I ordered black pepper angus steak and received (idk what I received) I even looked on your website to see if I could find a picture of what it was that and I can't find it on the menu. I picked at the meat and it's definitely not steak! Very disappointed and wasn't able to eat anything other than the noodles smh. read more

Panda Express - Chinese Near Me - Glendale Heights, Illinois

See all

This is the worst Panda Express in all of Illinois. The staff are unprofessional, they always have the system broken and only accept cash, they are constantly out of POPULAR items. They don't know what supply and demand is. I will literally drive to any far away than this panda that is by my house because it sucks so bad. One time I had a rubber band that was small in my food from them and could have choked. read more

This place is a bust! Dirty tables, had to clean my table off. Ordered my meal and the line server Justine was rude. Finished my meal and couldn't empty my tray the trash cans were so full so I left the tray. Will never come here again. Cold, crappy quality food. read more

Review update - still 3 stars. Had to wait 10 minutes for the noodles and another 10 min for beef. I paid and waited patiently. When my food was finally ready they had switched out cashiers and she started ringing up my order. I told her i already paid and she ignored me. I told her again and she was fumbling around with the boxes trying to figure out what to punch in. I told her again and then she look super annoyed and demanded the receipt. Seriously? Strike two panda... On the up side the food was hot and delicious. read more

Decreasing portion sizes: I wish 'Pick up Stix' was here as this place is absolutely worthless. The portion sizes keeps decreasing for the same price, what a rip-off!. Order any of their shrimp items and it is 3-5 pieces for an extra $1.25. What kind of shrimp is this? oh, don't even get me started on their wok shrimp. Who in their right mind agreed to put whole pea pods in there. Put peas in there or something else but whole pea pods are only a filler. Panda = 1 You = 0. Whoever put pea pods on this menu should be fired. Long Wait: If this was a fine Chinese restaurant I could understand the long wait but for a fast food Chinese why do I have to wait till my hair grows grey. That's why they have a drive-thru, well patrons, be forewarned of food not being fresh or portion sizes even less than what you would get from inside. That's because customers don't open their containers till they reach their destination to learn of this trickery. You are hungry and find it useless to go back. Panda = 2 You = 0. Customer service: I think the employees do a good job of greeting customers and they are just doing their jobs so I can't blame them for poor management decisions. Cleanliness: Do you like chow-mein stuck to your pants? or soda machine in disarray with syrup and lids all over the place. Even McDonalds is cleaner than this panda. Have Standards! Still, l see employees trying to clean as much as they can but it never seems to be clean. So HIRE MORE PEOPLE!! Management: I think counting pieces of shrimp and deceptively decreasing portion sizes for the same price is poor management and an absolute disregard for customers. I don't know what is going on in this place but over the years the quality, service and every other aspect of this place are going downhill. Readers, please repeat after me Cost-Cutting, Cost-Cutting and again Cost-Cutting. Management needs a new strategy and if they can't deliver, find someone who could do it better, because the current direction is towards a sink-hole. For Panda Customer Service: I do not want any vouchers, certificates or X % off. I want a good, consistent experience where I know I am not being ripped off. Till then I would go to another Panda Express. Otherwise, there are always other options if this is a long term strategy for the company. Stay Hungry my Friends! read more

Great experience today .This location really stepped up it's game .Thank you for a much improved experience.

Absolutely awful. This location has sadly gotten worse and worse over the last 3 years. Tonight I got a bowl with fried rice and beef and broccoli. The broccoli was so old they had no right serving it. There was hardly any meat and I questioned if it was really beef or if it was actually chicken (dark meat). And the fried rice just tasted bad. I am done giving this location a chance anymore. read more

They need all new staff here. They have these kids or young adults whatever they are here and they have no type of urgency to anything they do, and their attitudes are terrible. I love panda but I won't be back. And unfortunately I'm leaving the whole business alone. Every time I come here these kids are terrible, it makes the whole experience bad. Today a girl tried to make me wait until she replenished some entrees that were empty. I didn't even want what she was refilling and I told her I'm on my lunch break. She continued doing what she was doing. There was no one in line after me so that could have waited. I never told her but I only wanted 4 bring rolls. Time before this I ordered online, they said you can't go through the drive thru to pickup online orders. Come inside my order still wasn't ready. Again being on my lunch break I said cancel, because I have to go I couldn't wait any longer. Had to argue with the girl about canceling my order. They just do silly stuff here. It's unnecessary. So I'll keep my money in my pocket read more

We went to this Panda on our lunch break. Very clean and friendly and helpful staff. Food was very FRESH and portions were good. We will be back read more

I really feel bad for the employees here, they are clearly understaffed. You can see them working hard here, but especially during the dinner rush, there's just not enough people working for them to keep up. Food is good and they pile it on, I always get two meals out of 1 here. read more

i have visited this location like 3 times they always have an issue about being short staffed i get it i feel bas about them employees they probably dont get paid enough to put up with all the nonsense upper management needs to do something with this place because its a great location a good brand and it seems like there's always an issue today no rice no broccoli dining room closed and one can't really drive away as you have to wait for the cars to move overall bad place bad management employees do good job i feel read more

This is a terrible store. I went inside to order to go. The staff seemed crabby/half asleep. The food all looked like it was old and had been sitting out which I can sort of confirm when I got home to eat it bc it was basically cold (I live 5 min away). The beef in the beef broccoli was like weirdly chewy and what I got was like 80% broccoli over beef ratio anyway. I'm definitely not coming back to this location. read more

They always get my order wrong and it's honestly so frustrating. Ask for chow Mein, get rice. Order broccoli and beef, get only broccoli. Order chicken and mushroom, get mushrooms and zucchini only. I'd find a different location or just order from a Chinese restaurant read more

Enthusiastic and easy to understand order taker at the drive through ... as well as the 2nd person at the window. Order delivered promptly. Well seasoned shrimp with not-overcooked and tasty veggies. My first experience here. I'll be back. read more

I like the fact that I can get some veggies or brown rice for lunch but this place is stingy on the entree portion size. I have come here a couple times for their sweetfire chicken with vegetables to find a paltry amount of chicken and a Costco sized side. It wouldn't hurt to add a few more pieces of meat to your entree portions, you cheap bastards! :-) read more

I stop on drive thru buy dinner for my husband because he love panda express. I hate this location, and after today even more. Quick drive through but, I had ordered beef and broccoli with double beef. Of course didn't open it up until I got home to find out that means I had 4 pieces of beef to about 30 pieces of broccoli. Yea I'm just going to avoid this one rather not give them my business. read more

Well I haven't been to Panda for few years until now. And in all honesty, I am pretty displeased and unsatisfied with my result. I paid $9 for a meal that was nearly half dumped out in the bag. and before the first bite, I thought I'd share this. Never again. read more

The employees don't care about the service side of the business. I arrived at 9:50 when the store closes at 10:00 just to be told that just the drive thru was open, at the drive through window they told me they "threw out the food" when I could clearly see that the food was still there. If you want to eat where the employees care about their costumer, don't go to this Panda Express. read more

Finally, a panda nearby! There are a couple somewhat close but this is in the army trail corridor, right by the target. Just opened today, it's pretty tiny and clean obviously. Servers were friendly but they wouldn't give my kids balloons lol. When you want that quick Chinese fix, this is the spot! Drive thru too! read more

Never had a good experience, low quality food compared to other pandas. Get ready to wait a minimum of 45 minutes in the drive through with only 2 cars in front of you!! read more

Decided to give it a try again - we all have off days lol let me tell you that my panda bowl was just right. I was greeted as soon as we walked in (my 6year old was with me). Our food was warm/hot not cold (yay!). Christian was attentive all throughout our ordering process. He seemed to have it all in control. Dining room was maintained clean and he even asked around to see how everyone's meal was. Thanks Christian! read more

put in a Pick up order and even gave them extra couple minutes to have it ready , and still had to wait for them there to get the order ready , when i got home there was no teriyaki sauce on my chicken. no hot sauce as indicated on my order. read more

Incredibly slow service. Hire more people then make sure they show up on time. The one employee who helped was nice, though. Food was below average. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. If someone works in the drive through and is the face of the restaurant they should greet customers in a friendly manner. From the beginning it was a bunch of teenagers with attitudes who obviously hate their job. Ordered fried rice but when I got home it was white rice, drove all the way back to explain if they knew the difference between "white fried rice" and "white steamed rice" the girl rolled her eyes at me. She obviously misread the order on the receipt and she couldn't even ADMIT to it, apologize for her mistake to my face and had to get other employees to handle my situation. read more

My first experience at this Panda Express and I will never come here again. The person working did not know the answer about whether there was dairy in one of their entrees. I asked to speak to the manager since My daughter has an allergy, and the manager gave me attitude when asking about allergens. She said she didn't know but couldn't tell me that there wasn't an ingredient in something. You'd think at least the manager would know or could check what was in their food. This location needs better customer service and better training, especially for management. read more

Drive thru is new to Panda Express and the young people working here are for sure still learning... CHECK your Order if you use the drive thru ! You have been warned they are not on top of napkins , sauces with the egg rolls etc read more

Horrible experience, we walk in and were literally ignored for about 5 minutes. Workers walked right past us without saying hello or can I help you. I told my husband that I wanted to leave and a woman who had just been standing around took our order. Got a kids meal for my daughter and the lady didn't even mention what it comes with, if my husband wouldn't have said anything she wouldn't have gotten her drink or cookie. I definitely won't be returning to this location, those workers definitely need to learn about customer service and doing their jobs. read more

Only second time here and it wasn't a good experience. I ordered the bigger plate for my son and I to share. I had fried rice 2 sides of orange chicken and spring rolls. The Cashier said ok one more and I repeated "one more" and she said "yes" so I ordered the cream cheese Rangoon. When I got home there was rice, spring rolls, Rangoon on the plate and One small box of orange chicken. I called the location to let them know they forgot to double the chicken and the girl who answered the phone said there was nothing she could do about it. I thought it was a simple, just give the customer a second order of orange chicken. She said I can come in and dispute her his with the manager, if I have I go through all that forget it. I just won't come back to this location. Sucks that they don't understand customer service. read more

On Sunday May 2, 2021 me and my wife ordered carry out. The order was 2 fried rice, 2 shrimps honey walnut, kung pao chicken and teriaki chicken. A couple of hours after eating at our home we both fell severely ill but she was far worse than me. (I learned later from a doctor that this is because I am on a medication that helped) That was the only food we ate together that day . She couldn't sleep that night. On Monday we went to immediate care center and the doctor said this is food poisoning. The severity of the food poisoning caused my wife terrible suffering and a high medical bill. She couldn't eat for 2 days. I called panda express and told them what happened. They said somebody from corporate will get back to me, but nobody called, looks like they careless. I have conferred with my lawyer and he is working on my case. read more

I called and tried to place an order. They said I could not--had to order online. I tried but it always takes me to delivery which I don't want. My husband is picking up and is hearing impaired so he can't order at the drive through. I tried to find the near location and your online system is too hard to navigate. We gave up and he is going to Portillo's. I had a taste for Chinese but you make it too hard to get your food. Other locations have been more accommodating. I have also noticed that portions have gotten smaller in the last year. We used to enjoy Panda often but not any more. read more

Good food, good price. I like that they let you try samples of food and everyone is very friendly.

First time at this location.. all honesty worst service I ever had ever.. they should shake the management or take serious look at performance reviews internally.. reading reviews for this location as my food was already delayed.. almost felt as if I was my future.. Where I'm from I was raised on panda inn.. definitely not boing the original justice.. at the end of everything couldn't even do the refund correctly.... 30mins of waiting.. basically had to ask what do you have prepared because nothing was ready.. ended up waiting for for they said was ready.. Please fix this I would really love to see this location succeed. read more

Really disappointed. I ordered online, said my food was ready,Called them, the manager seemed like she didn't know that I had placed an order. Had to wait 30 mins extra to finally get my food. I'm giving it a 1 star and I'm generous by giving them that. read more

First off the cooks were fast, the people who are in charge of the line were not following protocol of first in and first out. Freshly cooked food was being pushed out first and old food being served under it. It wasnt quality controlled... The service was very very slow, they even forgot about an online order and the workers got our order done first before his online order even though he was standing there waiting... I think speed of service and food quality control need to be addressed to the female manager on duty. read more
