A couple of years ago, it was the middle of a snow storm, and after a hard day of shoveling and being cooped up, we decided to venture across the street to How How. The roads were bad, and nothing around was open...when I pulled up, the lot was empty but the lights were on. I gratefully walked up, as the guy who's always behind the counter was locking the door; they were closing early due to the weather. I said "oh, you're closing, I'm sorry," and began to walk away. He said "no no, come in, come in!". I placed my order (which wasn't small) and they made it on the spot, and seemed happy to do so. I was so grateful to them for that. Been going to this place since they open took a little break pre-pandemic seems the quality of the food had dropped and wanted to try and some new local Chinese establishments in the area. No I'll be passing that way called ahead do you let me see if I got any better post pandemic ordered $21 worth of food again we've been coming here for years my wife likes that oil in the house mustard which is also a little spicy we don't use the five soy sauce is in for duck sauce as they throw in nor did we consume the fortune cookies but this genius behind the counter says $.25 apiece and while I understand the cost of doing business and all products have gone up. That's just the cost of doing business in the Chinese food restaurant line of work. I told her no problem I will happily pay that but if she charges for me that I will never come back again. I don't want this to happen to anyone else who may not be paying attention to their card or have credit protection like I do. For this reason I will be filing a police report and report their business to consumer protection authorities. This way tabs are kept on them, if they deliberately misusing customers' card information, multiple reports, my report can help establish a pattern. Backstory: I called and ordered food for delivery over the phone. The store called me back and asked for my card number again. I made sure to give them a card that I don't use often and monitor occasionally. A few days later my bank calks me on suspected fraud. I had a feeling it was these folks that i gave my card number too because my card was not lost had to be someone that had the number. The fraudulent transaction that gave them up was the charge from south Asian food importer APNA that did not have a physical location, but a virtual location in Ronkonkoma - they STOLE $59.41 with an order from Walmart.com - they STOLE $40.72 with an order to APNA foods in Ronkonkoma which is a SOUTH ASIAN food importer I am still combing through my transactions to find anything else they charged. All transactions that had to be keyed in and they all just so happen to occur after my purchase with them 7/17/26. I've attached screenshots so other customers can see for themselves. Customers beware of giving these people your card number Such a FOUL thing to do, to steal from YOUR PATRONS. You don't know if they are struggling financially or not and you steal from them?? While my bank will refund me, I will still report them so this does not happen to anyone else.
