Jessica, the sweetest employee taking orders through the drive-thru, was very accommodating for us. I had just placed a mobile order using the fundraiser code seconds before I entered the drive thru and she made sure the food was prepared by the time we reached the window. Came to panda express for dinner. It was a little busy for being an 8 PM but the inside didn't have a lot of people sitting. When we came up to order most of the dishes, didn't look very fresh except the orange chicken so we ended up going with that. We also tried their new spicy beef and shrimp. That was pretty good. I am so disappointed to see how Panda Express has gone down. I went through the driver thru. Was asked to park along with 7 others cars they had already parked. I was told I was waiting on Chow Mein. We sat there waiting 20 mins, then you could see people getting out their car and going in to check on their order. When I went in there was a lady and her family who went in to eat inside which were leaving because they had waited so long and no one had taken their order. Now on-top of this ridiculous wait when I opened the carton I immediately smelled the food was burnt! Very very disappointed. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to grab an online order after getting notified that its was done. Pulling up, I saw the store was getting hammered with significant lines at the counter and pickup areas. After checking in, I just sat back and watched for 20-30 mins. The facility was very clean and the food looked great. The employees handled the rush well, despite the online ordering system apparently being set to notify customers based on a set time rather than actual order completion. Most everyone kept their tempers and we all got our food after a reasonable wait. In spite of the wait, my order was prepared well and made it home still warm. Five stars for the management and employees! Panda Express is definitely 100% box store food, but their process ensures consistency and this location is well staffed--an anomaly in these times. There is ample inside seating, but we were planning to grab & go and take it home to enjoy. This location does have a drive-thru window. It was difficult to choose from the many appealing and freshly-made offerings. Not only were all the stainless steel bins brimming with delicious-looking food, they also looked like they were fresh out of the wok. All the vegetables in the dishes were cooked to crisp-tender, not limp. The meats looked lean and were coated with the right amount of sauces. We chose "bowls", with rice in the bottom. I got the Chicken Teriyaki, with the nicely-charred, yet tender breast meat over Fried Rice. It was divine! My dining partner chose Orange Chicken Bowl with Fried Rice. The bathrooms smell nice and clean, the prices are pretty cheap and the food is nice; it's always fresh and if there's none of what you wanted they'll make it all fresh for you! This is my go to for Chinese. I am yet to be disappointed by this location, hopefully that never happens. I will admit I am not adventures with the menu. I always get the teriyaki chicken, every time. If it's not broke , don't fix it You get a ton of food for a decent prices I am always full and generally have left overs. The customer service is on point here. The cashiers multi task between drive thru and front counter seamlessly. I believe they have an app you can order from, but I don't see the need they are normally very quick. Now, here's one right outside Targbort, ready to fill you up with mall chinese food. The food is generally higher-quality and the choices are pretty decent. Everyone while we were there was friendly too. It can get a little pricey for what you're getting though, so adjust your budget accordingly. They have a drive-thru, but with places like this, I like to see what I'm getting. Today I stop to eat at 11:15 to find all doors locked but there are customers inside. After looking inside to make sure something nefarious isn't happening, a customer gets up to let me in - not a staff member. Once inside I notice "Cassidy" walk up with a tool to unlock the doors. Then my husband goes to pick it up and they keep telling him they don't have they order . He literally had to look through the orders to find ours. I have never had issues with Panda in all the years I have been coming here. However tonight was just horrible. They actually burnt the fried rice. You can see charned eggs in it and cant gey past the burnt smell. I went up to the server and let them know and they kept serving it to everyone. Other customers around us were complainibg it about it to themselves but not sure if anyobe else bothered to complain. Two of them just threw it out and left. We decided to grab an early dinner through a drive thru and wanted to try Panda. My husband and I both ordered the teriyaki bowl with steamed white rice & the crab Rangoon. My food was edible, but not very tasty. The chicken was warm and not hot. You can obviously tell it had been sitting in a pan for awhile. The rice was honestly my favorite part of the meal. Let's move on to the crab Rangoon. These had been previously cooked and warmed because they were chewy and dry. The crab part was less than a teaspoon, I felt like I was eating mostly the Wrap part. I was really excited when I found a Panda Express was coming to Riverview. For a long time I was stuck driving to the Brandon Mall or up 60 to have some tasty Orange Chicken, but finally Panda Express was going to be less then a mile away. When it arrived, I went frequently, sometimes ordering double or triple Orange Chicken, usually on my way to an appointment somewhere. At first the taste was great, but then they started to burn the chicken or cook it wrong and the flavor started to go. I decided to experiment with other things on the menu but everything I tried was pretty awful. Service was pretty decent and workers are usually helpful. However, with the lost of taste I guess I'll be checking out the food courts of Tampa Malls to try and get some tasty Orange Chicken. read more

I saw this open up pretty close to the house, have not eaten in a Panda Express since I lived in California (it was in the food court where I went to college and worked). But this place had a drive through and I am always skeptical when ordering Chinese through a drive through so I went in. The inside is nice and spacious and it started to go downhill. I grabbed a combo place with orange chicken, broccoli beef, and kung pao chicken and chow main for a side. The chicken was overcooked, the kung pao chicken was cold on the inside and over spiced on the outside, but the broccoli beef was okay. The chow main was so greasy I thought I got a lube job while I grabbed a quick bite. When I was in college this is okay, but now I am older I feel my arteries hardening. Really disappointed in this Panda Express!!! We went through drive through this evening and got our order messed up.... Not only that they give you a REALLY small portion of entrees. Only got about 5 pieces of orange chicken on my plate... And for Beef and Broccoli don't expect much meat... It was only two pieces, and bunch of greens. I think this medium was executed better at the food courts at your local mall, It was more of new idea to offer Chinese food at the food court and a treat to have something over the typical fare. The food is overpriced for the portions they give you, more importantly they can't compete with a good quality Chinese restaurant.
