Panda is exactly what a Chinese chain restaurant looks like. They're definitely better options but sometimes you want something cheap and quick. I was definitely full after my meal. Indoor seating is available and they have a patio in the summer. Parking is easy and I was in and out in under 15 minutes. My son had a seizure in this restaurant. Aug 1st 2024 at 6:10pm. In Panda express woodbury Minnesota. The music is playing and loud. I requested them to turn down the music due to emergency. They turn it down slightly. Still very loud. I explained them someone had a seizure and the music is bothersome. We were trying to settle my son so we could leave. They come back to the table and say, "we can't turn it down more than that, it's policy. Sorry" He turns and walks away. I ordered food here on door dash, had to wait for over an hour & the didn't even have my order correct when it showed up. I was missing chicken, egg rolls & soy sauce, sweet-and-sour sauce. I even called the manager before ordering to make sure my order would be correct, and he guaranteed me that he would make sure my order was done properly because this has happened to me before. After I didn't get the correct order, I called back and asked him to fix it, he told me to either drive up to get food but it would have to be the same day. or DoorDash could refund it. Overall the food was good but the serving was a little bit late and as you can see from the picture the broccoli beef had nearly no beef. I normally have decent luck with Panda Express, but not tonight. Covid-19 order to go, and I made the mistake of not checking the bag before I left. I got home and discovered they forgot a side order of cheese Rangoon. Additionally, my son ordered a lemonade, but I didn't get that either, nor his cookie as part of his kid's meal. As for my entree? I ordered a beef and broccoli bowl over white rice. I counted the actual beef in the meal - there were a grand total of 3 tiny pieces of beef. The broccoli was a little more plentiful, but for the most part, the bowl was filled 7/8 with white rice. Needless to say, I threw it out, and had last night's grilled chicken for dinner instead because I wasn't interested in 3 cups of white rice for dinner. Panda Express was a bust today. During this Covid pandemic, I can honestly say I won't patronize Panda Express again. read more

Probably one of the best Panda Express locations in the Twin Cities. The staff are always friendly and they always give you decent portions, no skimping here. They also keep all of their food hot and fresh. Location is close to everything in Woodbury and you usually can get in and out pretty fast. Parking and location size are adequate. Their prices are also very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. They are also very close to a Coldstone, so that is a nice way to end a meal date. Whenever I am feeling like gourmet fast food Asian, I usually stop here. read more

They completely screwed up my take-out order even after I asked them to double check it before I left. The kitchen seemed incredibly discombobulated, while the staff ran around very unorganized. Two of the employees were playing on their iPhone while waiting for the food to finish cooking. Therefore, I'm not too surprised that the order was screwed up, just disappointed that I asked them to doublecheck everything. I have been calling their phone for the last hour and no one has answered for me to complain to. Will never go back. William put the order together and forgot all sauces for apps. Other staff put wrong types of rice (fried instead of white). My family isn't eating Panda Express tonight but we sure paid for it and can't get a refund unless I want to drive all the way back. We ordered takeout dinner from this location last evening. It was delivered by Grub hub. It arrived cold in a bag all in a lump, with a half a cup of liquid from the meal on the bottom of the bag, looked like a big doggie bag. The cartons were tipped over in the bag and were dripping all over. The brown rice not able to be eaten, it was half cooked, the two orders of chow mein consisted of low mein noodles and a few bits of celery, Kung Pao Chicken was at least a ten in spice (no option to order it anyway less). Very disappointed! No fortune cookies, no soy sauce packets. Four forks were at the bottom of bag dripping with the brown liquid. We called and complained and after giving the order taker my wife's name four times and spelling it I finally gave the phone to my wife who did the same and along with the order number twice. The order taker said they had no responsibility for how the order was delivered (even thou Grub hub is listed as a delivery option) and said to bring the order back if it wasn't right (we had it delivered). They blew us off. We have eaten inside at this restaurant before it was good, hence why we ordered the meal to be delivered. Worse Chinese meal I've ever had. We threw 90% of meal in trash and will seek refund in person today. read more

Not very happy with the day time staff today.. I always get the same order every single time I come here.. my husband and I eat here a lot. Well today the staff told me I couldn't do half and half of something.. after telling the guys this is the only thing I ever get and they always do half and half. Panda Express is always great, especially this location. The workers are always happy and fast! The location is perfect, right in the middle of Woodbury. There's outdoor seating and lots of parking. The best time to go is when they're busy because the food is fresh, sometimes when you go when they're not busy, the good can be cold and not as good but it's great most of the time. This place absolutely refuses to give you meat with your entrees. You pay $10 for an enormous plate of broccoli and white rice. You can bet and plead for more than 2 or 3 pieces of meat but it won't help. We even offered to pay EXTRA and didn't get it!! The place has got to be making a killing on selling the rice and broccoli meals alone. It's incredible, really. I have been a customer here since it opened and have tried to be generous but after today. I am done! I specifically pleaded for meat in my meal and came home with three pieces of really bad meat. If you go AFTER the peak (say, when they aren't creating new batches every few minutes), then the quality dips to 3-4 stars. Last trip, I went for an early lunch. Everything was very fresh. The Orange chicken is a favorite, and the spicy shrimp was excellent! The shrimp were perfectly done. Also, the portion that you get for the price is a solid value. The fried rice is pretty plain, and the standard noodles are good (but nothing special) but the main dishes were surprisingly good. So yup.. we started off on a bad foot. But they have stepped up. 1: Food was hot and fresh and pretty darned good. 2: Service.. Service is fast, friendly and with a smile. When lines are long and you have to wait.. either due to your food being freshly cooked or just cause so many people.. they may hand you a free drink cup.. once while waiting they handed me a VIP discount card and such. GREAT proactive service that is friendly and smiling. 3: Clean.. very clean. So yes.. fast food type.. but its been good. Cant say its gourmet.. but overall.. really good.
