Used to love coming to this location but they have failed several times on my orders. They are clearly not reading the tickets and continue to make the orders wrong. I have used Rapid Pick-Up multiple times and they have repeatedly messed up my orders. Today, I just picked up and they left off a soup - told the manager who was working behind the counter and he still gave me the wrong soup right after I told him what was missing. The cashier went to get the manager and I had to wait ten minutes for him to come out. It took him ten minutes to figure out how to give my money back. The service at this location is awful. Ordered my meal online and arrive for their "rapid pickup" service. The meal was not ready so after waiting an additional 20 minutes I asked for a refund. The manager and cashier were both rude and not professional. They rang up the refund incorrect and became annoyed when I would not accept a refund for 5 dollars less than what I paid. Horrible customer service. We came in at 8:40 am and ordered two lattes. Panera is typically quick with them and we had an uber waiting on us. No one appeared to be starting the drinks until we peeked around the corner. The guy said he had to clean the machine first. We waited twenty minutes and still no drinks. The staff was rude and the man who was making the lattes appeared to be the manager, but didn't even bother to apologize once for our wait. He acted annoyed that we were asking when they would be done and then shoved the lattes at us when they were finally done over 20 minutes later. I've never seen such poor service. Such a disappointing experience. I thought about my dinner all afternoon and stopped by on my way home. The line to place an order was backed up and when it was finally my turn-- the employee didn't listen to what I actually ordered and I can only assume she was blindly punching buttons on the screen. Normally Panera is pretty consistent, but this one completely missed the mark. This restaurant is one that starts closing really early. You know the type - they start taking short cuts as it gets closer to closing, stop having certain things that take longer to make, or have pre-made a lot of food all so they can leave as soon as the restaurant closes. Well, this place is like that and the quality of the food suffers. We went here on a Friday night about an hour and a half before closing and the experience was really bad. The food took forever to come out and all I could hear from behind the counter was "we don't have this" or "we don't have that". I ordered a Thai Chicken Salad and my wife and daughter both ordered combos that included Asian Sesame Chicken salads. When they came out they were exactly the same - just lettuce, a few chicken pieces and some wonton strips and mine had no dressing. I asked and was told that they were out of the other ingredients for the Thai chicken salad yet they had no problem charging me the extra dollar for the salad anyway. After complaining the manager found the ingredients somewhere which was amazing. The sandwiches we ordered were just slapped together and missing ingredients as well. I don't know what this place is like during the day but at night I would avoid it. read more

At 4:20pm in the afternoon on a Sunday, two weeks in a row, no coffee made, employees look at you like you have two heads when you ask for coffee to be made. We will never come here again. Tables are never cleaned off, employees take orders while chewing food. The worst place to go for coffee and a snack after a movie. What an embarrassment for panera bread. Went in around 2:00. The smell was wonderful as I walked in the door. The staff is friendly and helpful. I opted for the tomato soup and 1/2 grilled cheese with white cheese. Sad to say the bread was hard. It appears the grilled cheese had been cooked earlier and sitting in an oven somewhere waiting to be sold. If you turn the bread over, there are no lines. The customer service has really fallen off since Karen left. I actually dread going into this place now, because I don't know what type of service I'm going to get when I walk through the door. If I'm lucky to get one of the managers to check me out, I'm good, but if I end up getting Karen's replacement, I cringe. This morning was the last straw and I'm done with this place. I'd rather drive a couple of extra blocks and go to Starbucks instead. When Karen was there she would always greet everyone with a smile and she would actually bag up your items, what a concept. Her replacement is awful. You may or may not get a good morning and if you order something like a parfait or fruit, regardless of how many you buy, you get some spoons, you have to ask for a bag, and she doesn't even bother opening the bag. We could have given zero stars if possible and the full blame for this bad review goes to the manager of this restaurant, Joe Tracy. Terrible customer service. We went there to order our lunch today and used a $15.00 Panera Bread gift card to offset the cost. After the order was made, we were told to swipe the gift card first and then our credit card for the balance, which was $6.25. For a reason that we still not fully understand, the person at the register had to cancel the transaction and restart everything. However, in doing so, the $15.00 gift card was no longer valid. She then approached the manager, Joe Tracy, to see how he can fix the issue. The person at the register explained to Mr. Tracy that the gift card was valid when first used but when she cancelled the transaction, the card no longer had the $$$ in it. Mr. Tracy kept insisting that there was nothing in the card, despite the person at the register and us insisting that the card was valid. He refused to solve the issue and walked away. All the person at the register could say was "I am sorry". We are very generous people that give tips every time we order food and we were treated like we were dishonest people. It is not the $15.00 that we lost that concerned us; it is the poor understanding of the issue by someone in charge. Will never go to a Panera Bread restaurant again.... read more

While the food here tastes good the portions are small for salads AND the WORST thing is this place is getting REALLY run DOWN. The carpet is nasty, the seats are worn out and torn and it gives you the overall feeling of this place is unkept, unclean and not safe to eat at. Hopefully the management will overhaul this before we (and others) have to stop going. To be honest it is already tough going there...just look at the sidewalk at the entrance. It is so nasty coming out from the door. This happens when dirt, grease and food is swept out the door over and over. It tells you how dirty the carpet is. But trust me it is not confined to the carpet, the ENTIRE place is getting gross. Wake up Panera and keep this location up to descent standards. If you let it go the next thing will be wondering why this location is not making money and going out of business. read more

I visited the Northpoint location on 2 separate occasions and both times i was dissatisfied. The second visit was me giving them a second chance, the customer service is horrible, no one says good morning and they are extremely slow 2 customers walked out today because of the wait and I was the only person in front of them. My job just moved up here from Norcross and I loved that location I knew their names, I went so often they already had my bagel toastin by the time I reached the front of the line. I don't expect them to do that but I do expect customer service. I will not be going back and just highly disappointed. read more

I ordered a breakfast power sandwich at 10:00 a.m., no crowds, no lines, plenty of workers, and the egg had huge gray smears which were very unappetizing. When I pointed it out they said they needed to get a manager. Should have just apologized and offered a new one right away. Instead manager comes out issues a refund and then goes to the staff to find out what happened. Cmon panera .... This is the best Panera I've been to. It is clean managed very well. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. I'm very picky about sweet tea always being ready and tasting the same every time. I've noticed some locations don't wash out their brewers often and the tea gets a strange taste to it but not here. This is the worst place to eat at for breakfast...i tried to place a call-in order for pick up and was placed on hold for over 1hour, finally someone came back to the phone to take my order. I asked to speak with a manger, the manager came on the phone did not give me her name nor title just said hello, just took my complaint and stated she would speak the the employee. never offered me anything at all for my inconvenience and did not apologize as if i was the problem. Sorry to say but this Panera, once my favorite lunch spot, has gone down hill rapidly. I noticed a month or so ago basically 100% turnover of the lunchtime staff. Some of them knew me by name so they had obviously been there for a little while. They're all gone now and without them the cleanliness of the restaurant has suffered a steep decline. Tables are no longer wiped down, dirty plates are just left in booths. Last week I got a dirty spoon with my soup, this week I go to get ice and notice black mold inside the ice dispenser. The new lunchtime staff, seems to move a good bit slower than the old staff. They can be seen wandering around or singing late in the afternoon when I sometimes go there. Is this location a franchise that was sold to a new owner? Is it under new management? It's pretty disappointing to see such a rapid decline over the last couple of months. It does seem that the Northpoint Alhparetta area in general is in decline. And to be fair, I won't set foot in most of the restaurants in that area but I am truly disappointed that Panera has joined the rest of them. read more

This location fails. My first time here I asked for a sandwich with the addition of horseradish sauce. When I returned to my business 20 minutes away an opened my sandwich there was literally a small dab of sauce in the middle of the bread about the size of a quarter. The other 75% of the sandwich had no sauce. How do you fail at making a simple sandwich? I called and spoke with the apologetic manager who offered to replace it on my next visit. My next visit was just as disappointing. When I explained to the cashier that I would like the sauce over the entire sandwich she didn't know what to do and suggested I just get the sauce on the side. When they called my order I checked my sandwich and sure enough they didn't include the sauce on the side or the sandwich. If I go out and have to dress my own sandwich it defeats the purpose of eating out, especially if they don't give me all the required ingredients. Failed twice at making a simple sandwich. Would have only been one star but I did like the salad each time. read more
