Meh. This used to be our favorite takeout on the island but the quality declined and we have been loyal to another place for the past 2 years. Tonight we had a hankering for Chinese food and called our favorite place but for some reason they were closed early. We decided to give Panda another shot who has since changed their name to Panda Kitchen. The General Tao's Tofu was the shining star of our delivery. However, the vegetable mei fun, although loaded with fresh vegetables was overly salted (perhaps even MSG). The hot and sour soup was spicy and not sour at all but sweet. Yep it was hot and sweet soup and also loaded with soy sauce. Finallly, the vegetable lo mein...not bad, just meh. Hopefully, our favorite place will be open again next time we are down at the beach and craving Chinese food because Panda Kitchen, while not awful, will not be our top choice. read more

Food is fine enough but once again, as of 2023, the price$ have ri$en. What used to cost me well under $15 a couple years ago is now over $20, inflation has slowed and supply issues have been rectified so those excuses aren't cutting it. And I didn't even get some fortune cookies with my order. You might want to call ahead for prices as all currently listed for July 2023 online menu prices are out of date. It is the best place for Chinese food in Wildwood, New Jersey. The decor is adorable, with the pictures on every wall. The paintings looked homemade, and the cashier told me her daughters painted them. The food was delicious and prepared quickly. read more

I would repeat the same thing as usual and get different shit every time and it's annoying because they would catch and attitude with you for trying to be polite and address the issue. This is the best Chinese food available in South Jersey. My friend and I shared Hot and Sour soup, Szechuan beef, and MaPo Tofu with minced pork. Everything was excellent. On par or better than any Szechuan food we've eaten in NY or LA. It's not really a dine in place. There are 4 or 5 small tables. The chefs are the real deal though. They bring authentic, non-Americanized (added sugar, less spice) Szechuan flavor. read more

Ok - it's an Average to the "T" Chinese take out place - Ordered Pork Egg foo young and they put the gravy on the side which was a positive - the EFY itself was above average but the gravy was too soy sauce flavored based. - the fried rice was basic yellow- not great and the egg rolls and spring rolls were a dough flavorless wasteland. I used to swear by this place... I ordered from there all the time. But lately the quality of service is lacking. I ordered my food tonight at 7:45. At 8:30 I called to check on the status of my order and they told me it had left and was on its way. 15 minutes later when my mom called again, the woman told her it had just left. Then after another 15 minutes it finally arrived. It cost $55 and they had completely forgotten parts of my order. When I called, the woman told me that I never ordered those items. Then when I read my order back to her, she told me that they gave me wrong parts of the order and that they weren't going to send anyone back out. I used to love this place, but I've never been treated that way and I don't plan on ordering from here any time soon. read more

This place is a disgrace. My friend is allergic to peanuts so we called and asked if they used peanut oil and they explained they don't use peanut products, this was a lie. She had an extreme reaction to the food and we had to take her to the hospital. Panda Kitchen has only two tables, which were littered with packets and food bits, one was taken up apparently by workers or family. No one acknowledged us when we entered. They only take cash. When we asked the bored, inattentive man behind the counter where was the nearest ATM, he replied simply WaWa. The place was dirty, the tables were dirty from the people that were eating before. The employees were eating and drinking water/soda while cooking the food, that disgusted me. Had good food a few times, tonite...not so much. Delivery had bad beef teriyaki..it was sour...bad meat. I called them. They said they would send me another order..but it would be they same meat...and tried to tell me i dont know what it should taste like!! Sorry...you are off my list of reputable restaurants.
