This place has been our go to for a couple of years now. We first came looking for paletas on a random search and to our delight, they have much more than that. First and foremost, their paletas are soooooo good and unique. They have the best flavors not found elsewhere and ingredients are carefully sourced. They don't cut corners.... Guava and cream, horchata, honey and goat cheese, passion fruit, Parmesan ricotta, lulo (IYKYK), among others. And if you're courageous and adventurous, go for their alcohol infused ones (vodka-lime, daiquiri, amaretto, mojito and so much more). They also have very unique gelato flavors. I tasted their lavender one today... no artificial colors!!!! Pure goodness. And that's just the beginning. They have to die for croissants and other artisanal specialty French pastries. I've never had a croissant like the ones they have at D'Liras. At every opportunity we drag friends and family and they all fully agree. When you walk past D'Liras in the morning you'd swear you were in Europe. The smell of fresh baked croissants makes your mouth water. The place feels like a small European cafe. The croissants can be filled with a variety of cremes and are super delicious. When you get done to go they don't just throw them in a bag. They present them in a box with a few whip cream touches. The atmosphere is modern, inviting, and located right in the heart of Wilton Manors. Bonus points: it's puppy-friendly, which makes it even better for a weekend outing. Now let's talk about the food. The croissants are, without a doubt, the best I've ever had in my life. From pistachio to ham & cheese to crème anglaise, every bite tastes like Europe on a plate. You can clearly tell the chef trained abroad and brought back authentic French technique with a South Florida twist. Truly incredible. That said, here's where they lose some points: timing. They open at 10:30, but when the doors open, the croissants aren't always ready. On my first visit, I waited nearly an hour for croissants (yes, a full hour!) and about 20 minutes for coffee. The iced coffees also came out a bit off--the powders weren't fully blended and the chocolate shavings were ground too fine, giving them a grainy texture. My advice? Pre-order, pick up, and enjoy at home or with your own coffee. That's the sweet spot. Since doing that, every visit has been perfect and the croissants alone make it worth it. Even with the wait, I'm giving D'Liras 4 stars because the croissants are truly next-level and absolutely worth the trip. If you're in South Florida--go. This place.. Our favorite in Florida. Everytime we come to our Florida house, this is our first stop. Everything is meticulously made. I was meeting a friend of mine last month at the Wilton Manors and stumbled upon this place on the way back to my car. I decided to go in and got some pistachio gelato and also purchased some bread pudding and coconut cake to eat on a flight to San Francisco. The pistachio gelato was delicious and free of artificial flavors. The bread pudding was so good and not too sweet. So I decided to go back and tried their croissants which they're known for but unfortunately they were sold out. They only had one chocolate croissant left which was soft and flaky. I got some peanut butter gelato this time, more bread pudding, 2 slices of cheesecake and a charcuterie plate to celebrate the new year. The place is super cute. It's very well decorated there was nobody in there when I went, but I'm sure it was because I went at a time where it wasn't rush-hour. The croissants loved them of course the chocolate ones better when it's warm so the chocolate melts the cream croissant was delicious. I want to go back and try all the other bakery goods. I give D'Liras accolades for bring something different to the Drive. While there are other ice cream stores this one focuses on popsicles. I had the honey with goat cheese and it was a nice combo. Owner Mario Ramirez comes from a family of bakers and trained in France. One can recognize the quality of an establishment by the decor and cleanliness of their restaurant/cafe and the smile and sparkle in their eyes. I knew the croissants were going to be amazing before I even tasted them. Mario is a super human being and I've been to D'Liras 4 times in my two weeks in Fort Lauderdale. Today he made a special order of pastelitos de guayaba y queso for my Colombian family and they were amazing. We also got to sit down and chat with him for 45 mins. Found this gem and i cant get enough of it!! Everytime i go visit my friend we go since its just downstairs from his home! Very dangerous lol the employees are very welcoming especially pedro hes great. The place is small but cute and always very clean. The best part of it all is that everything they have to offer is made in house! This was a fantasy dessert experience! In that it surpassed what I ever could've imagined In my dreams. There were four of us and we all got dessert with a scoop of Gelato.
