The plate: 1/2 Fried Rice, 1/2 Chow Mein with Kung Pao Chicken.

I don't know why this place has low reviews. I did notice they are from about a year ago. I can tell you this about Panda Express. I probably started ordering from here at the beginning of 2022. I have ordered their food for delivery & have ordered at the drive thru and have not had any issues with either. I have even used online ordering for the drive thru and it's been easy & convenient. The food has always been fresh and flavorful with very generous portions. I can always eat twice from my order. My go to is The Plate which comes with 1 side and 2 entrees. I usually get 1/2 & 1/2 on the side and get to pick 2 different sides. If you order ahead through their website you can order for delivery or drive thru pick up, which is very convenient. One time I didn't order ahead and ordered when I got to the drive thru line and the entree I wanted was out and would be ready in about 15 minutes so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry. Best if you order ahead. I think this place is a really good option for fast food. The food is not too expensive, the portions are generous and the food tastes great! They also have healthy options available like Super Greens, Broccoli Beef & Grilled Teriyaki Chicken.

The food was hot and fresh when we ate here. It tastes just like all Panda Express restaurants.

We've had great service and food every time at this location. The drive thru was quick and efficient and inside is very clean.

The second time I visited, I had the Hong Shao Rou with mushrooms (Braised Pork Belly) to-go, not a huge fan of takeout and this didn't disappoint and it was good. The takeout team member was pleasant enough. They feature an open kitchen with two tops closer to the wall/glass and larger tables more toward the middle of the restaurant. From the outside it features the traditional Chinese architecture with western building base. I look forward to yaksying the rest of the menu this year.

But the inconsistency has been an issue for me, and the flavors aren't as good as they once were. Dishes I regularly ordered like Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Japanese Egg Tofu, and Honey Walnut Shrimp haven't stood out as much as of lately. Dishes like Szechuan Spicy Chicken is still one of my favorite, and Garlic Snow Pea Leaves are delicious when in season. Bamboo House still holds its place as great spot for group dining. The portion is generous, prices are fair, and overall a solid restaurant that's still worth recommending.

On my most recent visit we ordered mapo tofu with pork intestines off the specials menu - a hybrid of two of my favorite Sichuan-style dishes. The blend of bouncy, savory morsels amidst tender, saucy tofu was at once revolutionary and so obvious; why hadn't I yet seen this at any other restaurant? And sure, innards may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's important for you to know that none of my past orders from the 50+ item menu have ever failed me, whether enjoyed in the restaurant or at home. Maybe you'd prefer the aromatic, classic, perfectly balanced three-cup chicken? Or the sweet-skinned duck, glazed so delicately that specks of sugar crystal threaten to jump off onto the plate as you pick up a juicy slice with your chopsticks? And if you're vegetarian, might you consider the punchy garlic eggplant or the wok-kissed string beans? I could go on. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself, though I'd recommend parallel parking on the neighborhood streets behind the restaurant rather than the rocky parking lot, to save you some trouble. Bring friends and chow down family style - you'll need help covering as much of the menu as you can, but you'll definitely have to come back to try everything.

Food-wise: the chicken was good (and very hot/steaming). The crab puffs were nicely fried--super crisp--but the filling was basically just cream cheese. Even a little seasoning (or a touch of crab) would make them a lot better. Fried rice and white rice were fine. The egg rolls tasted very "pre-made/wholesale/Sysco truck." I'm giving it a 3 mainly because I like the staff and I'm willing to give it one more try. My wife and kid said they're out, never again. I also hate how they shamed the bad tipper. Not the cleanest well kept place.

So I went in and yes I was a bit surprised by the place and said Oh no..but I was already there and every other Chinese takeout around the area were closed. I've never tried the Singapore noodles but always read it's the best thing to order when ordering takeout and had my mind set on that. So the girl at the register mentioned Curry but I've never tried that before so I said sure...let's do it. I mentioned it was my birthday and how this was my "bday dinner" not to get anything free just making small talk. Without hesitation she went and grabbed a drink and said here you go.It's not much but it was a very nice gesture. So I live about 30+min from the restaurant and wasn't expecting much since I've been let down before by takeout places. When I got home and opened the boxes I was surprised by the amount. Most places around the area from Waller to Sealy will give you maybe a scoop of their food. When I tell you that this will be my go to place now. The food was delicious. Singapore noodles are now my fav. At first, like most people,I went a bit crazy on my seasoning. It honestly didn't need any of the extra soy I added. I'm more of a steamed rice but forgot to ask. Not saying this one was bad.Wish I got into my egg roll sooner cus it got soggy but again it's a 30min drive but that's on me. I did save a bit to have some leftover today. Wish I had saved more but it was so good I ate most of it. Definitely recommend this place.

They did change the menu a bit, but it had what I exactly wanted. We ordered the Szechuan Mala Spicy Rice Noodle Bowl w/ Beef Slices, Popcorn Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, and Xiao Long Bao. The noodle bowl is the best. Tons of flavor and ingredients with the vermicelli noodles are just amazing. The popcorn chicken is delicious, nothing special. The shrimp tempura is delicious and has an amazing crunch. The Xiao Long Bao is more of a soup dumpling dim sum style. It was pretty delicious, but it didn't taste really fresh like you'd get from an actual dim sum restaurant. The staff are friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at.
