Good and friendly service . The food is cooked fresh to order. You have to ask for sauce but they don't skimp out on them.

Came here with my boyfriend a few months ago! I actually see his review on here lol…read more Food is fresh, hot and delicious, with really good portions! (I say hot because I burnt my mouth taking my first bite haha...) I ordered the Beef Lo Mein, which was good but different from other lo meins I usually order because it had a more soupy sauce! I also got their iced Lychee Green Tea with Regular sugar, which I loved. Service was very fast and the inside of the place was nice and clean! 10/10 Would come back!

That's when we found Lion Dance in Staten Island. Honestly, I didn't expect much because this place is on Staten Island. I've lived here my whole life, and to be real, not a lot of food spots here are that good. I usually go to other parts of NYC to eat. But BOY, WAS I WRONG. I got the pork soup dumplings, lotus leaf steamed rice with beef and broccoli, shrimp siu mai, and a mango green tea with medium sugar and mango jelly. Everything was so good! The biggest surprise was the lotus leaf steamed rice, it had so much flavor and went perfectly with the beef. The portion was big too. The soup dumplings were juicy, the siu mai were fresh, and the mango green tea was super refreshing. Service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean and nicely decorated. Overall, I loved the food, the vibe, and the service. Definitely coming back and if you're from Staten Island, trust me, this spot is worth checking out!

The…read moreseating area is not that large for it's a small hole in the wall, but it's spacious enough to provide a comfortable dining experience! The food is extremely reasonably priced and both the quantity and quality of the food is exceptional! They are known for their authentic Cantonese Ricepot dishes and you can freely select up to whichever three ingredients you'd like for a very reasonable price of around 15 dollars. My favorite is definitely the eel and Chinese sausage, but there's so many other selections that I'd like to try next time I go back, and I will definitely go back because it was delicious! Although it came in a foil container instead of the pot since I ordered it to go, it was still nonetheless very tasty and my family enjoyed it; I bet it would taste even more phenomenal when we get the chance to dine in! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Had an absolutely wonderful time here for my birthday!…read more The ambiance and decor is a 10/10. It's like being whisked away to a beautiful Polynesian island. Service was very friendly. They didn't flip out when I was running late (I'm still so sorry about that). And on top of being ok with us bringing a cake, they happily offered to bring it out with a candle and song, and offered to cut and serve it for us. Five stars already for that alone! Drinks were delicious and the food was such a delight. Crunchy chips were at the table with a delicious sweet dipping sauce to start. I ordered the Polynesian Coconut Chicken which was so good and quite sweet- of course due to the lychee, pineapple and cherries. Also ordered the steamed vegetable dumplings, which were tasty. After dinner, my friends and I then headed to their bar where they happily served us until nearly closing. They never once tried to push us out or point out the time. They made my birthday one to remember and I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. I so wish I lived closer!

This place is so nostalgic just for the decor alone, it makes me long for the good old days! This is as American as Chinese food can get, so if you're looking for authentic Chinese food, you need to go elsewhere. This place has big portions, great service, and caters to a more American dining experience with big tables for parties or even reunions. Non-negotiable items I have to get every time I'm here: - egg rolls - big and crispy - wonton egg drop mixed - the pieces of pork are HUGE - orange chicken - perfect white chicken meat every time! - chicken and broccoli - tried and true We usually come around 5PM on a Saturday to beat the rush and it works out perfectly that we don't need to make any reservations.
