Everything from our Food to the Service was great! They're very attentive and Food came out considerably quick!

This place really fell off since the last time I've been here. When I left for work over 10 years ago this was easily the best ramen in Mililani and a staple with my family and I. When we both tried it twice for lunch each time was a cliff dive from its former glory. For starters the noodles were so lightly portioned and only one fish cake and no chia siu was a fireable offense. Instead we all got tons of bean sprouts with no flavor in the broth that used to be thick and teeming with flavor. Now we never tried the bakery ever and I know it's the thing that gets great reviews today but still the food is the main draw for most and this is terrible. On top of that a combo that used to be 11 somehow became 20 over 5 years with no value added. I'll not be bringing my family here moving forward without some sort of improvement whatsoever. read more

The perfect place for indecisive eaters! I've come here 2x in the past month with my daughter and this truly is the best place for picky or indecisive eaters. The first time I got the ramen, gyoza & fried rice combo for only ~$15! What a deal! 5 pieces of gyoza, a mound of fried rice, & a mini shoyu ramen. My daughter loved the ramen, I enjoyed the gyoza and fried rice. We even had left overs to take home! They also have the CUTEST Hello Kitty bowls, cups, and spoons for kids. My daughter loved eating out of them. The 2nd time I got the curry katsu, gyoza, & ramen combo ($16.50). My daughter couldn't decide between ramen or curry so this combo was perfect! She ate some of both! Again, we had leftovers to take home. Service was quick! They also have a small bakery case at the front of the store with fresh breads and pastries. Breakfast from Nagoya Ramen... They have a spicy sauce for their Portuguese sausage that is different, a tad spicy in a good way. Today the employee said as she passed me the packaged order, the rice is very garlicky today. I told her, I love it! I got the hot dog with fried eggs for hubs and he questioned how come the 3 hot dogs, so much! Guess we will both have left overs. While waiting for the cooked to order breakfasts, the lingering aroma of their freshly baked breads, pastries and cookies filled the entrance of their shop. Their baked goods are soft and just the right amount of sweetness and/or filling. A true gem. read more

I really dont like doing reviews like these, but pls remember this is just the experience my family and I had. Tonite my husbabe wanted ramen and we decided not to cook dinner. We decided to try this place out since Ive never eaten here even with it being only a few mins away from home. Ive eaten their pastries and I must say those are delicious. Now for our dine in experience. Seems like take out was a little busy when we walked in, but were seated immediately, which was nice. To start, our waitress was rude. When asked for another minute as we were still looking at the menu, she literally looked at me with a disgusted look and said "what another minute", I let it go and replied "yes please, thank you". She comes back, takes our order, here is what we ordered: Mochiko Chix combo- Small bowl of ramen, fried rice, goyza, and a tiny order of mochiko chix: The mochiko chix looked like the left over scraps of literally 4/5 tiny pieces that were dry and semi burnt. the fried rice was "okay" and the ramen was okay, nothing really special What supposed to have been a Katsu Curry Combo with added Shrimp Tempura, ramen and goyza turned out to be just the Katsu Curry (our waitress put the order in wrong) so my husbabe never got his ramen (when he wanted ramen specifically) never got his goyza or his shrimp tempura Shoyu Ramen- my girl said it was okay, but a little strong on the shoyu flavor Mini Katsu plate: everyone got there meal and we waited about another 20 mins for this mini to come out. When saying excuse me to our waitress to see what was going on with the mini katsu when the table AFTER us got theres, she proceeded to turn around and literally yell at me saying "Yeeeeess" the whole restaurant looked over our way, it took everything in me to not walk up and leave. She was already being rude from the moment we got there, to taking our food order and drink order. The WHOLE time we were there she NEVER once checked on us to see if we were missing anything or needed anything and thats a BIG NO NO for me. It was a good thing we brought our own water cups inside. We were very disappointed in our food and service that we agreed we went, we ate and never again. We will stick to the morning pastries. read more

I love coming here, especially in the mornings to get warm, fresh out of the oven pastries. It's perfect for work meetings as each item is individually wrapped which makes it easy for staff to grab and go. The lady is always so nice and smiling. I have never asked her name, but she is very helpful. Sometimes it does get busy in the morning and staff are limited but because the service is so nice, I don't mind the wait. They acknowledge that you are waiting and apologize for making you wait. It's pretty small inside, but they do have dine in. During morning hours the tables are usually covered with the pans of fresh pastry. The worker will always give the fresh out of the oven pastry even if there are already some in the case. read more

Don't order the seafood fried udon!! It is the worst fried udon I've ever had. The seafood (3 pieces of shrimp, 1sliver of ika, 2 tiny pieces of scallops) was just boiled with no taste. The noodles were not "whole", it was broken/chopped into 1-11/2 inch pieces, tons of veggies (mostly cabbage), and only had a shoyu/salt taste. The one from Ramen Ya is 100% better. More seafood (including fish), noodles aren't broken up and it's way tastier than this one. The one from here is not worth the price. About the only good things I've eaten from here is the fried chicken wings and pastries. Won't come back here again, I can just stop by Ramen Ya in PC (it's on the way home). read more

No inside seating the area is closed off, friendly hostess at the front, busy restaurant for pick-up orders, sometimes there's a small line but they're fast so it goes by quickly and you aren't waiting long. Food is good and they give you a heart amount of food! Even though it was take out by the time we ate the food was still hot and warm. It was well out together and secured on the way home. They give you boxes tape them all down and secure plates, boxes, and bowls with rubber bands. Overall nice experience. read more

A Japanese name painted on the sign, but what lies inside is closer to a low-end kopitiam in Singapore or some faded Chinese-Malaysian café clinging to respectability. The ramen? Average. The buns? Questionable in origin and even more questionable in taste. You don't taste Japan, you taste shortcuts. Mystery meat hiding in a soft shell, ingredients that whisper not of quality but of corners cut. It has all the charm of a student cafeteria masquerading as a bakery. No seduction, no soul. Just flour and filler. If you hunger for the real Nagoya, keep walking. This is not it. Skip it, unless you delight in disappointment dressed as noodles and baked goods. I usually do Take out here but I decided to eat in. It wasn't too busy so the nice staff seated me right away, I already knew what I wanted, but I asked if I could have the Char Siu fried rice instead of white rice, which was a little up charge which I didn't mind paying. The meal comes with a small ramen which was very tasty and hot, perfect for this chilly morning. I also got a side of Croquettes, and 2 hotdog and cheese bread to go home which is my favorite. I was on my way back from Foodland next door to buy snacks for an outing with my granddaughter, when my eyes caught sight of the glass display cases, showing savory pastries! Okay, it was already 3:30 p.m. and hadn't eaten breakfast or lunch so I was hangry! I bought three pastries -- one with spam and cheese, a hot dog pastry and another meaty pastry. I ate the spam and cheese pastry, and the bread was so soft and moist that I could have eaten the bread alone. The spam and cheese made it so filling, that I gave the remaining two to my daughter and her boyfriend to eat while they were fresh. I know that the ramen dishes looked and smelled so yummy (and I love ramen!), but being able to dash in and out with delicious pastries made the day perfect. This review is for their BAKERY TREATS. While on my way to work this morning I stopped by to grab some of their delicious bakery treats for the office. OMG! They are absolutely delicious and humongous. Lol. I grabbed a savory & sweet and wasn't disappointed. I'm definitely coming back here to see what else they have to try. You can tell they are made fresh by the flavor and warmth. You can also see them packaging the pastries for people coming to pick-up. We usually buy the individually wrapped pastries, and frequent this place at least once or twice a week! The size of the pastries are substantial, and you can get them savory or sweet. If you go first thing in the morning, some are still warm and delicious. The bread is so fluffy and fresh! nice and buttery. I often notice them packing the pastries by the pans for pick-up orders. The friendly worker told me that a lot of baseball, soccer parents pre-order for the team. They like it since it is individually packaged. Mister ordered the breakfast plate recently, got the wrong order and didn't like it. (garlic fried rice with portuguese sausage eggs OE). He said the garlic fried rice was just okay, and the sausage was cooked in some kind of sauce. He waited quite a while too. But that won't stop us from returning. The workers are super nice! This review is specifically for *lunch*! You certainly get the most bang for your buck here! Decided to try this place after a quick look at the menu where we saw that their combos are only $14??! Some tables seemed to be used more as counter spaces and I had to squeeze by some awkwardly placed fans to get to my seat. Food came out as it was ready so we finished most of our ramen by the time the rest of the food was ready. Food was good, but not great. Overall, lacked flavor and was a little greasy. Mochiko chicken and ramen were the best in my opinion! Will likely be back again but take-out seems to be the better option for this place. read more

The Miso ramen was exceptional! The broth was incredibly rich and creamy without being greasy, and the noodles had a perfect, satisfying chewiness and sticky kine. The gyoza and karaage chicken was tender and flavorful. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made it a fantastic experience; because the staff member is very attentive they always come through and check up on you and they also noticed that we had children's with us and they're very nice part about this. Is they have plates and little tiny baby cups that they served for the kids and it was really nice because it was really engaging for them and the kids loved the children's plates. It was Peppa Pig and it was a hello Kitty cup for the kids and they really liked it. Kept him busy and kept him happy and we sat in the back facing the water tank, and then there were about three goldfish swimming inside the tank, so that alone with the kids allows them to divert their attention and watch the fish swim so it made the experience really really great. we'll definitely be back!" read more

This place seemed really popular when we walked in. A lot of folks were waiting for their to go orders and I was excited. My husband ordered the combo with ramen, fried rice and chicken but the only thing that was good was the chicken. Everything tasted so plain and rice was super dry. While he chowed down his food, they completely forgot about my order of seafood udon so I didn't get it till way later. I just asked them to wrap it up to go as I didn't feel like eating it after waiting so long. The baked goodies looked good but nothing there enticed me to try them. Ordered a pan of char siu fried rice for Mother's Day Pick up. It was ready when I got there at pick up time so kudos for that. The rice lacked flavor and had teeny tiny bits of something in it! A colleague brought in a box of pastries from Nagoya to the office and they were delicious! First of all, I like that each pastry was individually wrapped in a cello-bag - this is key during a pandemic! Secondly, the bread was super soft and tasted so fresh. The pastries were sweet, and not oily or dense. My only wish is that they would somehow label each package so that I knew what was inside before taking a bite (some are obvious, some not so much). I would love to visit the actual shop one day to try their ramen and to buy more pastries! read more

Nagoya Ramen is a bakery too! What a surprise?! I ordered a wonton ramen and comes with gyoza on side after 1:30 pm, plus spring rolls. I'm hungry running around Mililani today. I have to wait a bit and no dining in at this place. Even though bake items are pre-wrapped, you can't touch them. The clerk will grab them. They have some unique pastries I'm sure you'll like...check out some of the pictures! It was cold and rainy in Mililani. The spring rolls were Chinese vegetarian style...thick wrapping of rice noodles and cabbage? It was all right and needed dipping sauce for more flavor. The wonton ramen in miso soup was bland, but the wonton, lean pork slice, and fish cake gave it more flavor. The soup isn't seasoned...ask for shoyu if you want some salt. But gyoza was good and have more for leftover ramen. Barriers are up on counter, hand sanitizers, and masks are required. Did I tell you? Chinese run this place with Chinese restaurant next door. Nagoya Ramen has excellent service. The ladies always remember us very friendly. I love the mochiko chicken and my daughter always gets the katsu curry and ramen. Really our go to for a quick snack. I have never purchased lunch from here. Just their Coconut loaf bread, which is coconut and buttery heaven. So along with my bread, I got their Pork and Veggies stir fried noodles and my wife got the shrimp tempura Udon. I also ordered a side of Potato croquettes and I didn't realize it until I got home but they also gave us each a pack of 5 pieces of Gyoza. My plate was super filling. Zero stars for this place. My fiancé tried to call in an order, got put on hold for around 15 minutes so I decided to drive over to get the food. I drive from Wahiawa to the restaurant and tell the lady at the register that my fiancé has been on the phone for over 40 minutes. She checked the phone, hangs up, and she and another worker start laughing about the situation. To make matters worse the worker answers a call and takes an order before taking my order. Then proceeds to laugh again about my fiancé being left hanging. Yes, we could have hung up, but we wanted to see how long it'd take for them to notice. Bought the Seafood Crispy Noodle today which consisted of 3 small shrimp and some wonbok. I called to ask what was supposed to be in it and was told shrimp, scallops and squid. I informed them that there wasn't scallops or squid in the sauce and asked for a refund which they refused! The lady then informed me that she would give me more the next time I came in. I visit the Nagoya I. Ka makana Ali'i weekly since I work there. My usual is the chicken katsu ramen combo. It comes with katsu, ramen, gyoza and fried rice. I usually can't finish all of it so I have dinner too lol. All that for under $20. Their baked goodies are the best! So fresh and yummy. I love their Ensemada! Sometimes they sell out. Waitress is rude asf. She gives us literally 30 seconds to look over the menu. She didn't ask us how our food was. She didn't refill our water a single time. She blatantly coughed on our food multiple times. We asked for a couple boxes for our food and unfortunately there were roaches inside. When we told her about it she just clapped the boxes together to put the roaches on the floor. The pineapple custard bun is delectable! It was a great combination of crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. I did reheat the bun in the oven since I didn't eat it right away after buying it. But it certainly filled my craving for Hong Kong baked goods! read more
