The Singapore noodles were the best I've had in a while--charmingly flavorful with just the right bite. Sometimes the curry flavor is off but not here. The fried rice deserves a shout-out: not oversaturated with soy sauce, which I really appreciated. Crispy pork belly was excellent--crisp edges and juicy interior done right. Family style portions. Overall impression: This place deserves to be rated higher. It's as good as the spots in my Chinatown back in Houston (iykyk for sure). We'll definitely be back before we leave town, because I want to try the dim sum. Worth noting: Consistency in flavor across dishes stood out--well-seasoned, balanced, and satisfying. I appreciated them giving me a box to put all my food in to go.

I ordered duck fried noodles and it was $16 but the amount of duck that was provided was completely inadequate. Literally, the amount of duck was less than a leg. I also ordered roasted pork fried rice, and again, there was hardly any meat! I was totally disappointed! The taste of both entrees was very lackluster, in my opinion! The service was descent and there was were no complaints, but it was not stellar either. The restaurant was nice & clean, I liked that there's a full view for patrons to see the food being prepared. I hope that they'll improve on the flavor and the amount of meat placed in the dishes because currently, it's unacceptable!

I have looked over some of the comments before writing my review. I am a Columbus native and have…read morebeen to Hibachi many times over the years. From what I can tell, many people do not enjoy most of what Hibachi has to offer. But in Columbus, buffets are very limited usually, and this is by far the biggest and best buffet. I have never gotten sick from this buffet and usually only eat a few foods I know I enjoy. Although I understand others saying specific foods are bad, this buffet is more like you go here for specific items. For me, it's the sushi. Sushi is crazy expensive in Columbus, and for 20 bucks you can get all you can eat here. They have a pretty good variety; it always tastes fresh, and they rotate flavors every so often. For my main course, besides sushi, I love their chicken and broccoli. Most places in town do not get the right flavor for the sauce to pair well. This is one of the only 2 that do it right. As much as I may not eat most of their stuff, I love what I do have. The staff is also always very fast and kind anytime I am there. It always looks clean and kept together. This really is one of my favorite buffets. As a recommendation, expand your dessert menu!

What a beautiful restaurant inside and outside with really nice Chinese/Japanese decor! What an…read moreamazing treat to find a place that serves both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. As a Chinese-American myself, I was so shocked to see such a huge menu where they had such a rich diversity of dishes, and they were all so good and authentic! We ordered so many dishes (just the two of us haha, probably forgot to include some pictures). The key is to order and eat "family style" meaning you share everything. Now, granted, you might not want to share cause everything is so good and you'll want it for yourself. There's something for everyone, so if you're a food veteran (or just a veteran in general- thank you for your service), or a newbie, there's such a large menu, I promise you'll find something you'll like. They also serve teas/milk teas/boba! We got the Mongolian beef, pork belly rice bowl, chicken and potato (spicy btw- also watch out for the ginger), and garlic pork Xiao long bao (they have instructions on the table for how to eat it). Service is also really incredible- I didn't get to ask his name but the kind Filipino server was so so wonderful! Very attentive, made great conversation, and made our dinner experience that much better :) he recognized my boyfriend from how often he used to come here! Will definitely be back again when I visit town again. Also- take this from a native Houstonian/Texan with a vast array of experience with Asian cuisine. Definitely should come- I was pleasantly surprised.

However, China Moon is the closest Chinses Buffett near where I work, so if I have the urge to gorge myself with Chinese food this is where I come. Not because it's the best, but because it is the only place in the area. When you walk into the restaraunt you'll see (of course) a fat, bald gold wooden statue of Buddah smiling. Almost telling you that you'd become like him once you leave. Fat and happy. I'm not Buddhist but I think the statue represents good will and many blessings. Pass the Buddah, you're greeted immediately by the cashier (maybe host as well. Maybe the owner as well) sitting behind the counter. Immediately behind her you'll see a small window leading to the kitchen where people are hard at work cooking up who know what. Then your server will come to greet and lead you to your table. On the way there you'll see plehora of dishes steaming under the hot lamp. Your mouth would water a little because you're hungry and your craving Chinese. Once seated I'd jump right to the hot and sour soup (my favorite soup) then onto the fried rice and stuff. But I must give China Moon three stars because the day I visited all the food didn't seem to fresh because on the surface you'd see the ingredients drying up. The rice appeared to be hardening, soups clumping up to appear gelatinous, sauce on the broccoli beef being soaked up by broccoli and beef. But overall, the people here are very friendly. Ever anxious to provide you drink refills if you're empty. Courteous to take your plate from your table once your done. The hostess very friendly and always willing to talk. ALSO, price is amazing. $7 for all you can eat Chinese food. Pretty good.
