Ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp. She scoops a little bit into my box and proceeds to close it. Me:"uhm, that's all I'm getting for shrimp?" The outside of the building was clean and the parking was plentiful. The restaurant itself was not very handicap accessible as there are 2 doors that need to be opened to get inside. We were greeted as we came in the door and the restaurant was pretty clean and roomy. They do have plexiglass barriers up which is a good thing in slowing the spread of covid. The staff was all very friendly but after everything we ordered the server said "Is that it?" The food is your average Panda Express food except it wasn't that fresh. The drink station was pretty clean but I found it rather odd during a pandemic the straws were not wrapped just a bunch of open straws in a holder. read more

Didn't want this to be a bad review. However, the people working there ask for it. Came here on 4/13/23 with my wife after work, and no lie it almost took us 30 minutes to get our food. Customer service is the worst, people worry more about talking than making food thats out at the display table. Not sure what they did to the chowmein, or the orange chicken, but they tasted horrible that day. Over all a horrible experience. Won't be coming back. read more

This is my second and last time @ Panda Express, both times I got the 1+1 bowl for $8: 1 side and 1 meat. The first time I ordered the noodles (delicious) as a side and the second time I decided to try the rice (tasteless). Both times I had the Honey Shrimp w/pecans/walnuts, absolutely delicious. As I expected, I got a lot of the side and a little of the shrimp. The surprise was when I went to pay: they charged me a separate price for the shrimp. I payed $8 for a bowl with 2 items and they really charged me $8 for tasteless rice and $1.25 more for the second item. Before I ordered the protein, I ask if I could order any meat because of the over charge the first time and the employee said "yes". So what are the 2 items in a 1+1 $8 bowl? And why I payed extra for the protein without any warning? WATCH YOUR RECEIPT AT PANDA EXPRESS!!! I'm not going back! $10.18 for a bowl of rice and some shrimp??!! To do the trick they put 2 orders of rice in the register plus the protein so the register charges you for 3 items so the protein is extra. Diceiving you think? Specially when I received ONLY 1 portion of rice. Last Monday I went to a high end restaurant called St Charles Place in St Charles, IL. I payed that same amount for and epic burger with the most delicious french fries. Every Monday 50% off all burgers!!! Better than Panda Express and no surprises. read more

Ordered online again and it said it would be ready at 7:25. When I got there at 7:28, my food still wasn't ready and I sat there for 20 minutes until it was done. I was already annoyed so I took my food and left. Got home and the order wasn't even right. We have been Panda Express fans for may years, and have never had a bad experience before. Until last night. We came in for a late night meal, so understandably, they were out of several items. But we decided on a bowl of Beef Broccoli and noodles. Upon exiting, we realize we were given rice. Tried to return the bowl, and were told there was nothing they could do, no refunds allowed. (Which we know from past experience is not true) When we said, we weren't paying for their mistake, we were then accused of lying about wanting noodles, and that we had asked for rice. "Why didn't you say you were out of noodles when I asked for them?", to which she replied "How could you have ordered noodles, if we were out?" We asked for a manager's name and number, which she gave us. We then left the food, sans refund, as she locked the door. Want to put one star, but don't hold Panda Express fully responsible for one bad server. read more

We went in on Tuesday and ordered lunch there. Front of house staff greated and welcomed everyone that came in. Portions were large. Food was hot. Will go back. Only negative thing was the people making the fried food left and came back after buzzer was going off for a couple of minutes. This happened several times while we were there. read more

The food is good but the service is eh. We have ordered through the app and they don't start the order till I arrive (which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead). Then one time by the time they got to my order they had run out of the main item I ordered. We have ordered through a delivery service and they don't put the teriyaki sauce in for the teriyaki chicken. It's NOT an added sauce! It's a sauce that literally comes with the chicken. We then have to go out to get it replaced and they won't replace any of the rice or noodles or any other entrées because the order was placed through a delivery service even though the mess up had NOTHING to do with the delivery service read more

Panda Express is a Chinese, "Fast Food" restaurant. When I visited today, they were out of fried rice, chow mein, and so many other food items. The line was backed up and I waited over 10 minutes for food from a "fast food" restaurant. Avoid this location if you can. read more

If you're wanting to go on a diet but aren't sure how to start, I recommend coming to this Panda Express cause they don't fill up your plates. I was very disappointed. I asked for orange chicken and I noticed there wasn't much left so I thought they'd make me wait to get fresh chicken, but instead they gave me the small portion that I got, half the plate. I usually love Panda. Today, however, was a big disappointment. I will be stopping in tomorrow to talk to them. I ordered take out. The food was absolutely inedible. It was cold. Very little taste. The chicken was slimy and grizzly. They sent no sauces for the rice or crab Rangoon. One fortune cookie for the couple of meals ordered. Very disappointed in the quality. The staff is very nice and prompt. However, as others have stated the serving sizes leave a lot to be desired. I have been to many other Panda Express locations and have never felt like I'm being stiffed, but here the amount of food is lacking. They also *never* have brown rice, and every time I've requested it I've been told it won't be ready for another hour...leading me to believe it's not requested often so they just don't prepare batches of it regularly. read more

I've visited this Panda Express many times and have yet to be disappointed. I usually go right after lunch rush and right before the dinner rush. Sometimes I will need to wait a couple of minutes to get the entree I want, but I haven't had to wait longer then 6 or 7 minutes. There are 3 Panda Express restaurants in Dekalb. This one is the best, in my opinion. I'm used to going into the location on West Lincoln Highway for an early dinner. Usually, they are out of almost everything and you're stuck with whatever is left sitting out in the warmers. The Sycamore Road location seems to be much better. My husband and I went in tonight and were greeted by Alison, behind the counter. The first thing she said was, "If there is anything you'd like that isn't out, just let me know and we'll be happy to make it for you." That was SO nice, after our usual experiences at the Lincoln Highway location, and even the tollway location. The restaurant was clean, and the food was fresh. They also seemed to have a great selection of choices. Also, I noticed that Alison was making sure that everyone was given the same courteous service we got. She's changed our minds about this restaurant. We'll definitely go back to this location for a quick, hot meal. read more
