We stopped by for dessert and it was definitely worth it. It's a nice spot near the beach with a very chill atmosphere and not overly crowded. They offer a great variety of sweets, including ice cream and pastries, along with coffee. They also have sandwiches if you're not in the mood for something sweet. This is an extremely interesting place to visit at the entire Lauderdale by the sea for us. Trust me, doesn't have a lot of reviews, but I can tell you something that this place runs by love the moment we entered. It was giving us a local Italian vibe with all the Italian pastries cookies gelato, and plenty of desserts with coffee and other items as well. It was a lot and lots of sandwiches. Panini is hot and cold ones that you can buy it was also a mini grocery store for Italian bakers or renters. We bought a bunch of cookies and desserts and had them had an amazing ice cream. It was a lot of ice cream for a small cup. Very generous amount. At the end while I was leaving, I was just having a talk with this amazing closed. Her name is Cristy. Heard great things about the bakery and was disappointed. We arrived and one person was being helped by the espresso counter. Someone else was waiting to be served in front of the bread and cookies. The women behind the counter finished with the espresso order and said she had to help the guy by the bread counter. In the meantime there is someone going back and forth from the kitchen bringing out and stacking Paninni for lunch(at 10 in morning) instead of helping the next customet(me). It took forever. But the real problem was all breakfast pasteries were burnt! Not a little over baked, burnt. I commented to the person and she acknowledged it. Where's the quality control? Who sells burnt food. Only option that wasn't burnt were the Bambolini which were ok, nothing special, not what we were hoping for(croissant, pan au chocolate) the espresso and cappuccino were fine. I've lived here for 10 years. This place gets worse and worse. The owner won't spring for letting the waitresses get tipped via credit card. Pretty cheap in my opinion. However, they will charge you five dollars for one cookie. It's usually my last resort, but I was starving. I stopped by and asked for prosciutto mozzarella. They would not make me a new sandwich. Recently spotted this bakery which had amazing curb appeal and wonderful presentation of baked goodies. However, our counter server was not in the least bit interested in helping us much and was unable to answer what I thought was a basic question. I'd asked if my choices was filled with fresh cream or confectioner's custard. I thought this was an easy question but seemingly beyond our servers interest level or understanding of english. I visited here last time I was in Fort Lauderdale, and knew I had to come back. The paninis are amazing! The service is nice and friendly and the restaurant is beautifully well kept. They have little tables to sit outside and enjoy as well. We got a smoked salmon panini to split, it comes with pesto and mozzarella and was amazing! It tasted so fresh. They offer to toast your panini but we did not get this one toasted. The mini fruit tarts were also delicious!
