Decided to get dinner on our way home, pandas was on the way out of Wahiawa so we stopped there. No one was in the drive thru line when we got there. We ordered 2 kids meals, 2 bowls and 1 plate. We were told that the chow mein would take 3-5 minutes because there wasn't enough for the 2 kids meals and plate we ordered. We decided to wait. We paid and waited there due to no one being in the line. The cashier asked if we could wait on the side.. he didn't say where so i had to ask. He pointed to the parking lot. We pulled out and pulled right back into their lot. We waited almost 15 minutes... for the noodles that was supposed to take 3-5 minutes. The car next to us pulled up way after us and left before us. I truly think pandas wahiawa needs to let their customers know it will take more like 10-15 min to wait for noodles. We finally got home, i open up the two kids meals... i was very very disappointed! Blocking in someone so they can't get out? Why even paint the line so far? The design is just odd. When the drive thru line is long and pours out onto the street, cars block others from passing through. That street already has too many cars parked on the road. Not worth it. When this location first opened, I would come here and they would constantly forget sauces but they have improved quite a bit. There is a drive-through that mostly everyone uses, but I would stay away if you are trying to eat here when they are busy. The way the parking lot is designed prevents people from coming into the lot if the drive-through line is long. read more

I just witnessed how fantastic this team works together during a slammed dinner rush. This team efficiently serviced a line of 12 people 10 of which were food delivery drivers each with 2 separate orders per person, along with two walk-in customers and maintain a drive- through line that went out the parking lot! I not only heard communication but saw non-verbal communication in action. This group of hard workers work well together and their choice of front line employees speaks of the quality of the operation that affects the great food coming out of this location. The only reason why this is not a 5-star rating is I believe there is always room for improvement. I suggest starting with improving the quality of the packaging. Bagging the plates in paper bags sideways is not customer service friendly for neither the food delivery person and ultimately the consumer who is our mutual customer. Other than that kudos! Can I just say I LOVE Panda Express! Their food is so good and everything tastes fresh . I was so happy to see that they opened this location! Now when I am craving it I don't have to drive too far from Schofield Barracks. And they have a drive thru!!!! Customer service here is always great, friendly, and quick (I don't usually go during lunch, so I'm not sure how quick it during those hours) . I love their noddles (chow mein) orange chicken and kung pao chicken. Their beef is good too and my husband like their teriyaki chicken. Still have not done anything about the drive through line. I wonder how many complaints come in. Blocking the street. Cant get into the parking lot to order inside. We reported this problem since the beginning. Anything being done The way that they re-built it was wrong. There was a KFC there before and the entrance and drive thru never clashed with each other before. You should see the line and traffic it creates on the side street and main street. You cant park inside bcuz the drive thru lane is the same lane. So i order to park and eat inside, you have to wait in the drive thru line which takes a long time. I am a frequent Panda Express customer but rarely visit the one in Wahiawa. After this visit I will NEVER go back to this location ever again. I placed my order to go (like always), gently placed it flat on the passenger seat on top of a towel just in case since I know take-out occasionally leaks a little bit, and drove home. 10 mins or less after leaving this PE, I went to pick up the food and the bottom of the bag had largely disintegrated, oil soaked all the way thru the beach towel onto the seat below, and it was still literally pouring out of the container when I picked it up and lifted it across the console and my lap before I realized what was happening. I put it back down and transferred the food into separate containers and the last photo is the amount of oil/sauce leftover even after the waterfalls of oil/sauce that had already poured out all over me/my car. I order this meal often at other locations and have never ever ever experienced this amount of mess. I have ordered soup from other Panda locations (and elsewhere) and have still never had a mess like this. On top of that, the greens were grayish and old and definitely not fresh. I took a few bites and ended up throwing the entire meal away due to frustration. Do not go to this location. This kind of thing does not happen at the other PE locations I visit. First time ordering through the app for curbside pickup and it was amazing and simple. I ordered the family pack which came with 2 sides and 3 entrees of your choice. I also ordered some vegetable egg rolls too. My husband picked it up and when he brought it home it was all still hot, fresh and ready to serve and eat. It also came with 5 settings of utensils and their famous(guilty that's all I wanted) fortune cookies. We ordered the pepper angus steak, chicken/string beans and honey walnut shrimp for our entrees and we had chow funn and chow mein for our sides including some leftover white rice from the night before. We will definitely be ordering from them again on our next family dinner take out. Portions were very big for the low price that we paid. Terrible service at the drive through. I was trying to order food for my boss and I, and the girl taking the order wanted to constantly interrupt me and ask if that was it for my order while I was still trying to order. When I was able to speak, I asked for a side of sauce and she said she would add it on. Low and behold, I get back to work and see that she didn't put it in the order. I get it, lunch can get busy, but whoever was working the drive through at lunch today needs to learn basic service skills and not rush people through the line. Only to discover the horror.... THE HORROR!!! What was this mess? Portions were LITTLE, food was GREASY, everything had the same AWFUL taste. No veggies in the chow mein, no green zucchini's in the chicken & mushrooms. Lacked color, everything was BROWN, even the orange chicken. I did a taste test & that was too much for my tummy to handle. I fed the rest to my dog & he didn't even eat it & he eats dog food. I'm very sensitive to MSG & their food has tons of it. This was the first time I tried this Panda Express since they opened. I was really impressed with the clean atmosphere. Very inviting and friendly service. The food was delicious too and the serving size was perfect. I love the new healthy choices of my starch being broccoli with kale and cabbage... I wasn't planning on eating in but walking in to order and seeing the layout made us want to sit down, relax and enjoy our meal... one of the cool things about this Panda is they have a drive through. Today I placed an online order to support a Fundraiser for a kids baseball team running a Panda Express Fundraiser. I ordered two bowls. One with chow fun and string bean and chicken breast. The other was chow fun and honey walnut shrimp. I know it was my fault for trusting the order would be correct. I should have opened each plate and check like I normally would, but I didn't. I got home and settled in to eat lunch. Both plates were the same chow fun noodles with string bean and chicken breast. So I called the location, they said they would replace my order, but I am not planning to go back to the location. So I asked if she can just credit me $1.50 for the honey walnut shrimp. She said, "sure, just bring my ID and the receipt in. I told her, "Can you somehow just credit my $1.50 without me going back there? Finally, she tells me it will take about 14 days to credit. I said, "fine". Just upset that with only two bowls, they could not get that right. read more

Brand new Panda Express drive thru. Service was great. Line of cars was crowded but it went by pretty fast. If you park along the wall it's hard to get out when the drive thru cars are waiting. I noticed 2 cars trying to leave and it took then a while to get out. Gave them 3 stars because I ordered 1 plate with 2 choices. Orange chicken and their new special steak and shrimp. Special was additional $1.50 I didn't mind the extra charge but when I got home realized I didn't even get 1 pcs of shrimp.
