The windows are top quality, have great U-value for energy efficiency (they beat equivalent products from other vendors), are all tempered with aluminum frames (great for fire resistance), and have an elegant and modern look. Our windows matched all the specs from the approved drawings and arrived on site at the promised date (within 12 weeks of approved drawings). The service was the best we received (we evaluated 5 vendors for this 40 window package RFP). The team (Efrain and Trevor) were prompt to reply to all communications and made the process a breeze. We deeply appreciated their professionalism and having our best interest in mind. They offered us a Panda Select door that met all our criteria and was at a lower price than the one we had originally selected. They also welcomed us at their factory where Jorge gave us a thorough and patient explanation of the installation process. We also interacted with their accounting department for a small correction needed in our final invoice. They clarified the issue with the project manager and the issue was corrected within minutes. I'm sharing my experience with Panda to help others avoid a similar situation. I dealt with both the Scottsdale, AZ location and their NV headquarters. After paying a substantial deposit, intended to provide working plans: * Panda provided unusable plans, despite having site pictures and conducting site visits * Panda representatives lacked basic knowledge about installation requirements for their own products * Panda quoted an installation range of $3,000-$4,000 without understanding what actually would be required to do the project * When the project was deemed unfeasible, Panda refused to refund my $3000 deposit The reality? Viable quotes from two of their three approved vendors ranged from approximately $13,000 to $24,000 - drastically higher than their initial estimate. Even more telling, one of their approved vendors frankly stated that the Panda product simply would not work in our specific application without extensive remodeling, including modifications to floors, ceiling, walls, electrical systems, wallpaper, and window coverings - something Panda should have identified immediately during their assessment. In my opinion, the company demonstrated poor communication, inadequate technical expertise, and questionable business practices. I recommend exploring other options if you're considering high-end door/window solutions. read more

We've purchased and installed 3 of their products and had issues with all of them. The instructions (or lack there-of) make IKEA's look like the best instructions ever. I had to request them from Panda and then try to go through them on my phone - Not a lot of printers on remote jobsites... The most recent project showed up with damaged parts due to inadequate packing/protection. I have spent the last 90 days trying to get replacement parts and constantly arguing with them about what parts I need, and why. The "Regional Sales Rep" is the worst I have ever dealt with. Doesn't return phone calls, or respond to emails. He passes everything off to other people in the office and takes no responsibility for his job. The Threshold (or track) to the door has a tolerance of less than 1/16" before one of two things happens - 1. The doors come out of the track (NOT GOOD) 2. The rollers scrape the track up and don't roll smoothly. This was even verified by one of the engineers at Panda once I finally got him on the phone. This tolerance is not realistic on a 15' opening. Especially when the rollers show up bent and instantly throw it out of tolerance. They also sent nothing to keep the door handle from hitting the other panels when fully opened. I guess you're just supposed to let it bang together... See Pictures Attached. I could go on and on about this, but as I've been sitting here typing, I read some of the other reviews (that go back 4 years). It looks like Panda needs to read them, because they all say the same thing - AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before selling this product to my customer. read more

After my home's entry double-door glass was shattered in a landscaping accident, I needed a new front door. I knew I wanted a single large pivot door with strong rock-proof glass. Several pivot door vendors weren't good options: One shipped from Europe with a long lead time and schedule variability. Several were limited in design customization. Others required extensive contractor-level inside knowledge about doors and installation, and any mistake could be very costly. Then I found Panda Windows & Doors Northern California and was introduced to Byron at their Burlingame office. Byron showed me pivot door examples in the showroom and clearly explained Panda's many customization options and effect on schedule. I settled on a custom design, matched colors to my home with Byron's help, and sent Panda a mock-up photo showing what I wanted. Panda's engineering team created a custom design and 4 months later, that custom door was successfully installed. It looks and works great and I'm happy with the results. Byron helped arrange a forklift rental service to unload the door from the truck (thanks Eddy at EquipmentShare) and an outstanding detail-oriented door installer Joey, who built and painted a custom inner frame to connect the door to existing moulding. Joey also brought in Duane and his fantastic stucco team who refinished stucco on the outdoor wall, making it look as good as new construction. Bonus thanks to Luke, Panda's regional sales manager, who helped clarify additional questions. read more

I had my 3 panel glass door installed in May of last year. The door is of very good quality and really enhances our home. However, I experienced many issues with the independent installer Christian Manzano. Not only did he not show up on the agreed upon installation date, he installed the door incorrectly. After 11 months of trying to get him to come out and replace a defective glass panel and adjust the door, I had to arrange the service with another company. I even stopped by Panda's Las Vegas office and met with Christian agreeing that he will come out in two weeks to service the door. No surprise, he never showed up! In my opinion, Christian is very unprofessional, breaks his commitments, unreliable and a very poor communicator. I would not recommend Christian to my worst enemy! read more

Less than a year ago we purchased an existing home with a Panda Pivot door, which now has a broken lock. After repeated attempts to get a response from their service manager, and from their service provider, we tried their regional salesperson who has also ghosted us (all we need is a new lock). I am sure that when they try to sell you their products, their responsiveness is the absolute best. But when you need service from them, they are the absolute worst - their silence is deafening. And what good is a company that does not service their products? Believe the people who leave reviews about their service practices, and remember that there are other options out there if you are considering purchasing Panda products. read more

What a joke their customer service is regarding repairs. I had a seal come loose on one of my doors so I called and was passed off to Luis. He stated that Panda does not have installers or repairmen on staff only freelancers. Well I called both of them to no avail. Christian would not answer his phone and George was always too busy. I was looknig for windows that had better insulation as we don't have much shade coverage. I went for the thermally broken aluminum windows, which by name doesn't sound good, however they keep the temperature control better than any normal windows and I am able to use my AC and heater less which saves me a ton in the long run. I am not scientific but if you check them out you can read all the specs if that is something you can do and understand. I took time to call and get questions answered which helped me make the choice that I did. read more

I was a bit skeptical in the very beginning when I first placed the order for 24 windows knowing this company was based out of Las Vegas rather than being based locally to my home. The windows and doors arrived and we are extremely happy. Great quality! The main thing when ordering their windows is that you find a good representative locally. We had a salesman that lacked experience, but the company is actually great. The stucco company scratched many of our windows and when I called Panda's customer service to get touch up paint they made sure to send what I needed right away. I was recommended to Panda through my contractor - we wanted to enclose our outside kitchen and was ordering 2 systems. After multiple measurements, pictures and views of their website we selected one of their systems with horizontal garaging of the panels. After weeks of back and forth they recommend not to go with this system - even though it is on their website. So we changed our plans and selected another system with a pivot door - which is what they appeared to have been pushing from day 1. This was a compromise on our part but our contractor was confident we would be happy with it. Well that was still apparently not enough incentive on their part to complete drawings (which are required before the order) and process an order - but not enough honesty to have not accepted a $10,000 deposit almost 4 months earlier. We finally decided to pull the plug on the order - I now regret not having read Yelp - which I am not usually a fan of - before we wasted months waiting. There is NO customer service and minimal courtesy and communication - so if none of these attributes are important to you I invite you to TRY and work with Panda. I have used their custom door products. Smooth as can be if installed correctly, and the opening is properly prepared. Otherwise, like any other system, it will malfunction. My advise, pay the money to trusted GC's and listen to structural engineers. It will save you a lot of headaches in the future. I recommended this to people I know, and some have actually bought a door or two. For the price, its worth it. Learn to listen, read and execute the shop drawings properly, don't cut corners, and voila, you will have the best door systems you can afford. However, customer service is another story. Try as they might, the sales, service and installation teams are at the beckon call of the management. There is little they can do to resolve issues without upper management approval. read more

We had Panda doors installed in our new home in Old Pasadena. Unfortunately, after two years, one window panel was broken by a stone from a workman nearby. I called Panda Doors and ordered a replacement piece of glass, sending a photo of the door panels, they looked up our original order, and we placed an order for the replacement glass. When the replacement glass arrived, it was the wrong size. Panda Windows and Doors claims I ordered the wrong size. I relied on them to know what panel was broken from their original plans and from my photo of the broken window and the adjacent windows. I asked to speak to the manager, and she has not retuned my e-mails or called. I love the doors and just want the right glass to restore them. read more

This is an excellent product. It is also quite expensive. After paying over $!50,000.00 for a multi door installation, I have received incredibly poor service. Actually, no service. The doors will not close or lock and often just swing open. As we live on a salt water bay, one can imagine this is an unacceptable situation. It is now 2 months after the installation was completed and the company is completely unresponsive. I will now have to go down the road of legal action just to get them to finish the installation. We live in Northern California and had Panda windows installed 10 years ago. First, I have to credit our installer for ensuring they followed the company's installation instructions; not taking shortcuts to save time or money. The windows are still in great condition. However, our home has settled over the years and needed maintenance and adjustments. Christian, Panda Technician, is awesome! He is very knowledge and professional. He worked on all eight windows and they perform like the first day we had them installed. I would hire Christian again. read more

I never complain. I'm afraid of Karma. I'm a restaurant owner, I realize I am an open target if someone is dissatisfied, so it takes a lot for me to complain about someone else. But in this case, they deserve all the bad rap they get. I bought sliding doors for my restaurant, and I even bought french doors for my home. I spent well over $20k. The amount I spent should not have any bearing on anything, but since they have no concern for customer satisfaction, I felt I needed to mention this. READ ALL THESE REVIEWS!!! The complaints are valid, their ratings are extremely low, their customer service is virtually non existent. Everything you're reading is accurate. I even demanded talking to the owner, Avi, after I got ignored for a week straight on emails and texts and left messages to Jennyfer at the Panda company. Avi is a good talker, but cuts you off in the middle of a sentence and I got absolutely no where with him. He gave me his cell #. Within the week I had to call him 3 times. My last message to him, was "Why bother giving me your cell # if you never return my calls" He's never returned any! I don't see these guys staying in business too long. and YES, most of the employees I come in contact with share that same common thread... they all are looking for better opportunities. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! I signed up on November 14, 2016 for french doors for my home. Today should be the last call these crooks make to finalize this NIGHTMARE of a project. Wish I would have checked the reviews first. So for starters: REALLY??? 5 months for french doors. Wish I would have gone to Weiland doors instead. I have had to deal with excuses, scheduling and basically I had to call George every Wednesday to see if he was going to come over to complete the job. George was my main contact (contractor) and communication throughout this whole episode. He was at the mercy of where Panda was scheduling him and most of the time they just pulled him off my job to send him out of town. This, in part, was why it took 5 months to install a french door. A few months back I could not lock my door. The alarm was not reinstalled (because the construction was incomplete). So in order to leave the house I had to rig my door and push a table against the door so my wife and I could go to work. They sent a repair guy who took apart the entire door, glass, frame. As a result, the door was now scraping against the threshold and you could see the backside of the raw wood when you looked through the window. Now the lock was not aligned, so I couldn't put the (outside) key to the door to unlock it. They were going to give me a new door handle to resolve the issue, but after 5 WEEKS of calling every Wednesday, I finally lost it when I kept hearing, "it's not done yet with the powder coating" This led to my final straw this past week, with Panda. For a 4 day period, I could not open up this french door no matter what I did. Keep in mind that my outside key still didn't work. Obviously the lack of urgency on replacing the door handle, led to this door falling apart. I agressively had to chase Jennyfer Woods, so called VP of sales. Typical sales person,, once she sells you something, and collects your money, she's not interested in anything else at that point. Just move on to the next victim. door not open.She said she assumed everything was ok, as of a March email from one of her workers. As I told her, if she would've returned my calls or emails, she could've done better than an assumption off an email from someone else. She seemed receptive and told me her engineer Tad and someone else, would be coming by the next day to check all the issues. The next day quickly changed. George intercepted the visit from the engineer and he said he would be by in a few days. To me that was a huge slap in the face. Its like me, as a restaurant owner, getting a complaint about a server and I resolve the issue with the guest at the table, but renege on my promise and have the same server go back to the table. Then the server tells them they will take care of their issue, and there was no need to involve anyone else. George did finally come through on this. He took both doors apart, glass, frame, handle.... and fixed all the but a few minor issues. He's expected back today to complete it all. YAY!! I've reached my 5 month episode with Alf and Ralph on Green Acres. (if you're younger than 50, its worth the You Tube search) Hope no one goes through what I did. It's not worth it. I live in Northern Florida. Had three sets of custom collapsible patio doors installed about 5 years ago. I recently developed a problem with one of the lower hinges on the doors. I called Panda and spoke with Katelyn who asked me to send pictures to better understand the problem. I was fully expecting I would need to pay for replacement parts but was informed the new parts would be covered under warranty and they were sent via UPS for free. My contractor was amazed and the new parts worked great. Great communication though out the entire process and Katelyn proactively reached out to me to make sure everything worked out OK. I was very impressed. I think if you choose Panda products you need to make sure you have a contractor that can deal with complex installs. Their products are usually custom fabricated and require precise measurements and an installer who is experienced and will not cut corners. It is easier in South Florida to find certified installers but really if u have a good contractor or someone experienced in door or window installs they call install the product correctly with the provided directions. The factory works with you to draw up design plans, confirm the final dimensions, and then ships the product for install. They were able to color match my existing doors so everything looks seamless. Innovative product that is perfect for customized design and build projects. read more

We bought several tens of thousands of dollars worth of Panda windows for a home renovation in NYC. To make a long story short, Panda windows are low quality, over-priced, badly-designed windows. While they are spec'd for cold climates, our windows were drafty and would not shut properly. Customer service was awful, and the company does not stand behind it's work. They tried to blame us for not using a Panda-certified installer -- Well, after several phone calls to the office, they finally admitted they didn't have a certified installer in the New York area we could have used in the first place and refused to stand behind their product. We ended up replacing every window. Do not waste your money. There are much better windows available for better prices. read more

This is probably the worst decision I have made in all my years in Contracting. I should have figured, since it took me three times of calling in and getting promised a call back to actually get ahold of someone in the sales department just for an inquiry on the doors. However, I still went on a whim and chose them since they are local. Now the doors resemble the customer service, horrible. My client is everything but satisfied. If I could give negative stars I would. And to add, the installer was incredibly rude. Once they get your money forget about any request on issues with the actual product as well. Always read reviews before purchasing anything nowadays I read the reviews and disregarded them and now I have to deal with the consequences. I will continue to use Nanawall for my choice of doors. We ordered 4 total lift and slide doors for a new home we built a year ago through the recommendation of our builder. The final product installed is a good product, however the service is absolutely abysmal! I tried for months to contact someone via phone calls and emails to try and order screens for our doors. I finally received a call back from Terri Frances - Reginal Sales Manager for Southwest and South Central Mountain States (We live in Colorado) and was able to get them to come to my house to measure for the screens, ONLY because they were already in town for another new house build. That was April 21st. I sent 2 follow up emails to Terri 4/22 and 5/15 with ZERO response back. Every time I tried to call her, she was in a meeting???? I left messages with NO call back. It's crazy because I was trying to buy something, not request service so you'd think they'd want the sale???? Finally I called 6/21 and asked to speak to a manager because Terri was once again....in a meeting. I never received a call from the manager or Terri, but did receive an email from Terri on 6/25 saying "Sorry for the delay, we were changing up directions on screens and so it took me a bit to provide you pricing. Per the details you have provided us, please see the attached proposal for you to review with regard to Project." REALLY???? No response for 2 months and that's the reply. I just finished researching what other company also sells custom lift and slide door screens and THEY will be getting our business!!! We will NEVER buy from this company and will never recommend them. read more

Do not order doors from this company under any circumstances. After they received my payment of $13k they stopped returning my calls. The door panels I finally received were not operable and after a year of threatening legal action via voicemail, I finally received only 2 replacement panels that were even worse than the originals. I went to great expense to find a door manufacturer that could provide us with a "statement" entrance for our newly renovated reception space. After reviewing Panda's offerings online, I worked with my contact there who made many false promises and unfilled commitments. After an extended period after making my deposit, I learned this individual left the firm. My new contact made similar promises. The end product, which I spent over $24,000 for was not anywhere close to the sample product Panda showed online. More over, the installation was ridiculously more complicated and expensive than communicated and none of the particulars were explained prior to final purchase i.e. door track would require recess in flooring, window tinting was uneven and shows "dripping" within the pane. The coloring did not match up anywhere close to the specific example I chose from photos online, which given the expense paid is very disappointing. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS VENDOR YOU ARE NOT LIKELY TO GET THE SAME LOOK/FEEL AS ILLUSTRATED BY THE PHOTOS PANDA SHOWS ON ITS SITE AND YOU NEED TO READ THE FINE PRINT ON INSTALLATION. IT WAS NOT WORTH THE SIGNIFICANT PREMIUM I PAID TO USE PANDA! read more

We have used this companies products twice, both for commercial applications. They are very difficult to work with and very hard to get on the phone when there is a problem. The most recent job had so much confusion that the customer we were working with actually had to fly to Las Vegas to try and see if the material was actually being produced. After the material shipped there were huge quality issues and Panda refused to repair/replace product unless they were paid more money. The product came in unpainted and even after send several pictures they refused to admit that they did not paint it!!!! Panda won't ship anything unless paid 100% up front. As soon as they are paid you have lost any leverage. Choose another supplier. read more

Could not agree more with all of the negative comments on this site. Salesperson came to my house and recommended a door system. I said OK and I have to admit I signed the design because I thought he knew what he was doing. Being in the construction business I should have checked closer but when you higher a company that claims to be the best you take if for granted they know there product. Took over 4 months to get the doors only to find out on the day of install that what the called out was not even close to what would work in this application. The installer claimed he could get them to work and would install them so I wouldn't have 3 large holes in my house while it was 20 degrees outside. He then told me they would work but he would have to come back and reinstall them but for an additional fee. I then called the office and talked to my salesperson who informed that was the application that work for my set up. I had to send him the proper install track from his own website because he did not know it existed. I have to assume some responsibility for not checking closer but as a general contractor for over 23 years I can assure you I will make sure this never happens to any client or fellow contractors client that I know is thinking of using Panda. I can only imagine how many people they have done this to and if you complain they just pass you from person to person and even after you agree to pay the fees they still do not respond with any urgency. Over priced and way to full of themselves. Maybe take a step back and start caring about customer service because good news travels fast but bad news travels at the speed of light and I will make sure I tell every contractor I know about this experience. read more

I am remodeling and expanding my home and decided after shopping around to go with Panda for a large folding door and a large folding window. I was very concerned after reading some of the reviews but happy to say my experience was absolutely perfect. My sales rep. Stephen Keller was awesome, responsive via email and phone at all times. Answered all my questions honestly and quickly. I emailed him all the time and did question the bad reviews but he was very open about it. I am glad I went with an installer he recommended. Christian the installer was very quick, experienced and professional. My doors were ready on time and installed when scheduled. I had no issues with shipment the driver helped unload them. I love both the door and window very much and are exactly what I pictured. My home is almost finished. I will share some pictures once completed. I can't wait to use them.
