I stopped in for a few pastries, and the owner was super kind. As he was putting fresh trays of cookies into the display case he showed me the cookies I was looking for with almond. The eclair was phenomenal. The cookies are my favorite as always, and the cannoli was heavenly. The cappuccino was excellent!. I usually don't drink cappuccino past 10 o'clock, only espresso, but why not this one was really good and I had not had breakfast yet This shop has the most authentic Italian pastry in all of. Broward County. They use ingredients imported from Italy. Yes, the prices are a little bit high, but the quality is so worth it! Soon they're opening a Panini shop next-door. I can't wait to come and try it! Now they will have sweet on one side and savory on the other. I'm not embarrassed to say that several times I've driven from Pembroke Pines over here just to get a couple of my favorite cookies. When you're in the area, don't miss out on this amazing shop!

I hadn't been here in a while and they remodeled. Made it bigger which is great! Their service however is still the same as before. They are slow to help and even though they had more space for seating.

Pan'e Dolci is an Italian bakery, gelato and coffee shop located in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The space inside looks upscale, from the very shiny floors, to the crystallized chandelier. You will find a huge assortment of house made gelato flavors, cookies and pastries. I got the Stracciatella gelato. Stracciatella is a vanilla based gelato with some very thin layers of dark chocolate throughout. I got the small, their small is very small, most places call this cup a "kiddie" size. To be fair, they really did jam pack my cup. This was $8.00, which was pricey, but to be expected for this part of town. This was very tasty, I especially enjoyed the larger chocolate pieces, they offered a nice crunch, among the very smooth and creamy vanilla. Pan'e Dolci in Fort Lauderdale will deliver some sweetness for your sweet tooth.

We stopped here to get some sweet treats after a long walk around downtown. The lady behind the counter was working alone and she did not look very happy about tending so many people....any way, we got a fruit tart and the eclair. The tart was nice and well balanced...not too sweet, not too tart. A treat that I would get again. The eclair on the other hand tasted fake and not good at all...it tasted like day-old pastry. Overall an OK bakery, not one that I would go back again..... There are some seating inside and outside.

I visited this spot with my wife the atmosphere was relaxed, coffee shop vibes. The pastries were good but over priced, nothing extraordinary in my opinion.

I've been to a several locations of Pan'e Dolci. And the quality is consistent:) Love their cappuccinos and croissants. Such a delicious treat in the morning

Pan'e Dolci Italian Bakery is on another scale. It's not large, but it is packed with authentic Italian sweets, pastries, coffee, and gelato. I had the Chocolate Cake Gelato and it was fabulous. So creamy, the perfect amount of infused crunchy chocolate cake, and a generous serving for a small. I highly recommend Pan'e Dolci and am certain that you'll enjoy every item that you'll order.

This was our second time here. We got ice cream this time. It was delicious. Portions are large (the large cup looks small but they fill it way past the rim of the cup). Seating indoors at a countertop with stools.

Cappuccino and Sfogliatelle pastry, that I'll be back for!

The most wonderful pastries and desserts! I also got a cappuccino that reminded me of Rome so it's authentic Italian, which we love

Pan'e Dolci is is a small chain of Italian bakeries founded in 1998 by Italian born pastry chef Roberto. In addition to this location on Las Olas, they also have a bakery in Lauderdale by the Sea and Oakland Park. Pastry Chef Roberto was born in Viareggio in Tuscany where he learned to make bread, wedding cakes, Italian desserts, cookies, and cakes. He then went on to assist the Master Pastry Chef aboard Princess Line Cruises. After working in Seattle Washington and Las Vegas, Nevada he became the pastry chef at Gran Forno, on Las Olas Blvd before opening his own bakery, Pan'e Dolci. I had previously been to the Lauderdale by the Sea location and loved my visit. I was introduced to this location by a friend who treated me to one of their pignoli cookies, a favorite of mine. This is a very authentic Italian bakery, They have a great selection of gelato, baked goods, sandwiches, and coffee drinks. You order at the counter and then can sit at the one of their tables although this location feels much smaller than Lauderdale by the Sea. I enjoyed popping in for a sweet treat during Christmas on Las Olas. I especially adore their cannoli.

Cute little Italian shop on Los Olas. The authentic Italian pastries are exceptional! We visit every single day when in the area. Lavazza coffee is amazing. We've spent time in Italy and this place is spot on! A must try!

I started with the grilled octopus and cannellini beans--always a risk if the kitchen doesn't know its way around a tentacle. Fortunately, LaFuga does. The octopus was tender, flavorful, and seasoned like it had just come back from a summer abroad. A great start. For entrées, I went with the shrimp over homemade pasta and the swordfish. Credit where it's due: the seafood is where LaFuga really shines. Both the shrimp and swordfish were cooked exactly right--moist, perfectly seasoned, and confidently plated. If the meal had ended there, this review might've turned into a standing ovation. But then... the pasta. And while the menu proudly labeled it "homemade," I'm not sure it was quite "ready to leave the house." It was noticeably hard--whether from undercooking or an identity crisis, who can say? Let's just say the texture was more "al dente... and then some." To be clear, nothing was bad--it just felt like two different kitchens made the dish, and only one of them had read the recipe. All in all, LaFuga is worth a visit for the seafood alone. If they can get the pasta to stop pretending it's auditioning for a role as a firm mattress, they'll really be onto something.

After all the hype and difficulty getting in, I was very curious to see if it would actually live up to expectations--and honestly, it did. First, the cons. The restaurant is tiny. Like...teeny tiny. There's basically no standing room when waiting to be seated or picking up an order, so everyone kind of awkwardly crowds near the front door while servers and bartenders are constantly weaving around you looking mildly annoyed that you exist there. Eventually, people started gathering near the opposite end of the bar by the bathrooms because there was at least a little more breathing room. Once seated, the atmosphere is very lively, loud, and fast-paced. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely not the place for a quiet intimate dinner. Our server also may have been having an off night because there was a bit of attitude mixed in throughout the meal. That said... the FOOD. Unreal. Absolutely worth the wait and reservation struggle. Everything we ordered was exceptional. The sweet long pepper, Savage Garden salad, and Bolognese pasta were all incredible. Then came the pizzas--the fresh tomato pizza ("upside down pie") especially was ridiculously good. The squash blossom and cold pulled burrata pizza was also delicious. To finish--because we weren't stuffed enough--the strawberry olive oil cake. A literal perfect ending to the meal. Despite a rough start, the food completely stole the show. Easily an 11/10 meal. Now I just need to survive trying to get another reservation for round two.

I would definitely like to try more from their menu as there were a lot of things that caught my eye but couldn't fit in for this visit. In fact, it was probably the best food we ate all week. (Sorry, Disney Cruise Line) The restaurant itself was cozy and very intimate, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. It had that warm, welcoming feel you hope for in a great Italian restaurant, the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a bottle of wine, and settle into the evening. We started with a wonderful bottle of Pinot Grigio and the arancini, which was crispy, rich, and full of flavor. From there, the meal only got better. My wife had the pasta bolognese, and I had the lobster ravioli. Both dishes were outstanding. The bolognese was hearty and comforting, and the lobster ravioli was delicate, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For dessert, we split an order of cannoli, which was the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal. Everything about the experience felt warm, personal, and genuinely Italian. The food was memorable, the atmosphere was inviting, and the evening gave us exactly what we hoped for before heading out on our cruise. Bellagamba's is absolutely worth a visit. The dining room was full on the night we were there and the ambiance is simple and a little rustic with the brick walls and beige tables. We started with the grilled octopus and the Italian rice balls stuffed with meat. I think we confused them as the rice balls come 2 to an order and there were three of us so we asked if we could buy an extra one. The first order came up with only 2 but instead of just leaving them and bringing another- they took the 2 away and then just brought one with out the other two. Clearly we screwed them up with our request. Eventually we ended up eating three but not at the same time. The octopus was delicious! For our entrees, I had the spaghetti alla vongole which was delicious and packed with clams. One of my dining companions had the lobster ravioli done spicy and and LOVED it as it came with shrimp on top and small tomatoes. My other dining companion had a special of the day which was a pumpkin ravioli. I think something got lost in the description of that item as he was expecting more of a fall dish but it came with a red sauce on it which he said was an odd combo. For dessert, I was stuffed, but one of my dining companions got the tiramisu for dessert which he said was quite good. All in all- the food was quite good, the drinks were well poured and we had plenty of food to take home for another night. Nice to have this local place in our neighborhood!
