I try and limit my fast food eating, but Panda Express is one of the spots that I don't mind going to occasionally when I am in a rush. I am a creature of habit when it comes to dining at this spot - I always go for their signature Orange Chicken, which I enjoy! I find their brown rice to be rather bland tasting - adding soy sauce only makes it marginally better. Usually though I just get an order of the Orange Chicken without a side. Service has always been fast at any location I have gone to. I like how you can sample one of the entree options if you are not sure about the taste - they hand you a toothpick with a piece of it on there, then you dispose of the toothpick in a marked tin can. One change I wish Panda Express would implement is for those that use forks/knives, they are next to the drink area and left for anyone to take. But they are not wrapped in plastic! Just from a "clean/sanitary" perspective, I wish their plastic utensils weren't just exposed like that. read more

I've been to this location a few times and it seems to go down hill a little bit more each time. Which is a shame I really do like Panda Express. I ordered two bowls. The first was Honey Walnut Shrimp over Fried rice and the second was Chicken Mushroom over noodles. There was no fried rice both bowls had noodles, I also ordered rangoon and they were over cooked to the point half the cream cheese was dried out in each one. There was a diet soda also order and it was regular soda. I was in a hurry and went through the drive through it was when I got to my location a few minutes later when I realized the order wasn't right. I hope that this was just an off day. read more

I stop here almost weekly for a quick meal for my son and myself. He always get the Teriyaki Chicken with white rice and I get a bowl with whatever protein seems appealing at the time. The food is generally good, but they often give my son fried rice when I specifically clarify that he wants white rice and make sure its on the screen before I go to the window. There is a blonde girl there that works the drive through window that is 100% of the time smiling and happy to help with anything. Visited on Saturday evening for dinner. Staff was very attentive, efficient, and friendly; was happy to offer us samples of each dish before we committed. Food was fresh; it's maintained in smaller containers so there is higher turnover (the cooks in the back were quick to refill with freshly cooked dishes)...Seemed nothing was left sitting around too long languishing. They didn't have the barbecue pork, which was the 1 thing I really wanted. Then they said it would take 3 more minutes to make fresh spring rolls...a really long time after waiting 15 minutes to order and that's in the drive through. I am surprised to read the negative reviews. We recently moved to Tampa from Los Angeles and have been disappointed by the lack of good Chinese food. Although Panda doesn't qualify as good Chinese food, whether in Cali or Florida, it is a good back-up when you need to satiate your Orange Chicken or chow mein craving. While it is odd that chain restaurants can differ in taste from location to location, this Panda outdoes the Panda in the Brandon mall. read more

I used to stop by this Panda Express at least once a week. I have never had a problem with their food or service until the other night. The girl that was taking orders seem very miserable and had the personality of a dead fish. I just happened to be observant on those kinds of things because I work with paying customers every day. The man that was in front of me seem happy and was trying to get the girl to crack a smile. She did not engage in any conversation with the guy and then moved on to me. When taking my order, I didn't even finish telling her what I wanted and was rudely interrupted with a question of "here or to go". What pissed me off was the fact that when she saw a group of ten coming through the door, she voiced her disgust and said she wished these people would stop coming in. After how I was poorly treated, I told her to cancel my order and told her that her attitude sucks. I wish these people who are hiring their help would take the time to see what is going on while the manager is not around. I would report this to her manager, but I feel nothing would be resolved. I am not asking for anything free from this place. Been in the customer service business for many years and I do understand the frustration of working during high volume hours, but if you don't like the job that was offered to you, then please, do us all a favor and seek employment elsewhere. read more

This is the worst Panda Express I've been to based of customer service. After waiting patiently for several minutes someone finally asked for my order, I asked for a sample of the orange chicken and the lady gave me one then walked away. At least 2 minutes go by and another person asks if I've been helped. I simply ask for a small order of the chicken and she boxes it up and slides it down to the lady at the register who walks away and go about doing other things. Another few minutes go by and someone asks which order is mine and I say the small order right there and she puts it in a bag with someone else's order then again walks away LOL. She comes back and begins to hand someone their order that has my small chicken in it. Finally fed up I tell them my order is in that bag and to get it out and ring me up immediately. How can so many workers be so oblivious to how long I was waiting. Absolutely ridiculous. Total ordeal took easily 10 mins for a miniature order of chicken. read more
