My wife and I either eat in, or get take-out, at this location every couple of weeks; the food is always great, the food is always fresh and the staff there is always helpful and friendly. It would be great if there was another PE location somewhere south in The Villages, FL. Hi Al J. Thanks for your response. I sent you a DM. I'm not interested in a free meal certificate. I am only interested in helping others not get served spoiled food at this restaurant. I did go back to the restaurant later the same day after the bad meal. I asked for a refund. I was told that I could have more food, but no refund. I declined the offer of more food. Panda Express corporate also contacted me. They just wanted to know if I was going to sue. I told them I have no plans to file a lawsuit. I was not reimbursed by them either. It would be nice to hear from you on how you are handling the management and poor employee performance that caused bad food to be served. That is my goal - to help others not get sick at this restaurant. Please make a donation to a local food pantry or soup kitchen to help stop hunger instead of giving me a free meal or a refund. I have only been to this location twice. I found the prices a bit too high for the food you receive. Also, the first time I ordered, the wrong food was brought to the drive-up window. I did not know it was wrong until I got home. I called them and told them about it, and all they did was say they were sorry. The taste of the food was sort of bland, especially the dry tasting rice that seemed to have been setting quite a while before it was put in my Styrofoam tray. There are several other Chinese style restaurants that are MUCH better in the area, so I would not recommend this one that much. There's really nothing much I could say about this place, it's just average at best. The interior of the place is probably the best part, I love the use of red. But after that, there's nothing much else and all. The service is alright, it's not bad but could be improved and all. They serve more food if you take it to go compared to if eat it there. A little tip if you want more food I guess. Now to the food, I love the food, it's great but would not always eat there. I don't know why, but it's just, I guess average at best in my opinion. But anyways, I would come back here if I feel like having Asian food, but this probably wouldn't be my first choice. read more

Good bang for the buck. Always cooked great. Good flavor. Love the sauce that comes with the egg roll. Good value.

The inconsistency here is really a put off. Inconsistency in food (at times looks absolutely horrible, cold, chicken & vegetable dish with NO chicken left in the pan at all, yet, employees happily scoop it up onto their Styrofoam plates, yet on another day if you object, a smiling polite employee will say something like "oh certainly, yes, I see it has no meat at all", or similar. The cleanliness is the same, you can go one day and the bathrooms are clean (always check where the floor meets the walls to give a hint if an establishment is truly clean...in a hotel dirt around the far edges of the carpet or flooring tells the tale !), but Panda is so hit and miss, it's maddening. Could be a favorite place. You never know when you walk in if you will get a clean or dirty table, and you never know if the tables are "cleaned" with the same dirty rag all day long (tell tale hardened mounds of various sauces from dishes of food, a quick swipe does nothing to dislodge this kind of thing) and do they wipe with the required % of chlorine solution, who knows ? read more

This place was dreadful! The orange chicken was cold and tough, and the Bejing beef was dried out and flavorless. All of the selections had been out for too long...as in a buffet where they just won't change the food....but why was everything lukewarm? Even the noodles were old, dry and tough! The problem is obviously all the kid help there...who were no help at all....didn't know anything about the food, just wanted to move you along. The owner/actual manager was ovviously not there and these kids just could't care less about the stuff they were throwing into the plasticware. Is there a tea bar? will there ever be one? i looked at the online menu for the first time and was pretty surprised to see bubble milk tea on the menu which i wanted to try for a while. but i came to realize that this wasnt available at all locations as it was only part of the tea bar. there was no way for me to check which locations had a tea bar, and the online map was honestly no help as the interface was slow, confusing, and i realized had some locations unlisted. im not even sure what the tea bar is like, and it was pretty confusing to me that only specific locations held such simple products. my point is, i'd love to see the tea bar in more panda expresses as im sure it'd sell well. i do enjoy this location very much as im a big panda express fan, its simple food that you can always count on being a nice lunch. thats all id have to say read more

I can't figure out why some reviewers rate Panda Express only two stars? I eat here often and think it's even better than some of the other Chinese restaurants in the area. Certainly it's food is more consistent. Even though it's a "Chinese fast food" place, their recipes are creative and preparation consistent. They don't cook too far in advance, so even though it's a buffet, you always get freshly prepared food. And whatever kind of rice they use for their fried rice is my favorite. Always a decent fresh form of fast Chinese food. I always opt to do the receipt survey to save money because their portions are slightly less. I always ask for said entrée item to be made fresh and I wait. The food can at times be Luke warm. Which I'm not a big fan of. But just ask and they will make a fresh batch.
