I'm a big fan of Panda, aka Steven. I was referred to him by our real estate agent and he goes above and beyond. He'll come and take a look at your house and advise for suggested offerings, like as-needed, quarterly or monthly treatments. During the walk through, he already helped open our crawl space vents, and advised that there was a hole for creatures to get though. He plugged it with steel wool until we could get a better solution. This was all before settling with a treatment option, which we ended up signing on a quarterly basis. He has it scheduled in his calendar for quarterly reminders and will ask when the house is empty next to schedule. He cleans all cobwebs, checks for holes, treats interior of the house and our crawl space. My goal was to keep spiders at bay inside and ensure no destruction outside. We did find mice, and he helped mitigate the situation and will come back and help resolve it. He answers emails very timely and is so responsive. I'm thrilled he is our panda guy for our home in Tahoe. I would highly recommend quarterly treatments at a minimum, as I think it's a better deal than on-call. We even had some other issues at another apartment, and he even kindly advised on that. He's extremely professional and brings booties to protect your floors from dirt. Super responsive, which is quite rare in a busy season in Truckee area. I called Steven in the morning and got scheduled late afternoon. He came punctual, bothered to wear shoe covers inside all the time (again, rare) He quickly identified the root problem and gave us some extra tips on how to keep the carpenter ants away in our particular situation. He even pointed out other small issues when spraying around the house, letting us know that we need to address those to better protect and maintain our house. Amazing service! Steve just came by to inspect my home for what I thought was a wasp problem and he ended up finding a carpenter ant nest instead. He also gave me a ton of great advice on how to repel other insects and rodents. Will have him come out to fix the ant problem in the coming months. He was incredibly prompt, professional and down to earth. Update: Steve fixed the carpenter ant problem quickly and with a very affordable quote. Steve came over and did a free consultation to discover why we suddenly had many mice in the house. He took pictures and gave us very thorough instructions on how to seal up where the mice were likely coming into the house. After this the plan was to then use him to trap the micr caught in the house. But after sealing up the house we saw none. Should we see them, or their remnants, we will absolutely call Steve again. Thank you Steven for showing up and handling my family's panic over a honey bee infestation at our house! I called on a Tuesday night, left a message and he called back quickly and left a detailed message. I was really hoping to find a solution for the swarm of bees at our house and he had a calm and knowledgeable response to the problem. It's not always easy to find someone to even call back quickly -- but that's what he did and came out the very next day when he said he would. It was nothing major after all, but he was knowledgable and re-assuring during our conversations before he came to the house and when he met with me in person. Amazing Service! Steve took the time to explain how the mice are getting in the solutions needed to keep them away.

Steven of Panda came out to look at our house for entry points that mice and maybe other critters could use. He found a hole eaten into the bottom of our garage door. He explained that because of the passage of water and heat through the walls into the house from the garage that rodents cannot be allowed to enter the garage. Wow! We had no idea! He also found a hole through our foundation into the crawl space that needs to be completely sealed. We should also look for the hole in the foundation where propane, which we had previously, was to be allowed to drain from the crawl space should there be a leak in that system. He also found holes in screens at the eaves where rodents can enter. They should be blocked with wood or possible much stronger screen. His company does not do these kind of fixups but he recommended using a handyman and had a name for us to contact. There is no surprise this company has all 5 star reviews. I am amazed. read more

GREAT... Let me state that again... GREAT SERVICE!!! I was having issues with spiders inside and ants outside. Decided to contact a pest control company. Asked my Facebook NextDoor group for suggestions. Two companies were suggested right off... I called the first one suggested and it went straight to a recording to leave my name & number and they would call me back. So I did, in the meantime I called the second suggestion... Steven answered right away. Diagnosed what needed to be done and then scheduled a time that would 1) be appropriate with the weather forecast (rain predicted for the next few days) and 2) would work for me. Friday afternoon... NO PROBLEM! He arrived on time and went to work right away. Not only did Steven do a great job for what he was hired for he also noticed many items around my house that needed attention and gave me advise on how to correct them: eliminate bat access (during the right time of year), mice getting in via cracks under garage door, squirrels nesting under my house and trim missing on my house that could lead to issues. Panda pest management is a great company for all your pest control needs. We have used them both for personal and business uses. Our personal use started when we had a 1 month old baby and the pesky ants decided to move in during winter. Steven came out right away to help us. Trust me hundreds of ants is not what you want to deal with when you have a new baby. For our rental business we came across a mouse problem and again Steven was out the same day on a Saturday nonetheless to do his free inspection of the property and set traps. I have been meaning to write this review for a while. Not because of how well he did his job, but because of what he didn't do. Let me explain. We found some carpenter ants earlier in the season. We started freaking out thinking that we had an infestation because, what else happens when you buy a new house right? You're supposed to have these crazy things happened to you! Panda was recommended through both through Facebook and the next door app so I gave it a shot. We scheduled an appointment and I got a quote for how much it would be to spray for carpenter ants. But what I wasn't expecting was for him to come out, check everything out, and I mean everything all the way to the back of the house, and then tell me it's not worth spraying because we don't have an infestation. He very well could have said we needed the full spray and take our money. But he didn't. He was honest, thorough, and also gave tips on how to avoid pests in the future. If on the off chance we do need his help in the future, I won't hesitate to call. And neither should you. So seriously, give him a call! read more

He did not charge me extra for "urgent" call, and he kept coming back to check on the bait stations frequently until the critters were all gone, again no extra charges. We called Steven for what we thought were carpet beetles - he showed up promptly at our scheduled time, talked through the bugs with us, and promptly diagnosed that we were dealing with a different, and common pest. He took the time to talk through this pests' cycle, climate, pattern, etc and explained that they were common pests, and would reoccur whether he sprayed or not. We're thankful that he came out, and didn't charge us for the visit because there was no treatment required. Steven/Panda was great to work with. We had some mouse activity in a house that we rent out in Tahoe Donner, which is obviously embarrassing when people spend their vacation at your home. He came to the house (without me needing to meet him there) and communicated very clearly about the issues that he saw. He connected us with a contractor who could make a repair to prevent further entry, and then set out traps after we had the repair done. Contacted Steven regarding a mice problem at my in-laws house in Reno. We made an appointment for the following day at 2:00pm. He was right on time. After assessment, recommendations were made to take care of the situation . He showed the entry points that created the issue. We purchased some traps from Steven and before he left the house had already caught 8 mice. This is a real professional company that cares about its clients. We had the beginnings of a carpenter ant problem in the home we'd just bought in Tahoe Donner. We called Panda and Steven (the owner of Panda) was there within the hour. Quickly identified the source of the problem (a tree stump near the base of our deck), gave us a very clear explanation, and then did a full spray inside and outside of the house.
