Typical Panera, less seating options. Fast service- food was out in less than 5 minutes and cookies and drinks were delivered immediately. Soup was hot and fresh. Baguette was okay, kinda dry and old but I served as a vessel for the soup ok. Cookies were delicious and lemonade machine was full. Tables were mostly clean, good quality, however I feel like Panera prices have been going UP (my you pick two meal was 12!??!) and sizes of food have been going down. We stopped by at the rest stop right before they were closing to order a big family meal but the staff were still super welcoming and accommodating. They had run out of a couple ingredients but checked in with us for substitutions and made sure every detail was met. I really appreciate how great the service was, especially as often times employees can get annoyed when people come in right during closing, and we had placed a big order too. 3 bagels and 3 of the EXACT SAME coffee shouldn't be a difficult order. First off they only gave us 2 bagels and 2 coffees, second off the coffees didn't have the foam we ordered because "they don't carry it"(don't let us order stuff you don't carry), and finally don't get an uppity little attitude with people who are paying you money, nevermind people whose order you screwed up. When we did get the coffees one was completely different, again all 3 were supposed to be the same, the different one was bitter and the other 2 tasted like they poured a half cup of sugar in the bottom and were then they were watered down at the top. I don't recommend this place and honestly the last 4 Paneras I've been to have either messed up our order or the coffee has been bad, so frankly I'm over the chain in general. Zero stars: 1) Self-checkout kiosk doesn't work 2) Employees useless, clueless, and dirty. No gloves. No masks. Yes breakfast is always good.. we'll just about everything. I opted for steel cut oatmeal today. It very cold out.. 28! And was a long walk from the truck area. Coffee was hot but bold was only half cup left so I filled it with lite to get coffee in me. Also ordered an everything bagel with chive cc. Bf had the green goddess cob salad. It comes with bread. Now this order was for here and when they called r name it was in a bag! We questioned that practice but they always put it in a bag she said. It seems like such a waste of paper products!! Food quality is really poor, rusty lettuce in a small Caesar salad that cost $5.00. Watery Mac and cheese with a few sprigs of broccoli - again a small- for six bucks. Not only did they not have croutons, but a bus of people entered behind me and they served some of them before me, and on top of that, the kid did not get my order right and left out my bread bowl for my soup. They all panicked when a bunch of frat boy golfers showed up, and they all seemingly scrambled for them, asked their name on their order, and I got my meal called out like a nobody. The staff was friendly and when I ordered a flatbread pizza, they alerted me to the fact that the flatbread had sold out and let me choose anything I wanted on the price of the pizza since I had already paid. This chain has consistent options for vegetarians as well as kids and other picky eaters. As far as the bakery goes, most of that stuff tastes like junk, but the salads and soups are always fresh and lots of options for soups is a plus. The coffee is OK, but if since there is a Starbucks nearby,some of those options are better. I would say that I find that a drink, half salad and small soup for $14 is not really reasonably priced (and that is the usual even in suburbia). In this particular location, it should be coded that the Burger King line is extremely long and there is at least a half hour wait because it appears that there are only two people working. There was a dispute at the pretzel place that took some time to resolve, and they were out of turkey meatballs at the meatball place. So, your best option when you're in this plaza is to go to Panera. Spend a little more, wait a lot less. read more

Should have read the reviews before stopping! We were there at 7 am on a Saturday while traveling. We don't have a ton of time to stop but I thought a bagel and coffee couldn't take too long! Except they only have kiosk ordering.....and the kiosks were broken. Spent 15 minutes trying to order. Could not get a human to take my order or just take payment since the kiosks were broken so I left with nothing! Burger King next door at least had people that would take your order so my husband got food. I got screwed by Panera and left hungry and with no coffee! I guess that's one way to reduce strain on your staff, don't let people order food. SMH read more

I am always quite happy with Panera and this location on the Turnpike has been up to my expectations each time we have stopped. The Pick-2 combinations at Panera are among my favorite meals in general. The Fuji Apple Chicken Salad and the Tomato Soup are two of my favorite things to pair. The service here is fairly good and the seating area creates a nice atmosphere to enjoy a meal considering it is in a rest stop. If you are traveling this section of the Turnpike, this is a great option for breakfast, lunch or dinner. read more

I called this location at 6pm specifically to ask if they would be open until 9pm, as it says on Maps that they close at 9pm, and I know many restaurants these days struggle to stay open due to being short on staff. As a traveler you rely on rest stops and restaurants to be open, especially on the Ohio Turnpike! I arrived at 8pm and was told that they were closed. I was extremely disappointed. If you are heading east on I-80, stop 50 minutes west of here at the Panera in Maumee or Perrysburg instead. The only reason I didn't stop at one of those was so that I didn't have to get off the Turnpike. But now I wish I would've just gotten off there. read more

I work at a Panera, and the things I experienced today I would've gotten fired for. I didn't receive my cream cheese for my bagel, or my muffin I ordered. On top of that the coffee times were over 2 hours from the last time they were made (some pots were empty), and Sara-Beth rolled her eyes when we had asked for the rest of our bakery items. read more

I just left this establishment. I was helped by a rude and antsy cashier, given my pager and then waited 25 minutes for my food. I went up to the counter to ask about it and it was just sitting there. When asked if it was mine they said yes. Gave it to me and I asked what it took so long. They said well she gave you the wrong buzzer, gave me my COLD soup and Mac & cheese and sent me on my way.
