The panda express on Rollins road in round lake is terrible. Very slow service. They are always out of items. The last three times I ordered on the mobile app they messed up the orders. read more

Worst service ever, lobby closed very often, 20 minutes in drive thru making line for pick up an order made in line. Ridiculous!

Rude staff, always out of everything and they don't give you the option to wait for more. We were so flustered trying to repick our meal quickly we totally forgot to get our drinks. When we asked at the window to add them she sharply snapped "no. We don't add things at the window." I thought it was because ADDING was the problem so I asked if we could just pay for it in a separate order and she snapped NO. the food was terrible. Chicken was burned and the rice was crunchy from being undercooked. Never going back again. read more

Seriously, are all panda expresses so trashy with shit for customer service? Or just this one? Every single visit I've had issues. Staff is slow, rude, and careless. I was served undercooked teriyaki 3 weeks ago. The worker didn't even clean or sanitize the new cutting board she used (EW!) we've been served inaccurate portions. No more panda in this house! THEY NEED NEW MANAGEMENT OR A NEW TEAM! And definitely sanitation classes. Tonight I was sent to park from the drive thru (they weren't even busy) and waited 20 minutes without a worker coming out. I had to go inside and ask about my order. Their excuse was that they were waiting on veggies... there was a whole pot of vegetables! Will not waste my money on a place that continually messes up my orders and don't give a shit. read more

this panda express is terrible and it has even worse customer service. I have been there the past two times and then it's taking over 10 minutes just to get one thing that I ordered and the workers were not very nice to me and it just sat there while I waited for my food like they didn't know what was going on. I will never come back. read more

Visited the location yesterday at 815pm and was told this is all we have for the rest of the night. They were put of various things. 4 customers left behind me as they saw there was scraps. Let down as always Panda States there food is fresh and never empty.. and it was 815pm read more

They brought back online ordering. This has to be the worst place to order online. The past two times we ordered, my wife and I had to wait at least 25 minutes once we arrived for pickup. They didn't have the food we had ordered prepared. The manager here is nowhere to be found when we complained. I am writing corporate and letting them know how terrible our experiences have been, since writing the store directly gets us no response. So my wife just returned home with our order. The Kung Pao chicken had 2 tiny pieces of diced chicken in it and 23 chunks of zucchini, yes I counted. For the second time in a row we ordered soy sauce and chili sauce when placing our order, and received none. I am fed up with this location. read more

Ok service food is great a little slow but worth the wait to get fresh hot food that taste awesome.

A good place to get simple, chain store type Chinese food. There are times the wait staff can be a bit slow, but the food is generally fresh and not sitting around in the steamer pan and under the lights for a long period of time. Of cours it does not beat the personal touch of a sit down Chinese restaurant, but if your looking for something quick and have a craving for asian food, then Panda Express will satisfy your needs. Also, this is a great place for kids... they seem to like the food and you don't spend a fortune on the meal either. read more

Arrived at 3:30pm very unpleasant atmosphere inside store. Employee's were lazy and seem not care about mistreating each other in front guest. Hot table had no food inside dishes and limited with choices available. Total 5 people in front us waiting on food and 6 people behide us.Drive thur line seemed just as bad 6 cars deep. The young lady working the front counter also had a very snotty attitude and didn't seem to care that there was no food being prepared for people in the store read more

Waited in line for 10-15 minutes and only one customer was waited on. Limited staff and they only waited on drive ups and phone orders. Two if the staff joked back and forth on their head sets, while ignoring the inside customers. We won't be going back. read more

This store is CONSTANTLY running out of food. They ignore in-store customers in favor of the drive thru making the in-store people having to wait for more food to be cooked. They don't even acknowledge customers are waiting. They are rude and unfriendly. This happened the last 3 times I went there. They also put part of the order in a container waiting for the rest of the food to be cooked. The food in the container gets COLD. It was truly a terrible experience. read more

Zero stars,. I walked out of Panda Express, Round Lake Beach without purchasing food today. I don't know why I even tried. That store has the worst customer service of any place I have been. read more

I sent the feedback below directly to their corporate office. I decided to post on yelp (which i almost never do) because of the highly negative experience i had. I happned to take a look at some of the reviews on the Round Lake location and it looks like alot of customers experienced the same thing i did. STAY AWAY until they correct this tyrant of an employee that thinks she owns the building. I will repost when I hear back from the company. Post up if you had the same issue with your visit. (Corporate Complaint i filed) This is the second time i had this negative experience at the Rollins Road location in Round Lake Beach IL. Both times, the lobby doors were locked and there were no signs posted stating the lobby was closed. I proceeded to knock on the door and was ignored by a staff member inside that clearly saw and heard me. a few minutes later the new manager, Quin happened to be starting his shift and was also surprised that the front and side doors were closed. He wasnt sure why they were closed. I proceeded inside with Quin and found out the name of your asscociate that refused to acknowledge me when i was knocking on the door. Its name is Jazmine. She is the the same person that i dealt with several weeks before on the same issue. She exclaimed then that they were short staffed and had to close the lobby. This is costing your business money as it caused a bottleneck in service. In the meantime there were numerous cars waiting to be served. She said she would post a sign for next time and of course she didnt and thus here we are. Her attitude was very very very poor. She remarked that it was her store and that she was going to do what she wanted regardless of the customer. Her attitude oozed selfishness, no empathy for the customer and narcissistic behavior. She obviously cares only for herself and I'd be very interested to hear how her peers view her as well. Because of this second incident and Jazmin's attitude, we will not be patronizing any panda expresses and we will be telling others of our experience. read more

Went to panda at 11. The signs on the windows and doors said they opened at 10:30. When I got to the speaker to order I sat there for a good 5 minutes and nobody said anything to me. I went to the window and the girl that was working gave me a ton of attitude and said "we aren't open yet!" And she explained that everyone got there late and they had no food, but she was sitting on her ass doing nothing. For the managers at the round lake panda, maybe hire people that will actually get off their asses and open the store when they're supposed to. read more

They always forget teriyaki sauce. I will ask for teriyaki sauce when I order, at the window before they charge me, and after they hand me my bag I ask if they have me teriyaki sauce and when I check they always forget every single time I go. It's a surprise when I do get sauce after asking so many times. The parking situation is crazy you will get blocked in during rush hours. read more

I just went in & they had nothing DONE! I asked for steamed rice & it was out! the server Anna D told me it would be ready in 15 min so I was okay cool! I really wish I could give them 5/5 stars because I love Panda Express but today they messed up my dads order. I get it people make mistakes and they were really nice when I called them frustrated and let me come back and get a new plate with teriyaki chicken (which is missing in the picture) walnut shrimp and white rice. read more

Unfortunately we live very close to the Round Lake location, so when our kid asks for Panda Express, this one is closest to home. I can not count the times we order Teriyaki Chicken for him and guess what... THERE'S NO TERIYAKI SAUCE IN THE BAG! How do you serve Teriyaki Chicken with no sauce!? It's just grilled chicken at that point. We ordered it again tonight, and if we didn't ask for the sauce when we picked up our order, he wouldn't have gotten teriyaki sauce. Not to mention that this location seems to always be out of food. Today, before 8pm, NO sweet fire chicken, NO honey walnut shrimp, NO Beijing beef. I think we will have to start taking the time to drive to gurnee. Not sure if it's the staff or the management that's the problem. To top it off, their drive through is VERY SLOW. We thought they forgot us when we were ordering because we waited so long to order. It took us about 30 minutes from getting in line to getting our food. read more

I just walked out of the store. There were about five people working. Three of them were filling orders, two in the kitchen, and one person at the drive-through window. I waited patiently as a girl asked if she could take my order. I said I wanted super greens and we'll wait for fresh ones she did that and called it back to the kitchen. When they were ready, I told another worker that they were ready and asked if she could take my order she said hold on. Then another guy came up, and I asked if I could order.... He also asked me to wait. Then the original girl came back, and asked if I was ready to order. Then the guy stopped her and told her to fill a different order! I watched three people scoop out the super greens I've been waiting for all while I stood there waiting patiently for someone to take my order. As they emptied the bowl I decided this was not worth my time and the universe was telling me to just go home. I would not recommend Driving out to a store just to be ignored. If this business wants to prioritize it's called ahead and drive through options then why does it offer a walk up experience??? read more

This panda express normally fits my expectations but these past few days it has not. I went through the drive through and had ordered 3 orders of crab rangoon's (witch is 9 rangoons in total). They told us that we would have to wait a few minutes in the parking lot because the rangoons are not done. So we waited and when we got home we had noticed there was only 2 bags of rangoons. We called to let them know and they let us have 2 free orders of rangoons the next time we ordered. when we tried the next day. They would not answer the phone to give us the rangoons! read more

Never have I had such issues with a chinese restaurant before in my entire life. Whether I'm going through drive-thru or taking or dining out, I always find myself having an issue with something at this Panda Express. I have been here countless number of times but I am never returning. I wait in the drive-thru for 5-10 minutes (no joke, no exaggeration), food is always dry and over-cooked, the service is always awful and the employees working here are not friendly in any way. The young man that works the drive-thru on late nights is always miserable and disrespectful as ever and doesn't seem to care about anyone but himself. He doesn't rush at doing anything and he doesn't seem to have an issue with making his customers wait. I have never had any better than a bad experience when I did come to eat at this Panda Express because there is always something wrong. Prices aren't at all that great, food is dry and over-cooked and not to mention, the variety, it's very limited. The rice particularly is stale and hard every time I do decide to get rice and when I get the chow mien, it's greasier than non other. I do not recommend you come here.. I have been going elsewhere for chinese food (there are a ton of better places close by) that is better in price and quality. I just don't think this place is worth wasting your time or money. I never will eat here again. read more

Worst customer service ever. Waited at the drive thru speaker for almost five minutes before I said "hello" and was then told "hold on". Waited five more minutes and then said "did you forget about me waiting?". Response : "oh, how can I help you?". I order, only to be told what I wanted was out for the night even though the establishment didn't close for over an hour. I pull to the window, Quincy took my payment, walked over to box up my two orders of rangoons, set it down and then started doing something else for five minutes. He then walked to the window and proceeded to ask me for payment for the next cars order. I spent my entire 30 min lunch break waiting for two side orders of Rangoon's. Unacceptable. No professionalism, no organization. read more

If u come to this location word of advice check that your order is right especially if going thru the drivethru

Honestly the slowest moving drive through in lake county. Usually a hit or miss on food quality but always friendly service.

Always stingy with the portions tbh, gave me food poisoning in the morning. Terrible. The lady at the window was nice tho

28 minutes. That's how long it takes to get food here. The food itself takes only 3 minutes to assemble and cook, mind you, so it's a pretty amazing feat to extend the time of order to service to nearly a half an hour, but they managed to do it. When asked why it takes 28 minutes to be served food here, the manager stated "we're busy". Not "Sorry, we're busy" or anything resembling an apology. Just "we're busy". If they can't apologize or justify why it takes 28 minutes to get food, I can't justify ever going there again. read more

When you're flying solo + baby, drive-thru is priceless. Drive thru Panda Express? How awesome! I sure don't want to pull a sleeping baby out of the car if I don't have to, and I am NOT doing McDonald's or Booger King. I need my veggies, not greasy French fries.... [Speaking of booger, did you see the South Park about Yelp yet? At least YouTube the Yelp song they did. Just search South Park Yelp.] I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday at noon and found the food to be yummy. The service was pretty good too for a drive thru window. I added a drink at the window so the girl went to go get it. It took her a couple minutes and someone else came to the window to make sure I was being helped. I can't say that's ever happened while waiting at a drive-thru window. Good job! If I could just find a pizza drive-thru I'll never cook again! read more

As Panda Express goes, the food is always what it is, great for fast food...hence the 2 stars, not one. That's where the good ends. They have drive-through service, which is slower than any other drive-through I have ever been in. It would probably be faster if I went into the restaurant and cook the food myself. I have never pulled up to the drive-through and not been asked to wait a few minutes by someone with very few manners. I have come 30 minutes before the restaurant closes to be told they will not make more orange chicken for me. I have gotten all the way home and had completely incorrect food only to have to turn around and drive all the way back and not even be offered a coupon for next time. I have dealt with both managers and regular employees who act like I am wasting their time. They almost never have all of the food items I want to order ready and are never apologetic. Maybe management needs to look into hiring more appreciative and productive employees. read more

Horrible customer service at this location. I'm constantly having to wait for food, even at busy times like lunch. Why is chow mien not ready at noon? No other cars in front of me to order but i end up waiting 15 min for my order. And zero apology from the staff. Sad to see customer service is at the bottom of this company's list read more

Went to Panda Express in round lake, hours online and on the windows says it opens at 10:30. Typical Chinese Fast Food. However if you're allergic to anything you better stress it extremely strongly to them because they don't listen. Another downfall is they give you very little meal and a whole ton of rice underneath it. read more

I always have a pleasant time coming here. The staff has always been friendly and super on point. The food has never tasted bad to me. The staff is always fast and nice when serving me. I have never EVER in my life given a one star review to a food place, and i genuinely never thought this day would come. but i placed a mobile order on 1/6/21 at 3:45ish about 30 minute prior to arrival. i got to the store and they said they had no order with my name on it. they asked for my last name and then somehow found a sticker for it. the food wasn't even ready which kind of defeats the entire purpose of a mobile order. plus you had to wait in line with everyone else that was ordering to even pick your order up, unlike most where they have it sitting off on the side for you to just grab. they made me food and said they were "out of white rice" and they were just going to give me fried rice (which i don't care for). i told them i didn't care for the fried rice and then they magically found some white rice. huh. funny how that works isn't it? the cashier said sorry and handed me my food and i left. i get home and before even taking a bite out of my food, i open it to a barely 3/4 full container. SERIOUSLY?!?!? not cool. i start eating and find multiple pieces of MUSHROOMS and ONIONS in my food, which shouldn't have any mushrooms or onions. it's orange chicken, white rice, and super greens. they also didn't provide plastic ware which literally every other panda express does. oh, and the parking lot is a hot mess but that's not the employees fault, just another flaw in this trash restaurant. save yourself the time, money, and random bits of food by going to the gurnee location. MUCH nicer people and way more sanitary there. read more
