We went through the drive through this evening. It was about 9:10 when we got in line with 4 cars in front of us. Knowing they close at 9:30, I thought we were good. My window was down as I overheard the man in front of us order a couple plates and a bowl with no issue. I pulled up to the speaker and waited for a few minutes before an employee came on. I started ordering and was quickly interrupted by the employee "We're out of orange chicken." I said "Completely?" The employee was super snarky. "Yes ma'am. We're out of almost everything. If I had it I would sell it to you but I don't." I tried to ask about another item which seemed to push him over the edge. He yelled back, "We are out of food and we close in 8 minutes." Yikes. My rating for this location has fallen dramatically since my opening day experience. Although the dining area remains clean and fairly new, the service during my latest experience was slow (15-minute wait to start up the teriyaki chicken grill 30 min after open), somber and incorrect (I ordered fried rice but received white rice), but somewhat helpful. Also, the broccoli and beef entrée was about 85% broccoli. Other nearby locations are better than this cost cutting location. read more

This Panda Express location is newer (I believe ~1 year or so) and is closest to my apartment. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have had not had that experience, and I've been here many times. I probably frequent twice a month or so. I always order ahead for to-go on the app (always use the app for points / upgrades etc). I've had mostly positive brief encounters with staff. All of my last few visits have been positive. My favorites to order are the chow mein with orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. The teriyaki chicken and super greens is a great quick healthier option. read more

I truly have never liked going to this panda express since it opened. I have always gotten the chow mein with orange chicken. The orange chicken is " tolerable" sometimes.. sometimes very chewy and not cooked correctly. Now to the chow mein. i have a picture to prove this.. why is it that there are so many veggies in the chow mein? I could literally, with the picture I have, fill up an entire bowl (even though i get a plate) of just veggies. it feels like i get the very bottom of the bottom. There are also chunks of onion/celery that are the size of a golf ball. I have tried this place three times with my wife and I keep thinking the next time will be better. PLEASE stop mixing so many veggies with the chow mein. a little goes a long way. read more

I ordered online for drive-thru pick up. The staff was very friendly during that process. The food was ready quickly, but I was disappointed with the food items. I ordered a small portion of Beijing Beef and a chicken egg roll. While I don't eat at Panda Express a lot, I have been a fan of Beijing Beef for several years. I don't know if the change is a corporate change or a local preparation variable, but the pieces of meat were tiny pieces, almost like leftover scraps. I suppose they could have been the bottom of the "wok" but something the employee said to me (I can't remember the wording now) gave me the impression they were making a new batch to fill my order, but I could have misunderstood. The egg roll preparation was also disappointing as it happened to be one that split open during some part of the process so it had ruptured and caused the filling to burn around most of the outside of the "wrapper" giving it a really unpleasant flavor due to the charring of the cabbage and other fillings. I used an app voucher that provided a pretty good discount or I would have been really upset about the price I'd paid for a tiny, tiny portion of meat scraps and a burned egg roll. I've been excited for this location to open, since it's now one of the closest drive-thrus by our home, but for the price and the disappointing food, I think I'll stick to Taco Bell across the street most days. read more

I could stand there for 15 minutes without anyone helping me. People on their phones in the back just staring at you. it isn't even a new location anymore. there isn't really an excuse for the poor service. there is always something wrong with the order if you use the drive through. and just now I got one piece of chicken in my order. I can't go here anymore. never again. only thing it has going for it is that it's close by. An actual takeout Chinese restaurant is the same price. So I'm done with this place read more

I go to this location every time I'm in Overland Park, it's very convenient. My order is almost always perfect and the food tastes great

I got a bowl with noodles and beef. the ENTIRE bowl was full of the cabbage and veggies and maybe a few noodles here and there. this was the 3rd time I gave this place a chance and now I know it's not by mistake. the food was not good. the guy that served me was an older gentleman. he works the drive thru and the food line. he was the one to make my bowl. Food is fine. I've been to this location around 5 times since opening, and they have forgotten my fortune cookie 3 out the 5 times. I'm also tired of them having no crab rangoon.
