    Honey walnut shrimp
    Ashley O.

Ran through the driveway at Panda Express today. I got the honey walnut chicken and white rice. It was a good sized combo meal. My only complaint is I would have liked more sauce tot cover my ride which was a bit bland and dry. The shrimp themselves had great flavor. I also got an order of the crab rangoons. Which are also so tasty.

    Kung Pao Chicken -- 15/09/2020

UPDATED REVIEW (Year 2020) -- Panda Express is still open during the current worldwide pandemic (COVID-19/Coronavirus). The drive-thru window at this location is open. I visited on a weeknight in September after playing tennis. I arrived late, around 8:30pm, so they were out of some menu items. I had to wait an extra 6 mins or so for my order which was fine. I ordered through the drive-thru window. My go-to menu item here is the Kung Pao Chicken so that is what I ordered. Panda Express's Kung Pao Chicken has spicy chicken, zucchini, red bell peppers and crunchy peanuts in a ginger garlic sauce. I love the combination of flavours in this dish. For under $7, it was a simple and delicious meal. If you are looking for fresher and more authentic Chinese food then this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a "healthier" fast food option for lunch or dinner then try Panda Express. This restaurant is a solid 3/5. I was generous in my previous review by rating it 4/5. This is a chain restaurant that has been around for a while so you are destined to find something on the menu that you like but options for vegetarians are limited. Vegetarians can choose options such as: Chow Mein and Eggplant Tofu. Other dishes include Super Greens, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Steamed White and Brown Rice. All food (meat and vegetarian) is prepped in the same kitchen using shared utensils.

Listen, if you follow my Yelp reviews it's obvious I dine out a lot, but Asian isn't big on my list to hit up, nor is chain fast food, so what possessed me to try this place out I have no idea. I will say 5 stars for the friendly, helpful, patient staff. And I think prices are affordable especially for the large portions you get. However... the food had such an off taste, like not fresh, not even sure it was food. It all had this chemical/processed taste to it. IDK if it was the breading or the sauce or what, but I did not feel good about putting this into my body. I remember being younger and trying the Asian spots at the mall and liking them so I'm not sure what happened here. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things and they were sitting out to long? I have no idea. Maybe I've just developed an intolerance for too much fried carbs? Maybe it's the oil they use? Just a weird off taste in my mouth. This is going to be a one and done for me.

Beef and broccoli and a lot of chow mein. No mushroom chicken.

The first time I went to Panda Express was in Montana. I didn't use the drive-thru there so I can't compare that, but I can compare the food and overall experience. And this one compared to the one in Montana does not fare as well. I have been to this one 4 times. They are always friendly, but the experience has gone downhill each time. The last time I ordered mushroom chicken. Instead, I got the string bean chicken. And the string bean was very - stringy. Today I ordered two entrees (broccoli and beef and mushroom chicken) and one side (chow mein). No mushroom chicken whatsoever, but tons of chow mein. Today was the final straw. It's not that it's expensive, but it's expensive enough to pay for food that isn't cooked well or for food that you requested and didn't receive.

Hair in my fiancé's food (definitely not mine)

I ordered a Chicken Combo meal. CANIAC COMBO ($11.59) -- This is the 6-piece chicken finger combo that I ordered. My order unfortunately came with only 4 chicken fingers instead of 6 and I only realised this once I reached my friend Gabby's house so someone made a mistake when putting together my order. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a good picture of my whole chicken-finger meal before I started eating but I've attached a photo below. Besides chicken fingers, the caniac combo comes with a small container of coleslaw, garlic bread, fries, and two small special sauces. A 32 ounce soft drink of your choice is included as well. I got a large lemonade drink on the side which I shared with my friend because that would have been too much sugar for me to drink. MENU -- The whole menu at all Raising Canes is a 3, 4, or 6 piece chicken finger combo. They also have a kids combo (2 chicken fingers) and a sandwich combo (3 chicken fingers). The 3 chicken fingers combo does not come with coleslaw but the 4 chicken finger combo does include coleslaw on the side. PRO TIP -- If your get any of their combos without a soft drink (soda), your bill will be reduced. I actually got Raising Canes the very next day at the Lakewood location and ordered the 3-piece combo ($6.99) which comes with a 22-oz fountain drink. I did not order the drink and my bill was reduced by a dollar so I only paid $5.99. I tend not to order soda pop and instead opt for drinking water at home. FOOD RATING -- I've had Raising Canes plenty of times before. I first had it while I was a undergraduate University student in Columbus, Ohio. I've also been to their Strongsville and Lakewood locations here in Cleveland. The chicken fingers are good for a fast food joint but nothing beats chicken fingers from Upper Crust. The fries here could be crispier and firmer. The garlic bread is tasty. The special sauce is what Raising Canes is known for and I love it. I believe it is a type of mayonnaise mixture. SERVICE -- Great! If you have never tried Raising Canes before then I recommend it for a quick fast food option. **** - 15/200 total reviews in 2020 - 391 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 12 February 2020

No greeting, no "Welcome to Firehouse," no smile, no acknowledgment--just silence and disinterest. It honestly felt like I was inconveniencing them by showing up. During my most recent visit, the ice machine was broken. One of the employees stood nearby texting on his phone. Hopefully, he was reporting the issue--but I doubt it. There was no heads-up, no courtesy mention at the register that there'd be no ice for beverages like "iced" tea, soda, or lemonade. You just found out after you ordered. On a previous visit, there was no tea available at all. Yes, my sandwich was fine. It had all the ingredients (though I didn't get the pickle I was offered). But that should be the bare minimum, not the high point. We should expect more--especially from a brand like Firehouse that prides itself on service and community. I genuinely tried to share this feedback privately through the Firehouse Subs website, but their customer service portal locked up. That's frustrating--and why I'm posting here instead. I'd have preferred to keep this between me and the company, but they didn't make that possible. To be clear: I'm not trying to shame these young workers. I hope someone trains and mentors them. But being on your phone during a shift, ignoring customers, and offering zero hospitality is not how you build a strong team or a loyal customer base. Rocky River deserves better. And Firehouse Subs should expect better.

She didn't mop it dry like you do when you dry mop floors, she just scrub brushed it with a deck brush, spreading the soapy water over the entire floor directly in front of the cash registers. I saw people slipping, but luckily, nobody fell because they could have gotten hurt.....all because of her inappropriately "cleaning" the floors during rush-hour. And the food was bad. When orders were falling behind, she didn't even go back and help, even though she could see that it was chaotic and people were waiting 10 to 15 minutes for their orders. I heard one of the employees say that one order was completely skipped and missed. Also, the profanity her and the employees were yelling at each other, even though there were little kids there, was just unacceptable! I actually did something that I've never done before and I never thought I would be compelled enough to do. I called Corporate and made a claim and the lady said she was fast tracking it to upper management to make sure that this is addressed. And I hope it gets addressed because I love Wendy's, and customers should not have to go through shenanigans like this while they try to get their meals. This left me speechless. I will continue to go to Wendy's as it's my favorite burger joint, but I definitely will not go back to this one!!!!

King Wah - Genwr Tso chicken

Great meals with philosophical friends (1 of 2)…read more My friend who hails from and now again lives in the western suburbs of CLE introduced me to Joe's Fine Deli and this Chinese restaurant - King Wah - which are considered area gold standards for their respective cuisines and have stood the test of time. My friend said that they might have done some remodeling and might be "off line." Their website and my phone call confirmed that they were open for business. Thus, going here was then easily agreed upon. I don't write too many reviews for Chinese restaurants. That said, allow me to be a jerk and bring up some dynamics I see - not so much with Asian food - but with consumers of Asian food. In the tech suburbs on Portland's west side, I have been in eateries where WASPy and "boring as watching paint dry" techies come in for a take-out order of lunch. These same guys sing the praises for Thai and Indian food, which they order with a high spice quotient, and I wonder if it's to counterbalance their lack of personal pep. I have eaten spicy food from these regions on a few occasions that I ordered in "dumbed down" form, my nose ran the entire time, and I wound up later going home sick. Back to King Wah. I'm open to ethnically diverse food. It just cannot be spicy. King Wah serves up the broad spectrum of Cantonese staples that Americans often choose and love. They might offer some menu items beyond Cantonese ones. Spicy items on the menu are clearly identified with the "hot pepper" icon. For me, ordering in a Chinese restaurant is a no-brainer. Is it going to be cashew chicken, lemon chicken, or beef broccoli? I had the cashew chicken. My friend ordered one of the fish entrees. We sampled each other's food and both dishes received the nod of approval. I liked my cashew chicken because it was a very satisfying larger portion that was also very tasty. The interior is clean and features some of the decor you may often see in Chinese restaurants. The service was excellent - low key, polite, and informative. Because the fried rice is "sold" separately, the overall tab might be a tad higher, but not by much. I will now go off on another tangent. I ponder some strange angles to situations. It's obvious that the management and most of the staff at King Wah might hail from China. I wonder what it must be like to come to the U.S., open a restaurant in a catchment area that is mostly non-ethnic Americans, and become the greatest thing since sliced bread to your customer base. I'm just trying to process their perceptions and acclimation along a trek that non-ethnic Americans will never experience. (For what it's worth, my foreign-born parents certainly went through this, albeit not as restauranteurs.) It's all good because it happens to every immigrant group that opens up what become popular restaurants in the U.S. and Canada and it's an interesting thing to watch unfold ... at least to me. Again, I don't partake in this cuisine often, but when I'm ready to go, I'm ready! I'm not giving this restaurant 5 stars because I was hoping that that dollop of fried rice would have come with the meal, but King Wah is clearly a 4 star experience and I would recommend it highly to aficionados of more mainstream Cantonese Chinese cuisine.
