I was craving more of a salty savory option at night which luckily was right before 9:00. When you walk in it's very clean. However, because of the time I came, there weren't many food options left. The mushroom chicken that I wanted was out so I wanted the orange chicken and I don't know if the lady didn't understand me but I only wanted the one and she kept trying to get me to get two different things so when I did get orange chicken and sesame chicken because she wasn't quick enough the guy behind me ordered the sesame chicken and I had to get just orange chicken. Which is fine. I understand it was late and it was like almost closing time. I just wish she had been listening to me and didn't keep going back and forth. I mean.....its Panda Express so. Its not fine dining. Its a chain with poor to mediocre food at best. Also, I'm still bitter that the fast casual chinese place Noodles over by rainmaker never reopened because their food was bomb. It was also open late. Panda is in the mall section at Foxwoods so it closes at like 20:00 or 21:00 On the plus, the staff made a fresh batch of broccoli beef per my request since they were out. On the minus, I joined the rewards club while eating but couldn't get my free gift of an apple pie wanton thingy but they had no more! I would probably go again if craving chinese at Foxwoods. The other fast options other than subway, suck. Subway sucks too, but its tolerable. LOL. read more

I would eat at Panda Express more often if there were more locations in CT but there are only 2...one is at a rest stop and this one is located in the outlets at Foxwoods which is about 75 minutes from where I live. Got there right after it opened so all of the food was hot and fresh. I like that you can get only the entree and skip the sides (too many carbs). I had the chicken and string beans which is my favorite. The portion is sufficient. I did see almond chicken that looked good...wish I had gone back and gotten that to go because I've been thinking about it for the past 4 days since I ate there! Service was fast and friendly. Fast casual Chinese food .... Quite nice for a quick bite .. Esp. When ur tired after a shopping haul. For some reason may be coz it was just one guys working the kitchen cleaning out the pans we had to wait almost an hour for the food and then when we got it it was raw. I wouldn't hold it against them coz everyone has bad days.. The overall taste of the food was awesome. I loved the orange chicken and fried rice. When you only have 6 entrees available, and nothing cooking and three of those six entrées are premium maybe you should rethink charging to take care of the customer by offering those premium entrées and not charging extra. read more

Appearance: The location is extremely clean and clean well kept! It was extremely spotless and employees showed they care by constantly cleaning up during downtime. Customer service: The associate was friendly and welcoming. He asked if we wanted samples and was extremely knowledgeable about the products. Food: The crab rag. was extremely flavorless and oily. Ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp for an Entrée and the Mixed Vegetables as a Side dish. Not only did the Honey Walnut Shrimp just come off the wok, the Mixed Vegetables were being made right in front of me. It was a delicious mix of fresh green beans, kale, garlic, and broccoli. Everything was colorful and mouthwateringly delicious. I have always seen a Panda Express around but never ate at one before. My friend who was with me had never been before either. We agreed that next time we go to the Tanger Outlets, this will be our lunch spot. I mean, it was practically made to order. And the restaurant was very clean. Part of the restaurant appeared to be closed off and shut down, which was a bit of an eyesore. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. It was an enjoyable experience. I went up to the counter to order and right after the girl asked "how can I help you", she abruptly decided to have a tantrum and give all the other employees an attitude. I love Panda Express for their fast food and the tastiness of their dishes. Some may be spicy but there's a sign that tells you if the dish you chose is spicy or not. Orange chicken is a fave for me. I usually order a bowl and split the rice and veggies and still get the main dish, bowl is cheaper. The food is always cooked and presented nicely. read more

I had lunch while shopping at the outlet mall. So glad they have this joint inside this mall. The vegetarians feel a little good to eat some good food while shopping. Luckily for me & my party, there are rarely very many people there when I arrive! I get top service from every serving clerk and very generous portions! Hopefully, the customer throng will visit the store when I am not there - so I can be able to continue to order up with the regular speed I am lucky to get - EVERY TIME I visit! Every guest that I bring with me REALLY likes the sweet sauce that is provided FREE (upon request) with every order. So, EVERYBODY stay away from this place and LEAVE IT ALL FOR ME! First of all, I NEVER write reviews. I figure most people just have bad days. With that being said, I have been to this location on four different occasions. The food is always gone, with no one making any until you want it. The employees are under trained in customer service. The dining area is usually filthy as well. By far, the worst Panda Express I have ever been to. I hope they open more throughout the state so we have more options. Maybe one will open in the Groton/New London area. I ca only hope. read more

I won't be too harsh on the review, but I must admit that the first time I went here it was terrible. The workers don't even know anything. The first day I went, I asked the cashier when the Tea Bar would open due for it 'not being opened right now.' I went during 5:30 P.M. She told me that the Tea Bar was opened between 10:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. I went the next day, during the times that she said it was specifically opened. It was NOT opened. I asked once again when the Tea Bar would be opened. The cashier says it's opened during 5:00 P.M. I go the next day, during 5:00, it's not opened. The cashier told me that they didn't have enough people to work with, even though it was JUST OPENED. I would really appreciate if someone could me the times that the Tea Bar is opened.
