If I could give 0 stars I would. Lied to my face and said they had no lo mein while in the drive thru. I had two friends on the inside of the restaurant and they were able to get it literally at the exact same time ...? Service was awful everyone was rude oh AND I forgot I waited in the drive thru for an HOUR. I don't mind waiting in line but when service is that bad it felt like a waste of my time. When I pulled up to pay a woman was standing at the window she told me they didn't have ANOTHER thing that I ordered. They often forget things you ordered, they forget sauces, silverware and I'm SURE much much more. Get better employees so your business doesn't suffer like it clearly already is!! read more

I placed an order online to avoid the long lines. My order was not done by the estimated time and my husband waited an additional 45 minutes for our order. We will never order again from the Round Lake location. read more

I had an uber eats pick up order, I had it set up to be ready for 5:30-6:00pm. I came in around 6:05 and the woman at the cash register addressed us like my boyfriend and I were clueless for being up there, asked us if we were trying to order food. I told her we had an uber eats pick up under my name, she said it'll be 8 minutes until the white rice was ready.. which was kinda strange because uber told me my order was ready 40 minutes ago. I don't question her because she's clearly bothered, so I wait. 8 minutes goes by and she does get the order ready, calls me up and said in a snappy tone have a good day as she was turning away, just felt like I did something to upset her. I understand they're at dinner hour and probably stressed out, but I wasn't being rude or impatient when asking about my order. I hate to leave reviews like this in the first place, but I was just so surprised it even happened. I'll be going to another location moving forward. read more

1.25 extra for the new Steak & Shrimp, only to get 2 pieces of shrimp & steak that tasted like rubber meaning it was probably frozen and again with all the extra onion. On top of that i ordered a medium Coke amd the girl handed it to me with the coke dripping down the sides of the cup while wrapped in a heap of napkins. Like that really had a difference! You'd think it would have killed to her wipe the damn cup down or at least pour some of the drink out. Not to mention the chow mein that was smothered in onions, which was nasty. Not happy at all tonight with my order. Half of it was nothing but onions that went in the trash! read more

they ran out of food had to remake it and took so long doing so sat there for over 30 min waiting... would not recommend

My first time here. I ordered at the drive thru. I did have to repeat the order to make sure it was right, but that is normal at a lot of drive thrus. The staff was friendly. My order was hot and correct when I got home. My orange chicken and my egg roll were the best. The broccoli beef had much more broccoli than beef which is a little disappointing, but it was still flavorful. I felt like it was a good value for the price. read more

Just got home from a very long wait for some so so food. Dont usually go to Panda but the family likes it so I went to get family. The young man said it would be a few minutes wait. It was almost a half hour! For fast food! Then they finally gave us the food in a bag that was too small and hot food fell out in my car! Not any offer to upgrade with fortune cookies or anything! Worst service ever! Really ! When someone says a few minutes it should be just that! Almost half hour is not a few minutes. Specific time should have been given . Not going back read more

Me and my family got Panda Express tonight. They completely got a order wrong and forgot one of our appetizers and my stepmother couldn't eat her food cause THEY FORGOT IT. I have to cut them some slack though, it was quite busy, but doesn't mean they can slack our order. But now my father has to go wait in a hour long line to pick up our missing food. read more

I would give this location a negative number if allowed. Needless to say we will never eat here again. A few months back I ordered a plate that had chicken and I ended up deathly ill (vomiting and diarrhea). Decided to try this location again, and now my husband became ill with the same. Then to top it off, I was talking to a neighbor who by chance ordered from the same location on the same night and her and my husband had the same thing (Beijing Beef) and they both ended up sick. Before the neighbor knew about our experience she ate the left overs of the Beijing Beef her husband had the night before and she became ill. Not to mention she told me that a while back, she found worms in her food. How disgusting. I did contact corporate and they "will look into it". My advice is to stay away from this location, unless you like being sick and like missing work. read more

Spent extra to get sirloin with asparagus only to get all the nasty part of the asparagus. Extremely disappointed.

Worst store in chain. Adolescent management horrible customer service. Food terrible if they even have what you want i.e. Fried rice? Don't bother stopping in unless You enjoy bad device with cold tasteless I think it's Chicken and broccoli !!!!!!!!! Vomit on a plate read more

I ordered the bigger plate which comes with 3 entrees and I only got two and I was missing the orange chicken which was pretty much the whole reason I went there. I don't care about the 15 minute wait in the drive thru because I understand places get busy but I'd at least like my order right. read more

Lately every time I go to this Panda Express I have to wait at least 15 min in the drive thru for my food. The other night I stopped in my way home and ordered a bowl with mixed veggies and green bean chicken. The person who took my order said everything was ok and to proceed to the window. There were a few people in front of me so it's normal to wait 5 min to get to the window. However once I got to the window I sat there for at least 10 min before the guy opened the window and took my payment. He was standing at the register and I could see him but he refused to acknowledge me. He didn't say anything about why the food was taking so long. If they were out of something and had to make more then he should have told me. I like the food from this location but too often I have been stuck waiting for 15+ minutes in the drive thru with no explanation. I think I'm done with this location. read more

If I could give this place no stars, I'd do so. First and probably only time ever coming here. I ordered online and arrived and the order was not ready. The server made the bowls with little to no chicken and when I asked why it was so skimpy she just gave me a small entree. read more

Omg! Never had this much trouble placing order with any drive through business as I have had with this one. Everytime I drive up they manage to forget part of order and before I bring it up to their attention they are already gone and now I am faced with a closed window. When you walk in, you would think the service would be better but nope. It is worst. Only reason I come here because of my 3 yr old who enjoys panda express noodles. If they don't get their act together I will boycott or just drive out of my way to get some panda. They are not the only businesses in town. When I asked for their owner / managers number they told me " its on the recite" we don't know the owner. Then they asked Wht our problem was. Poor poor service. Poor poor attitude. Never again. read more

Never eating here again!! My wife and I ordered the fried noodles and Shanghai beef. To our dissatisfaction the noodles were horribly undercooked and the texture was like chewing on silly string foam. I brought the plates back up and informed the serving staff that the noodles were undercooked and asked if we could exchange with the fried rice instead. The staff member apologized quickly and to my horror took the noodles from which I tasted and placed them back into their serving bowl. As she began to do the same for my wife's plate a new customer had arrived and ordered, yes you guessed it, fried noodles from a different staff member who had watched the previous occur with no surprise or disgust. This other staff member then immediately grabbed the wad of foamy noodles from my plate that were now on the top of the serving bowl and placed them on the new customer's plate without a second thought. Quite a few health Laws were broken here today. Long story short: The food here is not safe for human consumption as the food you are given could quite literally have just come from a stranger's mouth! read more

I've been going to this location ever since its been opened (mostly drive-thru). But for some reason, they always mess up at least one of my orders! Something is always missing. I always feel rushed there and the employees are sometimes rude. But other than that, the food is the same as all the Panda Expresses in the area. This place is either a hit or miss. read more

For a fast food chain, the food is actually pretty good. It is not real Chinese food but it is pretty good "white Chinese food". Made fast and decent and not expensive at all. For people who are sick of all the fast food and want to try something different I would suggest this place. read more

Every time I go here, I ask myself "Why?" The orange chicken is always soggy and luke warm, when it should be hot and crispy. The zucchini in the kung pao is never fresh and is usually has some weird browning on it like it is has been sitting out too long. Customer service is also severely lacking as well. This place could really benefit from some new management. read more

This Panda Express measures your food portions unlike the others. If you order the bowl the rice will be half full and the main course will hardly cover the top. If you complain to the woman manager you get a non response. read more

My friend went her earlier today and she ordered a bowl with some sauce and they gave her old noodles and the lettuce in it was old and the wrong sauce when I got off work I went there I got the same thing and they gave me very little noodles and they were bad and the lettuce in it was gross and they also gave me the wrong sauce again I usually have good experience with them today was not good at all read more

I can't say that I have had trouble with this restaurants like these other yelpers, as a matter of fact I've had a completely different experience! I've always been very satisfied with the food here... Keep in mind this is a chain restaurant not an authentic Chinese restaurant so you are going to get Americanized Chinese food! (Which I love) my food has always been fresh and cooked properly (not over or under cooked) and I've been here A LOT!! I have never gone through the drive thru so I can't speak on that... I can say however, that this last time I went to the restaurant I was in line for about 20 mins... However it was a Friday night and the line was out the door, so I expected to wait!! The employees have always been very pleasant to us! I really like this restaurant and my husband and I probably come here about 2-3 times a month!! Oh and the new Honey sesame chicken is awesome! read more

RUDE drive thru cashier, Danny. Told me there was no small sized side of fried rice available when I'd had it several times before. Missed my hand with my change and most of it wound up in the drive thru lane. Had there not been a line behind me, I would have retrieved my change. Danny did not offer to replace what he essentially threw at me and expected me to catch. Someone obviously does not want to be at work tonight. Will not be returning. read more

I always have very nice experience here. Quick and attentive service, if you need to wait more than a couple of minutes for the dish to be prepared they will let you know. VERY generous portions... I am a regular here. Love it, especially family feast take away :) our usual read more

Came at 11:14 to get me a bowl. I got orange chicken and chow mein. Terrible the chowmein taste like cinnamon. The orange chicken was cold. I am a regular costumer that goes for dinner all the time. Place is terrible as far as getting orders done. The wait time to get food is anywhere from 15-45 minutes

When I'm tired of McDonalds and Arby's, I'll end up here. Typical mall-type fare; all the flavors run together, so I don't know why they even bother calling them different entrees. Servings are plentiful, so at least you won't leave hungry. read more

One of the worst experiences I had in a restaurant!! First of all they said it was going to be 5 minutes for teriyaki, I waited 20 minutes. Then I drove home and I had the completely wrong order absolutely nothing was right! Then I went back to the restaurant NO ONE APOLOGIZED AND SAID THAT I HAD TO WAIT 5 MORE MINUTES!!! So me being patient I said it was cool then it was another 25 minutes like what the actual fuck??? 20 minute over time! The employees were very disrespectful and mean. Hate this panda never going there again! While waiting 3 other people came back saying they messed up their order???? Like how ???????? read more

Worst service I have ever had. Was told to wait and they would have fried rice in five minutes. Waited at and by check out and just got ignored. Asked two times about it and then sat down. After fifteen minutes and having to wait in a long line again they lost my order. Made a new order and guess what they were out of something else on my order. Just wanted to leave but I had my family of five with me. read more

I only gave one star because i do love the food on the other hand everytime i come to the Round Lake panda express the customer service is horrible. they wait on people that are behind you in line and really dont show that they care about what you want. i thought this was just one time maybe two times but everytime i go there so really dont like going there. Its too bad cause i love the food . I will come again and see if it changes but would not recoment going there to eat. read more

After waiting in the drive-through line for 10 minutes at the window none of the workers inside would even glance my way. Had to go somewhere else because I'm so annoyed and hungry! I'm giving a three star just because the food is good and I've had good service there before. They need an adult in charge who has Some knowledge of customer service. read more

Rude, they were out of the first thing I tried to order, picked something else and they were out of that, tried a third time and finally got my order in. Waited at the drive through window for 10 minutes before they even acknowledged that I was there. Terrible customer service. I love Panda Express but if you are looking for quality food and quality service, go to Gurnee because the food was nasty! read more

Me and my boyfriend were looking for a late dinner and we haven't had panda in awhile, so we decided to stop here. We've never had any complaints and always loved the food. However tonight the food was disgusting. It was at around 9pm, so I'm not sure if they were getting rid of old food but it was not even tolerable. It tasted like it was scraped off the side of a dish that had been sitting for hours. Don't know if I can come back to this location from now on. Food should always be somewhat fresh! Atleast tolerable to eat. Sorry but I don't think we will be returning :( read more

Put me on wait in at the driv-thru window for TEN minutes. Not even a joke, I thought maybe they had forgotten and said "hello" and they instead of responding, put elevator music on me. I drove off and left. What assholes. read more

A young man by the name of Danny (Daniel T) treated us very well. This was our first time at Panda Express, so it took us a while to get familiar with the menu and get our order straight. He was very helpful in suggesting alternatives and/or clarifying unfamiliar options. He went over and beyond for us when he noticed that we ordered 2 chicken egg rolls, but there was only one left so he gave us complimentary drinks and a wonderful smile throughout the ordering process. His overall demeanor and bright smile made our night delightful. Going by this experience, we will definitely be Panda Express regulars and so is our whole household. We were greatly satisfied. Thanks Danny :-) read more

First time here, came around during the morning in drive thru and was not sure how to order, the person on drive thru, Hallie, helped me order and even put a menu in the bag for me to take home. Asked me if I would like any sauces or chopsticks, and said yes to both. Amazingly kind employee, clearly knows what she's doing and is patient with the customer. Even told me to have a great day!
