JUST KNOW HERE YOU ARE BEING SCRUTINIZED AND UNDER SURVEILLANCE!!! NOT WORK OR STUDY FRIENDLY!!!…read more So before I say anything I just want to say that the girls that were working there were amazing and the sweetest. My complaint is with the manager, I believe his name is Hezekiah. I stopped by the subway to wait for my family to pick me up. They are counselors who had to deal with a very important matter so I decided to sit down and wait a few hours as they were dealing with a situation. I've been to many restaurants, cafes, and places to sit and do homework and occupational work for hours at a time so to me there didn't seem like there was anything wrong with sitting around and waiting, especially if I bought food to eat. I was able to get some work done and enjoyed some conversation with the workers, when one of the employees handed me their phone and said it was their boss. LIKE WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?! This is literally the first time this has ever happened to me anywhere. In what reality is it okay for a manager to call a patron and ask why they are there? What an invasion of privacy because if I'm keeping to my self and eating the food it's honestly no one's business. On the phone he asked why I was there and insinuated that there was something wrong with me for being there. He then essentially asked if he could "get me a ride" essentially telling me to leave. I've never felt so offended and violated before. I'm not sure if it is a racial issue or what other explanation there is for that. I was there no where near closing time as well.

We ordered the club on a sub and hook and ladder salad. It didn't take long to make and we ate inside. The club on a sub was really good. It had a decent amount of meat and the cheese was nicely melted. The cold toppings were a plenty. I don't frequent Firehouse Subs often but would again for this sub. I got the combo which was paired with a drink and chips. My mom got the salad and also enjoyed her choice. It also had lots of meat which made it feel like a full meal.

You know, I remember when they were starting out in Jacksonville back in the 90s when cherry limeade and that datil pepper sauce was their thing, set them apart. Do they even have cherry limeade any more? Haven't seen the limes out in years. Part of the reason I don't do them on my own anymore is the sandwiches have shrunk up. You've really got to order extra meat or flip half of the fillings over to the other half to get a nice solid sandwich out of them. I mean, they charge the money, but you don't get the sandwich they used to do.

I am a frequent visitor of Chick Fil A, but this was my first time at this specific location. This…read moreis the worst location I have been to. I ordered a chicken sandwich and mac n cheese for pick up. When I got to the restaurant, they told me that it was going to be an extra 5-10 minutes for the Mac and cheese, which was not a problem at all. When I got my food is when the problems began. The Diet Coke was completely flat. My chicken sandwich was so thin on one side, it was mostly breading, and then the most disappointing of all was the Mac and cheese I waited extra time for was literally cold. Unfortunately, I discovered all this while already in the car driving home, but I reached out to chick fil a to leave feedback. The few times I have ever had a negative experience with chick fil a, I let them know via their online feedback, and I always hear back from the location to make it right. It's been 10 days since my negative experience, and the store never reached out. This is the most disappointing part because Chick fil a's customer service is second to none, which is one of the reasons I visit often, and this store completely missed the mark. I doubt I'll ever return to this location.

The Crepevine is a charming spot if you're craving something different for lunch. They serve…read morebreakfast, dessert, and savory crepes, and there's definitely appeal in the novelty of it all. The crepes themselves are made fresh and arrive genuinely warm, which is half the battle. I ordered the buffalo chicken crepe and appreciated the good kick it had. The fillings were competent but unremarkable, nothing that made me think "I need to come back for that specific crepe." The chicken had a tendency to slide toward the bottom as I ate, which was a bit of a nuisance especially when your first 2-3 bites are all lettuce and tomato If you're looking for something easy and quick to grab for lunch, The Crepevine delivers. It's the kind of place where the experience is enjoyable partly because of what it is rather than it being exceptional at what it does. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a good spot to pop in with friends or grab something on your way. If I'm in the area and want something a little different from the usual lunch routine, I'd happily return.

There are evenings one plans with great care, and there are evenings that simply happen to us…read more My visit to 4th Street Bar & Grill belonged to the latter category. I arrived without ceremony, took a seat at the bar, and expected little more than a drink and a quiet escape from the predictable machinery of an ordinary evening. Yet sometimes, in the most unassuming places, simplicity proves far more satisfying than spectacle. The service was remarkably quick, but never felt hurried. There is a subtle difference between efficiency and impatience, and the staff understood it well. I was acknowledged promptly, served without unnecessary delay, and left to enjoy the evening at my own pace. This may sound like a modest accomplishment, but anyone who has spent enough time waiting invisibly at a crowded bar knows that attentive service is becoming something of a lost art. The atmosphere possessed an easy, lively rhythm. There was plenty of entertainment, enough to hold one's attention without demanding it, and the room carried the pleasant energy of people who had temporarily set aside the obligations waiting for them elsewhere. Nothing felt overly manufactured. The experience was not desperate to impress, and perhaps that was precisely why it succeeded. 4th Street Bar & Grill did not attempt to transform an ordinary evening into some grand theatrical production. It simply provided quick service, genuine entertainment, and a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the passing hours. In doing so, it reminded me that a memorable night does not always arrive beneath chandeliers or behind velvet ropes. Sometimes, it begins with an open seat at the bar.

We asked if they could still take our order, and we assumed that while the kitchen might be closing soon, we could still dine in since the restaurant was still open. Instead, they prepared our food in to-go containers and then asked us to leave. The biggest issue was the lack of communication. If dine-in service had already ended, they should have clearly told us that before taking our order. We would have then had the choice to either take the food to go or simply not order. Being handed food in to-go containers after assuming we could sit and eat, and then being asked to leave, was an extremely unpleasant customer experience. We came with a mind set to eat and dine in and not in our cars! We completely understand that employees need to close on time, but customers should be treated with basic courtesy and given clear information upfront. Very disappointed with how this was handled.
