    Chicken parm

This was our first stop for food in Fort Lauderdale and what a way to start off our vacation. The restaurant is located within the Conrad Fort Lauderdale. More of an upscale location, as I'm sure you can tell from the price. We came for dinner, the ambiance was very lovely and romantic. We ordered the chicken parm as well as the pasta in spicy vodka sauce. We also got the buttered pasta from the kids menu. We ordered that first and it came out super fast. Definitely a plus in my book. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating for us and our family. Now for the food, I don't mince words when I say this was probably the best chicken Parm I've ever had. Nothing about it was lacking. The chicken was deliciously crispy, had the perfect mount of sauce. Not too much, not too little and just the right amount of cheese. If you order it, I highly recommend getting it with the pasta in vodka sauce. Phenomenal flavor, very tasty. Again, nothing to complain about. Our toddler also gobbled up the buttered pasta. A great meal overall. Why 4 stars? The complimentary bread is just ok. And it is a little on the expensive side. But overall, excellent experience.

Woah! The food is unbelievable. I don't even eat seafood and that seafood pasta dish was out of this world. Best eggplant parm, that red sauce was truly great. The cheesecake is from Ferrara's in NYC and was the best cheesecake I've ever had. I loved the style of the entire restaurant; clean sleek New York City vibes right in Fort Lauderdale. The accent blue map wall at the bar was gorgeous and really set the tone. The entire staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and beyond welcoming. The bartender Shane made a great skinny margarita which I kept ordering all throughout Fort Lauderdale and no one could get it right. Shane's were great and I have to say that espresso martini shot really hit the spot. The general manager, Henry, was kind, caring and attentive, not only to me but to all of the customers. He made the experience 10 times better and I even heard other tables speaking about how welcoming he was. Overall, this experience was a 10 out of 10 and I will definitely be back.

This place was so good I had to come back and enjoy it again the next day. The place is elegant with a outside bar in the back. The daily happy hour for food and beverages can't be beat. The service from the bartenders both nights I was there was fantastic! They gave great food recs and provided wonderful conversation. The spicy vodka paccheri was delicious with just the right amount of spice. I saw someone having the chicken parm and had to have it when I came back the next day. The sauce was a tad sweet for my liking but overall it was a great meal!

My 900th Yelp review! Do I get a badge!? Three of us went to Vitolo for Rick L's birthday. It's only a block from his home and inside the Conrad Hotel. One dining area is an outside strip of tables along the street. Inside has a casual area with a view of the open kitchen. We sat in the main, more formal dining room with a bar at one end. The ambiance is modern and classy like the Conrad itself. A singer wearing an evening dress sang contemporary jazz as she walked among the tables. We were glad we dressed more than Florida beach t-shirts, shorts and flip flops. It happened to be Martini Monday night so Rick and tried their special Perfect Pear martini. They were so amazing we had two! Burrata antipasti was delicious with San Daniele prosciutto. We polished that off. Ditto the Calamari Fritti. Rick and I had Linguini alle Vongole which was perfect al dente. The clams and broth tasty. The Queen Margherita pizza was also worth trying. Rick says 5 stars and I concur. It is expensive Italian but the ambiance is nice and service excellent. Too bad Rick told us not to tell the singer it was his birthday. He missed out on a sultry HB rendition LOL.

I went for one of the last nights of Dine Out Lauderdale to experience their tasting menu. I was excited to get to taste a little bit of everything, appetizers, pasta, chicken parm and dessert. Starting with the meatball appetizer, polpette. It was a good sized meatball even for the tasting menu, in a very tasty sauce. The bolognese was next. It was more of a creamy sauce, but it was yummy. The chicken parm was a great portion, said to be 1/3 of the size of the normal portion, which must be ginormous. It was delicious. My favorite part of the meal was the tiramisu. It was soo good. It was a great way to experience getting a taste of this restaurant. From the ease of getting a reservation, to the attentive service, nice ambiance with live music, it's definitely worth a try. It is always great to have a good hotel restaurant that has quality food, especially when you have out of town friends.

Our friends had been raving about Vitolo so we were excited to join them on Friday for dinner. Everything was delicious. We had the chicken parm, the margarita pizza and the spicy paccheri pasta. Everything was so good. Angel, our server, was fantastic. The portions were good - especially the chicken parm. The place was lovely. It does get a bit loud in there but the ambiance was very nice. Will come back and try their outdoor bar. Hooked on their food now and can't wait to go back.

I really enjoyed Vitolo! Had the branzino and it was lovely!! The service was great, the atmosphere was festive. I found a space but otherwise valet is recommended.

Vitolo is such a hidden gem on Fort Lauderdale beach! The service from start to finish was amazing. We had a reservation and were s rated right away. We tried the fired calamari which was cooked to perfection without drying out the calamari! We also enjoyed the lobster ravioli which was so savory and flavorful as well as the chicken parmigiana. We finished our meal off with sorbet and tiramisu which did not disappoint. Our dining experience was amazing so I'll absolutely recommend and will be back to dine again!

If you're looking for an unforgettable Italian meal in a cozy, upscale setting -- run, don't walk, to Vitolo. We had the Chicken Milanese and a pasta special with Sunday Sauce, and both were outstanding. The Chicken Milanese was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, topped with a fresh arugula salad that added just the right brightness. It's one of those dishes that looks simple but is done with absolute precision. The pasta special with Sunday Sauce was pure comfort food -- rich, slow-cooked tomato goodness with that deep, savory flavor that only comes from hours on the stove. The pasta was fresh and perfectly al dente, and the meat in the sauce was melt-in-your-mouth tender. It genuinely tasted like something straight out of Nonna's kitchen. Service was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable -- the staff made great wine pairing suggestions and really knew the menu inside and out.

I find it hard to believe this doesn't have more reviews. This restaurant is located in the bottom of the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. It's dimly lit, very romantic and perfect for a date night. I love the lights they have on the tables. I would like to find those somewhere. The service was excellent. All the servers were very well trained and very professional and knew the menu well. They started us with some fresh baked bread with olive oil with oregano in it. The bread was soft and delicious. Can't wait to try the oregano in the olive oil. At home because It was unexpectedly tasty. As a starter drink, my BIL ordered a Borgogno Riesling. And kept saying something (That I can't post here) of how wonderful it was on his tongue. It cost $115 a bottle. I'm not a wine drinker but I liked it too. We also ordered the charcuterie board. I will post a picture. It was excellent and plenty for three people. I really liked how they put it on a board that looks like a slice out of a tree. I must say it was a very nice touch. My husband and I split the fish of the day. Which happened to be snapper piccata. It was the biggest piece of fish that I've seen in a while and just absolutely delicious. I asked for extra piccata sauce and they brought it over with capers in it. It also came with asparagus, (which we ate some of before I took the picture. Sorry about that.) It was just so yummy. I wanted to go back there and have it again but we didn't have enough time. I will definitely go there the next time I'm in Fort Lauderdale. I'm still dreaming about that fish. The last thing we got was the Panna cotta with berry compote on top. Oh my goodness this was to die for as well. I am so sad that this restaurant is so far from my home on the West Coast. It's going be a while before I get back there. But I will be sure to go here next time I am in town.

We came here twice during our short trip to FLL, both without reservations, and were seated quickly. The hostess and servers were friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is dim lit, and romantic. Excellent wine list! What we ordered: -Polpo (octopus): it was our fave, cooked perfectly. -Mista salad: average mixed salad, lacked flavor. -Queen Margarita pizza: so good! -Pepperoni pizza: excellent! -Striped bass alforno: so fresh, and flavorful!! -Tagliatelle bolognese: amazing! -Special of the day, Brazino: was very good!! -Gnocchi: ok. -Broccoli rabe: average. -Mushrooms: lacked flavor. It's a great restaurant for being inside a hotel, a safe choice and def worth the visit!

SUPER recommended for a a nice ELEVATED DATE NIGHT. GREAT FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION WITH A FRIEND OR A LOVED ONE. Their portions are big and price reflects it. They are located inside of the Conrad hotel. They have valet parking that you can get discounted if you tell the server. I think it's half price if the restaurant validates it for you. We were recommended Vitolo specifically for their chicken Parm that we paired with some pasta vodka. Between the two of we were unable to finish and took partial of the meal home. It was all super delicious. The inside is very elegant anD dim lit - emanating fine dining The guest here are dressed up for their meals - I suggest to bring out the heels for this dining experience.

Vitolo is a wonderful, slightly off the beaten path location for happy hour. The food is delicious and the portions are large. Definitely split with friends. And Stephanie, one of the bartenders, is the absolute best. Get to happy hour early to grab a seat at the outdoor bar and enjoy the ocean breeze.

    Ask the Community - Vitolo

Are shorts and a polo proper attire?

Yes, when I had dinner there, there was plenty of people dressed in smart casual attire.

We have read the reviews, and most mention that the Chicken Parmesan is a large portion, without a side of pasta. Is it okay to order the Chicken along with a full size pasta and share?

    Absolutely!

Can we eat at the bar?

Yes, you can eat at the bar. Order the Manhattan. Best I've ever had

Is there seating for more than two people outside?

    Yes there is upon request!

What is the parking charge? Does the restaurant validate? Anyone paying attention?

Hi David! The valet through the Conrad hotel is $30 for up to 4 hours. We do validate parking for guests of Vitolo for a flat $15 fee.

I started with the grilled octopus and cannellini beans--always a risk if the kitchen doesn't know its way around a tentacle. Fortunately, LaFuga does. The octopus was tender, flavorful, and seasoned like it had just come back from a summer abroad. A great start. For entrées, I went with the shrimp over homemade pasta and the swordfish. Credit where it's due: the seafood is where LaFuga really shines. Both the shrimp and swordfish were cooked exactly right--moist, perfectly seasoned, and confidently plated. If the meal had ended there, this review might've turned into a standing ovation. But then... the pasta. And while the menu proudly labeled it "homemade," I'm not sure it was quite "ready to leave the house." It was noticeably hard--whether from undercooking or an identity crisis, who can say? Let's just say the texture was more "al dente... and then some." To be clear, nothing was bad--it just felt like two different kitchens made the dish, and only one of them had read the recipe. All in all, LaFuga is worth a visit for the seafood alone. If they can get the pasta to stop pretending it's auditioning for a role as a firm mattress, they'll really be onto something.

After all the hype and difficulty getting in, I was very curious to see if it would actually live up to expectations--and honestly, it did. First, the cons. The restaurant is tiny. Like...teeny tiny. There's basically no standing room when waiting to be seated or picking up an order, so everyone kind of awkwardly crowds near the front door while servers and bartenders are constantly weaving around you looking mildly annoyed that you exist there. Eventually, people started gathering near the opposite end of the bar by the bathrooms because there was at least a little more breathing room. Once seated, the atmosphere is very lively, loud, and fast-paced. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely not the place for a quiet intimate dinner. Our server also may have been having an off night because there was a bit of attitude mixed in throughout the meal. That said... the FOOD. Unreal. Absolutely worth the wait and reservation struggle. Everything we ordered was exceptional. The sweet long pepper, Savage Garden salad, and Bolognese pasta were all incredible. Then came the pizzas--the fresh tomato pizza ("upside down pie") especially was ridiculously good. The squash blossom and cold pulled burrata pizza was also delicious. To finish--because we weren't stuffed enough--the strawberry olive oil cake. A literal perfect ending to the meal. Despite a rough start, the food completely stole the show. Easily an 11/10 meal. It had that warm, welcoming feel you hope for in a great Italian restaurant, the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a bottle of wine, and settle into the evening. The first order came up with only 2 but instead of just leaving them and bringing another- they took the 2 away and then just brought one with out the other two. Clearly we screwed them up with our request. Eventually we ended up eating three but not at the same time. The octopus was delicious! My other dining companion had a special of the day which was a pumpkin ravioli. I think something got lost in the description of that item as he was expecting more of a fall dish but it came with a red sauce on it which he said was an odd combo. For dessert, I was stuffed, but one of my dining companions got the tiramisu for dessert which he said was quite good. We had left a dessert behind and he was so kind enough to put it away in the fridge for us when we went back to get it! Ambiance here is very dim and intimate so it definitely makes for a great date night spot! 10/10 experience I would 100 percent come back again!

The North Italia where I'm from is a very upscale restaurant but this spot fell really short. I had…read moreto send back the eggplant parm because my knife couldn't cut into it. This shows it wasn't ripe or cooked well enough I had ordered chicken strips and fries for my son and the chicken was burnt and too crispy. Overall I won't be back. The only pros is that it was directly across from a few hotels and the interior was really nice.

The ambiance of the place is lovely, decorated with string lighting that looks so gorgeous at night. The patio area is much bigger than I anticipated and even has some larger tables for any larger parties. We started off with an appetizer of the peach burrata, which was tasty! I would give it 4/5. We then got wine flights which I thought were such a great value for the price. You get 3 small sized wine glasses for $15 and get to sample three wines! Definitely recommend this 5/5. As entrees, we shared two entrees - the pesto pasta and the gnocchi which at the time was made with a pork type of sauce. Both were very delicious and we really enjoyed the flavors of both. The consistency of the gnocchi's sauce was a bit interesting, as it was all sort of blended together, but the flavor was very good! Would give them each 4/5. We ended the night with tiramisu - delicious and the presentation was very cute. I haven't had very much tiramisu to compare against, but I'll give it 5/5 as I really enjoyed it! As for service, our waitress was very attentive and nice but note that they can get busy on weekend evenings, so expect a little bit of a wait. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed the food. My favorite part of the night were the ambiance and the wine flights. I hope to come back again soon!

Super friendly across the board. The vibe is the best part. The outdoor courtyard setup is really cool, especially at night. Just a great atmosphere whether you're grabbing a drink or staying a while. Had the margarita pizza our last night and it was legit--really good. Highly recommend if you're in Fort Lauderdale and want a laid-back spot with great energy.
