If they have more than two customers, they'll generally have someone else come out from the back, to help keep customers happy and well taken care of. :) Schmidt's Bakery is very clean and orderly, and the presentation/quality of everything is great. Most treats are chilled in the glass cases, which is a lovely touch. We find that it's quite difficult to pick just one or two treats per person. I don't have much self-control with these delicacies, so I make a conscientious effort to only stop in like once a month because everything I've tried is just. so. good.

I reached out to Cakes By Edith on instagram, sent them my cake inspiration and they sent back the exact picture I was wanting, with the song cover for Twenty Eight on the cake. When my boyfriend went to pick up the cake yesterday, the cake was missing the "Twenty Eight" part of the song cover entirely. This completely defeated the purpose of the cake as I am also in bodybuilding prep so I wasn't even going to be able to eat the cake, I just wanted it to take birthday pictures with and then to freeze and eat later after my bodybuilding show. And it's a complete missed opportunity as I only turn 28 once. I sobbed when I saw the cake because I knew even though I couldn't eat it, I was excited to have my perfect cake and Cakes By Edith did not deliver.
