I did not enjoy my meal. I got the zucchini chicken. It had that generic Chinese sauce flavor with not that much taste. At least the zucchini was good. Kung pao chicken is my staple order, but that wasn't on the menu. The crab Rangoon was okay. There was too much unfilled dough on the edges. The fried rice had no flavor. Even though I got the plain fried rice, I expected it to at least have egg and vegetables but it was entirely plain. And plain taste too. read more

This is my fav chinese food place in SI! Where i live the chinese spots are super expensive and dont taste good or they skimp on their ingredients! I would drive the 15 mins here and back (30 mins total) just for decently priced chinese take out thats good ! Ive always called for pick up so never ate here, cant speak for the service. Horrible customer service. They called me stating they didn't have a drink I wanted and to pick another. Then some woman got on the phone and started yelling saying "cancel order, cancel order" and hanged up! The website I used to order is just as bad as I tried to cancel this order, as i will not support a business that yells at their customers, i was told they couldn't since the food is already done and would not recieve a full refund. They've now just lost a long time customer because of their bad customer service. read more

Still my go to place for spare ribs. Meatiest and so delicious. There chef special General tso's chicken with General Tso's shrimp(with a little broccoli) is my all time favorite. Delivery is fast. Food is hot, the way it should be. Love there hot and sour soup. Perfect in winter. The workers are friendly and they have coupons on there menu which always come in handy. I have been going to this place for about 10-13 years give or take and the food used to be better, has gone down in flavor and service unfortunately. I used to order atleast once if not twice a week at times and spent plenty, but noticed they care less about the customers i recently order for about 35$ and i asked for a tiny amount of the sauce they use for the beef on stick or ribs for my chicken wings on the side they said they can not do that but if i want i can buy a small tinyyy container for a few dollars, its not about the money honestly but if i have been a loyal customer for over a decade easy just throw some sauce on it a tiny bit and thats it, food portions have gotten smaller also and prices up along with not the best customer service to say the least. Ordered from Panda Garden for the first time and the food was great - nothing was overly doused in sauce and everything was tasty. I ordered online for pickup and when I got home, realized a few items were missing (egg rolls, side rice) - I called them back and they were very apologetic and had the missing items ready for me when I returned. This used to be my go to spot, they were always quick with delivery times and never messed up an order. However after the experience I just had, I will no longer be patronizing them and will continue to post this review over and over again. I ordered a boneless ribs combo with pork fried rice for my sisters. Their combos are always enough for 2 people. After 45 minutes had passed I told my sister to call them because they never take that long to deliver. We ordered at 6 and the food came 7:45 which never happens. When I went to serve my sister, this is what I saw and I asked her if anybody had eaten out of it beforehand, and she told me no. I asked her multiple times as well just to make sure because I had never seen them send food like this. I called the restaurant and the lady on the phone acted very confused like she had no idea what I was talking about, I told her id send her a picture and she said ok I'll call you right back. I sent it to her and she calls me back but this time it's to accuse us of eating the food and trying to get another meal. All of a sudden her story had changed from that's impossible, send me a pic to "well you just have eaten out of it then" and she refused to send me another one that was full but she agreed to have them pick up the food and give me a refund. HORRIBLE customer service and she's very lucky that I didn't feel like going to the store because I would've made an entire scene. I ordered from panda garden often so the fact that she tried to say that we were lying for free food is ridiculous, she couldn't admit that they fucked up on their end and refused to make the situation right by sending a new one, it's 8 pm now and my sister hasn't eaten yet. Worst food on SI. !! Dry and and recooked for delivery. Don't orders take out, it will be nasty. If you do they will complain and refuse to send your food. Yep, the food YOU pay for and have a simple request not to over cook !! Go elsewhere and get what YOU are paying for. I called and just wanted to ask what the issue was and they hung up on me ! Decided to try a new Chinese place for delivery, and noticed on our local site that Panda Garden had 100% positive reviews - so decided to give them a try. I'm glad we did - the delivery took around 30 minutes, and the delivery guy was friendly and courteous. The prices were very low, and everything was good - a lot less greasy than many Chinese take-outs. We got: beef with broccoli (very good), General Tso's chicken (not actually the best ever, but it was fine), singapore mai fun (nice and spicy), crab rangoon (yes, this is fat wrapped in more fat and dipped in sugar, but it was absolutely delicious), egg roll (tasty, not greasy), hot & sour soup (not too gooey, very spicy, lots of fresh mushrooms, meat and tofu), and fried rice (very good). My meal was just gross. Don't get the malat portions of the menu. It's not traditional style, just some strange smelling sauce that's not even spicy and no numbing peppers. Asked for extra spicy got extra yuck. Don't get sweet and sour soup because it's 90% sour 10% sweet no spicy as it is in other places. Even worse than my mala beef. Panda Garden has a wide variety of different types of food; even heart-healthy meals and vegan which is afforable as it's mainstay is take-out. Always arrives piping hot thanks to their super fast bicycle-riding delivery service! BTW, he also delivers by car when the bike ride just won't do! Lol prices are reasonable too.
