Food was fresh and constantly being replenished. Service was top notch, friendly and even did a table check. Ambiance was quiet and friendly. There was no loud music, even a finished all wood table, and the drink station was far enough away from seating yet close enough to get what you needed. I would not hesitate to go here. In fact, I would direct you to go here and experience what I did last week. I dont live close to a panda express, therefore i enjoy it when I can. Classic orange chicken and beijing beef with half noodles half white rice, is always a good choice. The teriyaki chicken is also recommended. Wish the restaurants would allow limited seating. Taking food home and having to reheat it, is not ideal. Hopefully soon. read more

Food: the deal offered orange chicken with fried rice. The chicken was fried good and had a good flavor. The fried rice was dry and.had no taste. I had to take it home and dress it up. I had an unacceptable experience at the Wyncote PA Panda Express. I ordered online in advance to pick up in the store at lunch time. The order was Panda Bowl, 1/2 Chow Mein + 1/2 Super Greens + Kung Pao Chicken. There was a 3.5" chunk of raw cabbage stem in the middle of the bowl. I also discovered pieces of cold fried chicken skin with attached unmelted lard. The food did not match the website description and caloric  estimate number. I have Health Safety concerns, as an item belonging to garbage (3.5" raw cabbage stem) ended up in my food. Beside that, my request for a packet of soy sauce and chopsticks was ignored. read more

What is the point of ordering online and receiving an ETA if your food isn't made until you ask about it? We ordered from the car and waited the ten minutes it would take, yet when we went in, it wasn't ready and they hadn't started making it. While the restaurant did have other people coming in and out, it was mid-afternoon and not a rush, so there is no excuse. This pregnant mama, already hungry and craving the food, is not impressed. This isn't a location we visit often, so not coming back and finding other places that offer better service won't be a problem. Only one employee seemed to care, and it wasn't the manager. After waiting and receiving our food 22 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, we didn't have the requested service ware. I went back in and was invisible until I leaned over the counter and started saying "excuse me." The manager looks up and then calls another employee to handle me. The employee was the one who handed me our food (but not the one who had been handling its completion, and apologized repeatedly for the delays) and just looks over and says "she got her food." Yes, but nothing to eat it with, and after waiting an additional 20 minutes, we aren't driving home to eat, are we? Luckily, the one who cares came to our rescue. Good evening to my Yelp Family!! I was here because of co-workers who wanted to eat here. This was first time at a Panda Express. I have always wanted to go there, but I never tried one. The highlight of this visit was the Firecracker Shrimp. It was delicious, but too too hot for my tastebuds. I immediately drank the Lemonade after trying it. I ordered an egg roll, shrimp fried rice and chicken and broccoli. My co-worker paid for my order. I thought that was so so nice!!!The associate that let me sample the Firecracker Shrimp was wonderful and polite. There is plenty of seating here and it is situated in a large mall area. Sooo it seems that this restaurant just opened yesterday and already there is 4 reviews about this place. 2 out of 4 of them definitely seem fake, written by owners or employees of this establishment. So I guess it's my responsibility to give you the real deal about this Chinese spot. This is why I decided to give them 3 stars because I feel this is not an honest establishment.. (I hope I'm wrong!!) The restaurant is very clean, modern and new. Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor. They have about 11 choices of entrees to choose from, coming in 3 different sizes. I ordered their smallest portion size which was one entree and a side. I ordered the Beijing Beef which consisted of fried crispy beef with peppers and onions. It had a nice kick to it... sweet and spicy at the same time. My meal did not include a drink and came to $6.68 with tax included. The food was reasonably good, but the fried rice was a little bland for my taste. The staff working the counter was very friendly and let me sample some of the dishes before I decided what to order.. not much else to say about this establishment. read more

No. Just, no. My stomach is currently bubbling and I'm anticipating the worst for the night. While yes, everyone I encountered that worked there was eager to help and was very polite (hence the two stars), the food is just extremely sad. I ordered three kids meals-- which consisted of the lo mein noodles and chicken egg rolls-- that none of my kids ate (and one of my kids is currently in an "I'll eat anything" stage) and a 'build your own' platter which consisted of their orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, some kind of beef, and fried rice...it went in the trash. I must say that this was my first experience with Panda Express and it will definitely be my last. Food was fresh so far as I could tell, just utterly disgusting. This spot is a hit or miss for quality based off of who is working. There's are times when I order ahead and waste my entire lunch break waiting on my order. I've literally watched lines if 10 people or more get their food before my web order. I usually have to flag someone down to even acknowledge my order. Then there are times like this past visit where my web order was on time but it tasted a bit off. I had ordered the sweet fire chicken but it literally tasted like it had freezer burn. I usually give them 45 minutes or so to make my order and then when I arrive to pick it up I always end up waiting another 15-20 minutes while several walk in orders are served before my order that was placed over an hour ago. Today I was charged for my order and when I arrived to pick it up I was told there was no order placed. I didn't have time to argue that they were wrong so I just walked out and skipped lunch. Went to this Panda Express and stood in line for 30 minutes. The orders of the customers ahead of me had been lost....meaning the employees were so confused and there was no order or efficiency to the process that the customers were missing orders and orders were mixed up. To make matters worse, the employees moved with no urgency. They acted as if they had just rolled out of bed. The food was not being cooked at the same rate it was leaving the restaurant. As a result, customers had to wait a long time because their selected dish in the buffet was empty. Noticing this failure to cook food before it ran out, me and my sister selected what was available so we wouldn't have to wait an additional 30 minutes. We ordered online ahead of time, and when we picked it up, the bag had not even half of what we ordered in it. We went in again to get the rest, and there were still items missing. The third time we went in, they didn't have our receipt, and I had to show them my order on my phone. They were completely out of something we ordered, and just didn't put it in the bag at all. I eat at this Panda Express often and it's usually a good experience but tonight was such a disaster! I may have been in the restaurant for close to 45 minutes waiting for food to take home. There was a group of people ordering a very large to go order that held the line up for quite some time, but as I neared the front of the line I noticed the employees were behind the counter talking, arguing, joking around and not moving with any pace or urgency. There is one young lady who is always there (her name may be Dominique, she has curly hair) you can never go wrong with her, she is always polite, professional and on point. But the others tonight needed supervision. The line is to the back of the restaurant, the gentlemen behind the counter is making plates, stacking them and moving on to the next person without cashing anyone out! So there's 10 different plates of food sitting on the counter unattended to. So unorganized! And then one girl decides it's time for her break and leaves the other two to fend for themselves with all the chaos going on in the midst of a rush. It all put a bad taste in my mouth, there needs to be a better system so things are run much smoother. Management needs to be more hands on, this place has a lot of potential! read more

I usually doordash in Cheltenham and I've always found this panda to be the worst. Longest lines and generally late on my orders. But today I ordered for myself and it said it would be ready by 5:20, it took till 5:46 to give me my order as I stood there for 25 minutes. No communication or anything, it was hard to ask a worker if my order was ready. Overall this place takes the longest out of all locations I've delivered from and or ordered myself. I waited 25 minutes from the time I placed my order, to when I cashed out. During the 25 minutes, I witnessed a few other people before me also waiting 25-30 minutes to get their orders. The staff has no sense of urgency. Many smirks made to one another and it almost seemed like it was a joke. One young lady fidgeted with an iPad to the side (I am guessing it's the app orders coming in) for quite some time. They were so subdued and the process of taking the food orders, dishing the food to completion to paying is ridiculously slow. They need a retraining on how to get orders out the door. No apologies for the wait. I had to point out that my partial order was sitting "RIGHT THERE" to be completed. I would like to have said that this was a one time issue but I have been here a few times and it's still the same. Chipotle across the way was also busy and equally lousy in service so I stayed. I already put my order in and was waiting for one food item and the only reason I stayed was because I felt bad that the food would be wasted. Obviously the staff didn't care about wasting my time so I shouldn't have cared so much. They really need to have a separate cashier from the food servers. And if you are going to serve food, you should wear gloves. And if you are going to handle money, you really need to wear gloves when handling the food. Panda Express food is wonderful. Can't go wrong with their orange chicken. However, this is the worst location ever. The most popular dish is orange chicken. Every time we have been (7-8 times) we along with multiple other people go through the line, order, pay and then wait WAIT WAIT WAIT for them to make more orange chicken. Once or twice, I understand it happens, but every single time why would you not have another wok of orange chicken on deck? Why are you constantly running out of orange chicken when 1/3 of your customers order it? Poor management. Rude staff. Unfortunately it is our only option for Panda Express and we will continue to eat here. I would be a much happier customer if I didn't have to wait 20 minutes from ordering, waiting to eating.
