After our first dinner in Melbourne at Lim Kopi, we walked by here to see the menu for Lulu's Char Kwai Teow, and was immediately lured into Pandan Dessert Bar by the alluring pandan smells. We were on our way to a gelato spot and didn't make it there.
Service was friendly and comfortable. The interior was bright and had a few tables suitable for smaller parties. The two of us ordered a cendol (which I always have to get when I see it on menus!) and a pandan tofu pudding.
The cendol was decent. It's more like bingsu than the traditional ice cendol from Malaysia/Singapore. The flavors were nice but I found my pandan jellies frozen and not the texture I'm used to in a cendol. The pandan tofu pudding was nice and flavorful. read more
