that, and next time we will. This place needs some serious work. Huge thumbs down, major disappointment. Received an email saying delivery is free and clicked on the promotion and started my order. It was about 10:10am. I work swing shift, so I intended to order a breakfast sandwich and was relieved to see that I could order up to 10:30am. They constantly are updating their menu so customers have always a variety of items to choose from and not get bored with the same thing. The staff is always helpful and ready to help. Food is generally ok and on-point. The reason they are not earning the extra star is due to the fact that the carpet is dirty and stained. I've visited this location so many times and before the carpets were clean. The other reason is that the girl calling up for the dishes really screams the names of the customers in desperation. No need for yelling that out loud or the high pitch tone. Customers are hungry and standing by anyways to get their orders as soon as ready. read more

This place has hit a new low. It's now a filth-ridden dump where the staff just don't seem to care. The table was dirty, the silverware was dirty, the bread looked like it had a bite taken out of it, there was liquid all over the drink station (like a pool of drink), the area where they prepare the food looked like a bomb had gone off, the person that took my order was totally out of it and was a trainer. On top of all that the prices have gone up! The real shame is that at one time it was nice, clean, and the food was decent. It was a good neighborhood spot. It looks like corporate needs to come visit this store and do some customer service training. I put in an order last night for this morning. Good thing we got here early because the staff looked around at each other looking where to place blame when the realized they haven't started our order. As I asked questions the staff as a whole wouldn't respond, give answers or set expectations. Ok fine I'll grab an iced coffee for my lady and I. I was handed a cup with no instruction. Apparently customers do their own iced coffee. The lady behind the counter says "it's over there somewhere". The iced coffee is on the opposite side as the creamer, then I had to walk all the way back to the other side of the store for the lid and straw. 20 minutes and I still don't have my lady's drink. Absolutely ridiculous experience. I went in to get two loaves of bread, no problems with the cashier. I decided to add on a soufflé and someone who I'm assuming was a manager came up and was SO rude to him. She says he needs to speed it up and there's a long line. There was literally two people behind me and if it's so busy, YOU hop on register. I've worked in food service for years and it makes me so angry seeing workers being mistreated. If zero was an option, that would be my preference. Placed an order for pick up at 10:41 am, was told my order would be ready at 11:41 am. It is now 12:00 pm, and they said it will be 15-20 minutes more. While their food is decent, it shouldn't take 1 1/2 hours to make 8 sandwiches and a bowl of Mac & cheese. Found new store on Quebec,fantastic, never missed a beat. Recent: I ordered x2 of each bread at Iliff location, online this time & pd ahead of time. Ordered 3 days out. Get there,no bread, they told me to order more days ahead next time...they waited for me to drive there, no email cancelling order. Panera never fails to have great service and food! I come in during rush hour usually, and the service is surprisingly fast. I usually have to wait like 2-5 minutes for my food. The Mac and Cheese is my favorite ever! It's so creamy and the noodles are actually pretty big. Also the turkey sandwich is so good with the onions, mustard, and the bread is Whole grain with oats, and it's just so good! The only downside about Panera is sometimes it could be pricey. I only use Panera when absolutely necessary, to give my caregiver break. Panera Bread is crazy expensive and greedy. They will not offer senior discounts and reject most coupon codes, their food is very hit or miss and varies by location it can be really bad. The rewards program is a joke, they want you to spend about $500.00 before the give you a free drink or cookie. But the 1-855-372-6372 number I spoke with Andrea she was fabulous. She was polite, patient, knowledgeable and took time to actually call the store to check on my order and confirm for me. Andrea made a potentially bad experience pleasant for me. Support local small business and not this place. I should have done the same. I walk in 20 min before they closed and you would have thought it was 20 seconds before they closed with how the staff acted. The most visible displeasure with me came from whom I assume is the manager. He was very visibly frustrated at my presence. Trust me I get it, if someone walks in literally last minute that can be annoying but the store wasn't closing for another 20 minutes and that was with reduced hours based on the pandemic so technically this staff was getting off an hour earlier than what they typically would. Was starving for dinner. My husband and I just went in for soup and 1/2 sandwiches. The two kids making the food we're just goofing around barely paying attention to the food they were"preparing". This place SUCKED. My good was freezing cold when they handed it to me so they made ME microwave it. TWICE. How about warming the food up all the way instead of making customers microwave it? After that, my food spilled in the microwave. But there were no napkins in sight to clean it up. Then, the lid they gave me for my to go bowl was the wrong size. If you come here for lunch on a weekday and expect a big line because this is where all the UCH and AMC campus folks come to eat! You can order online and then come into the store to pickup (within 10 minutes they claim). I got a "whole" roasted turkey and caramelized kale panini sandwich for almost $10. You have the option of getting a 1/2 sandwich and then getting a small side of soup or salad. I opted on getting the full sized sandwich because I thought it'd make me fuller. The sandwich was really small (2 slices-each slide about the size of an iPhone 6s). It was underwhelming. I also had an acai unsweetened berry tea that was alright. This is my lunch Panera. Also, I will pop in for a coffee and pastry in the morning sometimes. Lately I have been avoiding Panera for lunch. It seems a bit expensive for the quality you get. Nothing seems that great off the menu, pretty average items. I often feel hungry a few hours after I eat. I do like the Med Veggie sandwich, and the Med salad is pretty good too. The veggies seem fresh and the bread is always very soft. The soups are ok, and others salads are as well. I do love the Green Tea, but you can't get refills. It doesn't taste like green tea, more like apple juice, but it's very refreshing. Panera is one of those places where you think you are eating healthy, but check out the nutrition menu first. My favorite salad used to be the fuji apple until I saw the calories and fat in it. I was appalled. Very deceiving. read more

Stopped in for lunch. There was virtually no waiting time at the register. We placed our order very quickly. There are a lot of low calorie options here. It's a great place to eat healthy as well as delicious food. The dining room has great seating areas. Good for a group or solo meal. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. Unfortunately, we found a hair in one of the sandwiches. Luckily it was a teenage boy eating it so he just threw it aside. Regardless, it's worth noting! Haven't been to Panera in a while and my visit yesterday was a reminder why. There was only one person in front of me and my friend, yet we stood there a good 10 minutes with no one even looking at us. While we waited, more people came in and that finally seemed to catch their attention. This kid called us up and I soon noticed that he's not very familiar with the whole ordering process. It took forever for him to figure out where to find what I told him I'd like, which was the Pick Two option containing of the Mediterranean Chicken Salad and Mac and Cheese. My friend also got the Mac and Cheese. That night I threw up more than I ever have before. I'm talking like out of my nose kind of thing. It was bad. Ordered my food and paid for the order. The card machine confirmed that I paid and the transaction was approved by the bank. Their order computer had a glitch and the order did not come up on their prep board. They told me I had to pay again as the transaction did not go through. I pointed to the card machine that showed clearly the transaction had been processed and approved by the bank. They argued with me and informed me that if I wanted my food I would have to pay again. This morning I check my bank and sure enough I was charged twice. I called the manager and she refused to take any responsibility, refused to help me and told me it was my problem that the bank made an error. I informed her that the bank did not make an error as her machine confirmed I had already paid once and I should not have to pay again. She did not care and demanded I take care of the problem on my own. When the manager of the store does not care one whit about customer service or take any responsibility for their obvious errors, it's not a business I will go to anymore. read more

I do not recommend this Panera location. I travel for a living and never have I walked into such a mess. There was one person cashiering but this same person was also getting specialty coffees and pastries for customers. Caused a huge line out the front door. Two people making sandwiches and orders in the back and one person just walking around. For being in the middle of a health pandemic no one was clearing or wiping off tables, the coffee station was disgusting, stuff spilled everywhere. ¾ coffee containers were empty, no cream or almond milk. After picking up my order I started to walk around to find a seat, there were dirty dishes everywhere. It looked like no one had picked up dishes in a couple hours. It wasn't that there wasn't seating but there were just so many dirty tables. I had to clear and clean my own table before I could sit down. I've stopped in here a few times for breakfast on my way in to work. Not bad, not bad at all! The taste, texture and construction of the the breakfast sandwiches is nicely done. However, some of the stuff I think is weak in portion size for the price. The other day I stopped in and they were giving away free samples of their power sandwich... I think that's the name. Whole grain bread, egg, ham & cheese. It was tasty! It was tasty so I ordered one and a fresh orange juice. I got a tiny cup of OJ and half of a sandwich for $6. It was a delicious breakfast, but I felt kind of ripped off. The staff here is super chipper and friendly. Very nice people. It's my mid way place between home, the airport and/or my customer. Oftentimes I find myself passing this Panera Bread outlet coming or going from the above endpoints. Like all Panera, they have fresh options for lunch, and devious ways to bust your calorie budget, all at the same time. Although Panera boasts free Wifi, it is limited during lunch-time, so don't expect to camp out during peak hours. My go to meal is some variation of the Pick-2 Sandwich, Soup & Salad options. I usually opt for Tuna, but the last time there I tried the Cuban Panini, which was hot & tasty, oozing with cheesy goodness. Downside is often untrained or disaffected service staff. read more

I did not stay to eat mainly because the customer service at this location was abysmal. We entered and asked a couple of workers to check the balance of our gift cards. The two of them were very rude, and acted as though they couldn't be bothered to help us (needless to say, there were more employees than customers in the restaurant). We asked them about their salads when they showed us that the other register is where we could find the salads; they then went back to talking to each other and doing nothing. When we walked to the other register, an employee looked at us in the eyes and proceeded to do other things and did not even acknowledge us. We waited about 3-4 minutes to stop being ignored and then walked out. A simple, "I will be with you in a moment," would have gone a long way. I would suggest hiring people who actually have some sort of customer service skills, or even just know how to have common human interactions. read more
