We ordered the orange chicken, which was perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. The beef and broccoli had a little more broccoli than beef, but there was still enough beef and great flavor. We also got the chicken fried rice with no vegetables, vegetable chow mein, and the beef egg foo yong with a side of steamed rice. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. And the portions are hearty! It's comforting to come back to a place that's been consistent for so many years. Golden China continues to deliver quality food and keeps me coming back every time.

The pork buns had a subtle sweet and tender meat and the bun itself was fluffy. The lan fried dumplings didn't taste pan fried, they tasted deep fried and were a little too crispy. The filling was tender as had a lot of meat. The Xiao long bao had a nice amount of broth in them but the flavor was a little subtle. The shao mai are huge. They're almost too big and there's so much meat. I would enjoy a little more dumpling dough. The house special fried rice was amazing. The rice was moist, the meats were cooked perfectly, and it was aromatic with a nice umami flavor. My favorite item of the evening was the house special fish. The glaze in this lightly breaded fish was amazing. It gave a little sweet, a little savory, a little spicy. It was cooked with onions and mushrooms. I will come back just for this. The service was great. We were seated immediately and they bring the food out as they prepare it. The ambiance is casual. They have a small dining area near the counter to order and a larger area off to the side. They offer booth and table seating and can accommodate a larger area off party. Give them a try if in the Fontana area.

Sometimes it's on point, crispy, juicy and slightly spicy and other times, it's just sitting in the warmers all warmed out. Now the hubster is a Chinese food connoisseur and eats here at lest at one time per week. Me, not so much. I've eaten there one time in the year that we lived out here. Ambiance? There is space for inside seating, no outside seating and the bathrooms were clean. This was my first time here and the lady was so happy and sweet I really appreciated her bubbly attitude. For entrees we tried the orange chicken (regular not spicy), beef and broccoli, coconut shrimp, BBQ pork, and a small side of the teriyaki chicken. The food tasted good no complaints, I would definitely come here again. Definitely a good choice in Fontana.

Out of all the meats, my favorite was the beef and broccoli. It was cooked perfectly, and the broccoli was very soft and easy to chew. My second favorite item was the walnut shrimp. The staff were extremely polite and patient, especially since it was my first time trying their food. The restaurant is very clean inside and offers plenty of seating.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had…read more I ordered three combo plates. The first plate was half chow mein and half fried rice with broccoli beef and mushroom chicken. The mushroom chicken barely had any mushrooms in it. When I mentioned it to the employee, she laughed and said there was only one mushroom left instead of offering a fresh batch that actually contained mushrooms. The second plate included Kung Pao chicken and mushroom chicken. Once again, there were virtually no mushrooms, and the Kung Pao chicken tasted awful. The third plate had teriyaki chicken and orange chicken. Overall, the portions were very small for the price, especially compared to other Chinese food restaurants. The chow mein was soggy and tasted old. I noticed they keep large amounts sitting in crockpots ready to be served, which may explain the texture. The fried rice was hard, dry, and far from fresh or fluffy. After tasting the food, I found it completely inedible. I felt bad because the employee helping me was very kind, but I had to request a refund. While waiting for the refund, I noticed a large water bug crawling on the counter near the food preparation area. When I pointed it out, it was brushed off as if nothing was there. I even offered to move a flower pot outside to prevent bugs from getting onto the counter, but it was simply placed near the sink instead. I only received a partial refund, but at that point I was ready to leave. Between the poor food quality, high prices, lack of concern about the bug, and overall experience, I would not return or recommend this restaurant.

The lady that helped me at the counter was very nice and quick on the orders. Pros of eating here, the prices are super cheap compared to places like Panda Express, which I like the food here much better. It's like a more mom and pop Panda Express. They also overstuff the box until it nearly breaks, very generous with what they give. The boba here was only $4, so I thought why not? Best choice. The boba was actually super chewy, but the drink was pretty sweet and we can't adjust it. I think it would've been perfect if I poured some more milk into it to dilute it. Food wise, I'm thankful they have less oil than what I'm used to, but the flavor is also lacking as well. When they offer sauce, take it. But in a way, it also means you're not ingesting as much sodium if it's a health problem you're concerned about. Would go here again just for the boba
