For a club in a hotel in the middle of Connecticut, Shrine's got it going on. From the cavernous interior, to the boogey-down crowd, to the hottie go-go dancers shakin' their thangs atop the speaker boxes and other perches, this restaurant-by-day, club-by-night spot is the definitely the place to be when the sun goes down at the MGM. Though I can't say this is my regular scene (my club days are all but a distant---and fun--memory), we definitely made a night of it at Shrine, complete with bottles and a VIP table. Besides the super-premium price tags (higher than most NYC lounges), the only downside to the service is that pesky law which forces the waitress to pour all your drinks for you! Alas, after we'd danced all night and drank a ton of overpriced liquor, it was comforting to know that we didn't have to call a cab in the freezing weather...we need only to stumble to the elevator and remember which hotel room was ours!

    Sushi. Wow.

The ambiance at Scorpion Bar is nice. The lightening is nice and the decor is cool. My friend ordered a mango mojito and I ordered a virgin mojito which was surprisingly very tasty and refreshing. It did take a while for our food order to be taken. One of the bartenders said she would come back to take our food order after finishing a round of drinks, but then never came back so we had to ask another bartender to take our order after about 10 minutes of waiting. We ordered the nachos with ground beef. Those were pretty good, I liked how cheesy they were. For our main meal, we decided to get two tacos each and the birria quesadilla. The tacos were good! My favorite was the Baja fish taco. It was very flavorful and one of the best fish tacos I've had in CT. I was disappointed in the birria quesadilla. It was just OKAY. It was pretty pricey for just the quesadilla and no sides. I didn't think the meat was seasoned enough. The last item we got was the fried ice cream for dessert. We got it because the bartender said it was a large portion and was pretty good. It was NOT that goood. It was extremely large...like almost too big. The fried dough that covered the ice cream was very sugary and wasn't warm and the ice cream was very plain. I would not recommend. Overall, I think if you are looking for a restaurant at the casino with good ambiance, good drinks and decent food, I would recommend Scorpion Bar.

Even tried Scorpion Bar which was slightly better but not by much. Mind you spent $40 to get in Shrine and then $30 every round of shots. Scorpion Bar cost $20 to get in with rounds of shots being $30 there as well. So the next morning we decided to try Liquid Sunday's and had to go to the box office to purchase a ticket and it cost $70 for two people and then drinks for two people were $60 but at least this was a Party! Good music, food was ok. Drinks were expensive but it was at least worth it. They sprayed foam and did tons of champagne toasts and sprayed champagne in the pool. They also gave away shots which was cool. However there was so many people in the pool- I wasn't getting on stage for a free shot or glass of champagne- Is gladly pay for it thanks.... We stayed from like 1:30-close and we definitely had fun. If you're wanting a fun party atmosphere then this is definitely the pool party for you. Also the age discrepancies there were amazing. I thought it would be mostly kids in their 20s but it was surprisingly an "older crowd"- like 30s and 40s. I guess the college age crowd can't afford it because unless you have hundreds of dollars you're not going to be drinking much! However there was nothing that stood out in terms of help and/or waitresses/waiters. Tons of people working there but I still had to wait 20 mins in line for my $30 frozen drink- alas it was delicious! I would definitely be back!

Think bold colors, pulsing lights, and a soundtrack that keeps the energy high from happy hour to last call. It's the kind of place that doesn't whisper "fun"--it shouts it with neon flair. The location is ideal: steps away from the casino floor, close to the action but just removed enough to feel like its own little oasis of nightlife. Whether you're pre-gaming before a show or winding down after a lucky streak at the tables, The Neon Palm is perfectly placed for a quick escape into cocktail chaos. And the drinks? Let's just say they're not shy. Oversized, over-the-top, and often loaded with enough sugar and booze to guarantee a next-day headache if you're not careful. But that's part of the charm. From glow-in-the-dark martinis to tropical concoctions served in flaming tiki mugs, it's a celebration of excess--and it owns it. This isn't the spot for a quiet conversation or a refined wine list. It's where you go to let loose, sip something outrageous, and maybe dance a little under the strobes. The Neon Palm is loud, proud, and totally unforgettable--just don't forget to hydrate. Cheers

I got the mango flavor, my two friends got the strawberry and the pina colada. They came in plastic cups and are $12 each, for the smallest size. I didn't like these at all, they are far too sweet and I couldn't taste any rum. I carried it around as I walked around Foxwoods' casino, eventually when it was still decently full I misplaced it and lost it. I wasn't disappointed, I was glad not to have it any more. Even though I really didn't like these, I could see my self enjoying one of these drinks on a hot summer day, where I'd just want a cold drink in my hand.

They truly have a little something for everyone, from a full bar with TVs to an arcade for extra entertainment. The bowling experience was great, with spacious lanes and a surprisingly luxurious ambiance that elevated the whole vibe. The drinks were perfectly curated, and our server was friendly and attentive. They were kind enough to let us know about the Sunday Funday special, which is an excellent deal--especially for families. It's perfect for a family of four and includes bowling, shoe rental, and pizzas, making it both fun and budget-friendly. This is a sports bar, with some very large screens, they also offer bowling, it's very fancy. The hallway looks like a hallway of a very upscale hotel. I suppose if you've perfected your bowling skills, you could come here and hang out with the High Rollers. They have some very comfy seats here. To start off we got the Yukon Gold Chips, and the Truffle Fries. The Yukon Chips were just ordinary thin potato chips, they also came with onion rings. The truffle fries were very nicely seasoned, and they were pretty tasty. We also got their Un-Wedged Salad. This was very fresh with lettuce, blue cheese, tomatoes, bacon and pecans. Additionally we got the pepperoni pizza and the roasted vegetable pizza. These pizzas are very thin, but something was a bit off. Particularly, the pepperoni gave box pizza vibes. Something about the crust was very "cardboardy". The veggie was better. Maybe the vegetables helped disguise the very poor crust. They offer free refills on Coke. The pizzas were a very generous size. Despite this place being called High Rollers, the menu and the food were average at best.
