If you want a quick meal for lunch, you can't go wrong with Panda Express.. Depending on the time of day, depends on the service. Around lunch time and when they open I think you will get better service, than at night time. Night time seems to be when the service "unravels" Again, it's a place to get your Chinese food fix.. I normally get the mushroom chicken, and teriyaki chicken which is pretty good, with a side of there fried rice. I'll be back, but only when I'm lazy and don't want to cook. Hair in food ? Great place to go if you love 20 to 30 minute waits. If you like hair in your food, this is the place to visit. Twice we have gone and they have shorted us meals in the drive thru. This Panda, across the street from Tinker AFB, is probably the best American-style Chinese-buffet/take out-style food option there is for those of us in the Mid/Del area of OKC, whether or not you think that is sad is up to you :)...we like it, though. Its a good lunch spot, and we sometimes head over for dinner when we're in the mood for Chinese. It always tastes fresh, the service is good for Fast Casual, and I could eat the Orange Chicken every day for a year and not get tired of it. Forget the other Chinese Buffets in the area (especially Golden Palace *HURL*), and check out the Panda when you're in the mood for some cheap Asian/Chinese/whatever you want to call it/pretty good Chinese food :) ~$15ish for two people, lunch or dinner. Two years ago I almost died after eating shrimp from this restaurant or lettuce from Wal-mart. I spent 2 months in and out of the hospital with e-coli and then c-diff. It was at the time that all of the people were dying around the world from eating bad food. I worked with the state health department and we narrowed it down to either lettuce from Wal-mart or shrimp from panda express. I lost 25 pounds in a week and had a temperature of almost 105. It was a bad time for me and in between hospitalization I called the manager of the store before reporting it to the state health department and he was defensive and lacked any sort of empathy, claiming that it wasn't his food. On the day that I got sick, I had bought trees for my husband for our anniversary. I had eaten the shrimp around an hour or two before and then went outside to help him plant. I had to leave him to do the work several times because I kept getting sick and it got worse from there. Tornado alarms went off and our shelter was filled with people, but I had to lie down. I couldn't even stand up or even sit up straight because of the severe cramps. When my fever got over 104, I finally had my husband take me to the emergency room. It was bad. Since then quit shopping at Wal-mart and I haven't eaten at Panda Express, even though we were regulars. What bothered me the most and why I felt the need to write this review is because of my recent experience of salmanella from another Chinese restaurant and the lack of empathy from the manager at Panda Express. read more

Went to the location in Midwest City and was very disappointed with the service. I tried going through the drive thru because I was taking a break from my classes and needed something quick but was rudely told the drive thru wasn't available, and when I went inside to order the staff was incredibly negligent and insistently huffed and puffed as I was ordering. Food is ok. What you would expect from fast food chinese. Manager on duty would benefit from a customer service seminar and/or corporate training. I eat there fairly often, always placing my order on-line and picking up inside. Upon picking up my order, the worker informed me the no longer offer the sweetfire chicken breast. Ok, not a big deal, I wanted to let her know its still on the website. She offered me something else, which was fine. She then told the person I presumed was in charge (younger female in black uniform). The manager looked right at me and told the worker "well, there is nothing I can do about that". really? I've only recently started eating Panda Express but I've never had any type of problem at any other locations besides this one. It started as they would never put soy sauce in the bag and I get fried rice as my side. Even when I would ask for some they would put chili sauce or something else in there besides soy sauce. My boyfriend and I went about a month ago and ordered and they were out of everything almost and it was barely 2p.m. He got a large Dr. Pepper and she gave him a small or medium but charged for the large. So we got back in line behind 3 or 4 cars, because the lobby is closed due to Covid-19, and when we got to the window she asked to see the receipt and was kind of rude like she thought we were trying to scam her. Then she said they were out of Dr. Pepper now and he got a large Pepsi instead. Also, almost every time we've been here the meat seems really dry and there's not a lot of sauce on any of it. Still I don't like to be the person who just nitpicks at everything and is never pleased so I felt like none of these things really were enough of a problem to write a review. But yesterday we went and I asked for a bowl (1 entree and 1 side) of chicken teriyaki and fried rice and he said they were out of chicken teriyaki so I ordered a bowl of black pepper steak and fried rice. My boyfriend ordered a plate (1 entree and 2 sides or 2 entrees and 1 side) and he got double orange chicken and a side of chow mein. We went through and got our order and we didn't check it until we got home. But when we did check it my order was right but my boyfriends order had a small portion of orange chicken, a big portion of chicken teriyaki (that they said they were out of) and a small side of chow mein and small side of fried rice. I thought maybe he just misunderstood me and thought we both wanted chicken teriyaki but I ordered my meal first and he said they were out before I even gave him my other order. And the receipt was correct and showed we were charged for black pepper steak and fried rice and 2 orange chickens and chow mein. So I drove back up there and got to the window and I gave him the receipt and he asked to see the other box. Then he said he would keep it and gave me the right order. It really irritated me because I could've got chicken teriyaki which is really the only thing I like to eat there but he said they didn't have it. Then they gave my boyfriend a huge order of it after saying they had none. Then rather than let me keep the chicken teriyaki they took it back so they can throw it away. They didn't apologize or address any of it or offer anything they just traded me orders and said thanks. So I'm starting to think stuff like this happens often so I'd recommend making the extra drive to a different location. read more

Typically we have good food here, but tonight's order was horrible. The Chow Mein is more cabbage than anything else. Hardly any noodles AT ALL. I order it for the noodles not tons of cabbage. Very disappointed. Luckily the Orange Chicken and the Homey Walnut Shrimp were good, but the Chow Mein was crap. One other issue, they put Orange Chicken UNDER my Honey Walnut Shrimp to hide the fact that there was only 3 shrimp! I paid extra for that? That is just wrong I'm so many levels! read more

I am outraged with how they handled business today. Went through drive thru to get a simple order, ended up waiting 30 minutes just for them to give us our food!! We were parked waiting and the people behind us got their food before us, like really?! 30 minutes and all they had to say was "sorry, is that all" I had business to attend to and tried to get something quick. Wasn't that busy, only 2 cars in front of me and it took half an hour......half an hour!!! Very terrible customer service! I ordered online and showed up 30 minutes later and my order was not there. So I ask the person working nearby and she very rudely said that they did not receive the ticket order and that I can go wait outside. I leave and call to get a refund and at first the VERY same lady said that my order has already been picked up but that is not the case since I never got any of the food I ordered, then she changes her story that I ordered Uber eats (which I didn't). this location has by far the worst customer service i have ever received from a panda express location, they will drop utensils used to prepare your food on the floor and reuse them without washing them and still serve you the food, they also dump food that they have already given the customer back into the unserved food trays if there is a problem with the food, truly a disgusting place and i would not recommend eating at this location. horrible experience. read more

Edgar was working drive thru, he didn't allow for any room to order. Was rushing the order, and asked unnecessary questions that felt like he was trapping me into something I didn't want to order. I had already known what I wanted, had he not asked so many questions, the order would have gone smoother and wouldn't have felt rushed. My kids LOVE their orange chicken, but sometimes their noodles or rice is very dry. We eat out here pretty often, but always have to ask for sauce on the noodles or on the side to add to them & the rice. They always provide it & have always gotten our order right going thru the drive-thru, so we do recommend them. Just remember to ask for soy sauce or sweet & sour sauce. read more

I've enjoyed coming here for the past 1 1/2 yrs. But yesterday's experience put an abrupt halt to my recommendation of this restaurant. While dining in, I noticed something shiny in my fried rice. Checked it with my fork & it turned out to be a sliver of curled metal. Took it to the counter & the server called over the cook. He said, "ok, we check it. " The server then stirred the pan of fried rice (she never looked at it while stirring it. She was looking at me). The cook then turned around & walked away. They never asked if I had cut my mouth or had any other injury from it. Fortunately I saw it before ingesting it. Nor did they call the manager. Shook my head, threw my hands up & walked out.
