Disappointed. Spent $100 and my sandwiches look like they're part of the kids menu. Absolutely ridiculous. We won't be back. Do better. I'm sure the boys making these would still be hungry and they made these without care. How about u make a sandwich like you would want to eat instead of this. Joke. Do better Panera. You charge up the butt yet don't deliver. Used to be good back in the day day now no more. read more

I stopped by during my lunch break, and it was such a beautiful day not to sit outside and enjoy it. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted, and everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was not only aesthetically pleasing but absolutely delicious. I wasn't very hungry today, so I ordered one of the half sandwiches, and it was perfect--fresh, flavorful, and made with care. They truly make amazing sandwiches. Thank you for the wonderful food and outstanding service. I always appreciate the consistent quality and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back! read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Antioch, California

I was working in the area and was scouting around places to eat again. I usually avoid chain places if I can, hoping to support small businesses, but I can never say no to Panera. I ordered via the App and chose to dine in. By the time I walked over, my order was ready and I had a pleasant sitting outside. Broccoli Cheddar Soup: I got my soup in sourdough bread bowl and it was delicious. I have not had Panera for over a decade, so I was glad to give it a try again. I always picked between this soup and the tomato soup. The bread bowl held itself and the amount of soup was fair (though still pricey). I should have not gotten a baguette, since this was a lot of carbs just for one meal. Still, the soup was not too salty and tasted exactly as named. Overall, ordering was simple and quick and if I am in the area and want something on the go, this is a place I will stop by. read more

I placed an online order. I went to pick it up at the designated time. My name wasn't on the monitor anymore and my bag was not in the "pickup area". I waited around to be acknowledged and they had my bag in the back. The sandwiches were ok. With many other dining options around the area, I don't know if I'd return here. read more

When I first walked in, I wasn't greeted. There was another person in front of me ordering. There's two self service machines to place orders so I waited until one of them was free. Placed my order. The machine does take gift-card payments. Waited about 5 minutes. Found a booth, but it was kinda dirty? Not sure if anyone really cleans the tables and walls. The sandwich I ordered was really good, it was chipotle chicken with avocados. The bread wasn't as hard as I thought it would be so that was good. It was my first time trying it and I was satisfied. The chips were tasty too. read more

Panera Bread - early breakfast - Sandwiches Near Me - Antioch, California

Seemed like food was thrown together in a hurry. My half sandwich was like a small glob with soggy bread. The half sandwiches are very small like 3x3 inches big and they charge $9-11 for it. It's honestly a joke. I also ordered a Greek salad and they didn't put any salad dressing on it. I don't understand why it takes so long to make something half-assed. read more

I put in my online order about 3 hours before I was to pick it up. It was about 30 minutes late. When I got to my destination to spend Mother's Day with my daughter I discovered that one sandwich was missing. My daughter's sandwich was labeled "Bravo" but it wasn't a Bravo. It was a veggie sandwich with a ton of feta cheese on it. She couldn't even eat it. Getting a refund was not easy but I did finally get ahold of someone via phone. I will not be returning to this store. read more

What can I say about Panera? I love their food--especially the Pick 2 meals. The service is pretty good, and I've learned to order through the app. To my surprise I actually got it right! I walked to the pickup area and saw my order being prepared, and everything looked fresh and well-organized. And let me not forget to mention the oatmeal raisin cookie... it definitely didn't make it home. The place was packed, with lots of people enjoying their meals, laughing, and talking. The atmosphere was lively, and I didn't mind the short wait at all. Always a nice experience here! read more

I have been a regular at least 2,3 days a week customer of Panera Bread at Concord and Brentwood for last year. Panera was my to go place for last at least 5yrs. But last six months I have noticed that they really try to save on the fillings while the price is going up. There's no avocado or other fillings in the avocado melt and the soup is filled 1/2 way in the container. Bad move Panera. Two stars are for the flavor. read more

Ordered a egg and cheese croissant sandwich. I had one a few months ago and it looked like the picture on the website and in store. Me and my wife just dropped off our kids and thought of having a breakfast date. What I have in mind was a traditional cafe but she suggested Panera Bread and we were on our way. Panera Bread never occured to me when thinking breakfast but upon seeing their menu, their selection was pretty good. I was homing to a sausage type sandwich when I saw a Tuna sandwich and I am an absolute sucker for tuna sandwich. My wife had a Chicken Cobb sandwich and a few moments later our order was waiting for us in the counter. I must admit, it is the 'tuna'est' tuna sandwich I had ever have. It has very good flavor on top of a heap of leafies with make for a very hearty sandwich. Their brand chips was very good as well, albeit a little less than normal. Wife's chicken sandwich was good as well. Overall, I had a good breakfast at Panera Bread and felt good too afterwards. read more

Panera Bread - Tuna Sandwich - Sandwiches Near Me - Antioch, California

Ah, Panera Bread. I still remember my first visit to one of their locations years ago--it felt like stepping into something new and magical. The aroma of fresh bread, the visible hustle of the bakers in their exhibition kitchens, and a staff that seemed genuinely proud of their work. It was a place that celebrated food. Sadly, those days seem to be a distant memory. This location, in particular, has become a far cry from those early experiences. Every time I visit, it feels like the decline has deepened. They never seem to have the signature baked goods you actually want in stock, and the kitchen--once a highlight--now appears neglected. The floors are unkempt, the tables are consistently dirty, and the atmosphere feels chaotic. The blaring music doesn't help--it's more disruptive than inviting. On my most recent visit, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a latte. The sandwich was clearly microwaved--hot edges and an ice-cold core that left me wondering if they even checked it before serving. The latte was the final straw. As I sipped, I noticed pieces of food caked to the inside of the cup. Disgusting. It's one thing to cut corners on freshness or service, but basic cleanliness is non-negotiable. It pains me to see how far Panera has fallen. What was once a beacon of quality and comfort has become a place I'll never return to. We deserve better, and quite frankly, so does the Panera name. read more

It's been several years since I've sat down at a Panera and now I remember why it's been so long. The god awful 70s music they pipe into the restaurant at a high volume is unbearable. I couldn't wait to finish and get out of there. Couldn't even enjoy the food. It was tasty food using high quality ingredients, but SOOO overpriced. I mean $14+ for a cup of soon and 1/2 sandwich? Seriously, I could have went to a nice sit down restaurant with actual table service for the same price or less. read more

A good casual hangout to meet up with friends. A bit too noisy for a study place though. I like their tuna sandwich(4/5) on focaccia usually, but today I tried the Napa chicken salad sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup. My husband go the steak sandwich. It comes with kettle chips( they said they only offer one kind- wish they had bbq chips too!). Chips were crunchy and crispy so good. Steak sandwich had a hint of horseradish sauce and melted white cheese. It was a good size sandwich for the whole one- I am glad I didn't get half the sandwich with the soup otherwise it would have not been enough for the 2 pick. It was ok like a 3/5. The Napa chicken salad sandwich had red grapes and red onions and slivered almonds( note this for anyone with nut allergies!). It was about a 3/5. The broccoli cheddar soup has a bit different taste like of comforting tumeric. I liked the soup actually 4/5. So overall a 3.3. They had a long line so I thought there may be a wait, but it went by pretty fast! They were very efficient and double checked the bags. There is a screen that gives you notice if they are prepping, checking and when it is ready. I liked that up to date information! Overall, 3.5 stars. I also usually like their salads ( Asian and Fiji Apple ) and baked goods like cookies, pastries, muffins and bagels! So overall I like Panera! read more

Panera Bread - Bistro French Onion Soup & spicy chicken dip - Sandwiches Near Me - Antioch, California

Before we moved to Brentwood, my husband had a bias against Panera Bread and he would never, ever eat there. But he is a huge fan of Einstein Bros. Bagels and we learned that Panera has the same parent company - so they use the same method to make their bagels (steaming instead of boiling prior to baking, which gives a very light, fluffy texture). Coming from the East Coast, I am very picky about my bagels and I just can't stand the tight, closed texture that a lot of overworked bagels dough get when they are boiled. Steaming beforehand is basically a cheat code that helps bagels come out well on a mass scale. These bagels aren't as good as a Mom & Pop shop, but my husband has been converted and he does like eating at Panera now! The other food here is always really straightforward and tasty. There is a limited amount of healthy fast food options in Brentwood, so this is one of the better choices available to us when we want a light, quick bite. I've lost 80 lbs but I like to eat out sometimes, so Panera helps me stay within my daily calories with salads or half sandwich / soup or a smoothie. We think this place is 5-star because the location is always clean plus the customer service is good. You get what you expect to get - the same quality of food every time, quick and friendly service, and a clean, simple atmosphere. read more

I've set foot in this Panera only a handful of times, but we get catering for either breakfast or lunch at least once a week. I'm not a regular at Panera, but I've been here a handful of times in the past 5 or so years. My most recent visit was yesterday and I noticed the inside was a bit old and stale looking. The floor was a on the sticky side , and the doors/windows was marks and prints all over. the smell didn't smell like fresh bread as it used to. I haven't been to Panera in over a year but I do remember it being a lot cleaner and fresher before. I came to order a few pastries. One chocolate chip cookie , 1 kitchen sink cookie , a brownie and I also got the iced tea/lemonade. There were three people at the front desk, but only one of them was tending to customers. The other two were talking about their timesheets. There wasn't much acknowledgement besides awkward glances from the two males having a conversation about their timesheets. The lady who was helping customers was preoccupied helping another customer with her app.. which was fine, rightfully so the lady was before me so I waited .. eventually the two males at the front said " okay time to clock out" so I assumed they were killing time to clock out but didn't want to get stuck working so they just pretended no one was there to serve. I maybe waited about 10 mins to get helped. The cookies and brownie tasted fine but the drink was horrible .. it had an after taste I couldn't get rid off and very artificial! Also, I noticed all their self serve lemonade /teas were still standing in the dispenser.. I could be wrong but don't lemonades usually have that rotating thing in the dispensers to the flavors gets mixed in? I could be wrong but that could of been why the tea tasted so bad It was almost $5 too so it's pretty pricy for a drink that tasted horrible. I should have snapped a picture but it was gross so I tossed it. Won't be coming back for a while, especially not for drinks. read more
