Absolutely horrible service I come here seven times a year for birthdays and our family and spend nearly $200 each time not including the times we eat out. I spends thousands literally here in a year. Not only did I have to wait nearly 2 hours for my pickup order that I scheduled ahead of time. The clerk was incredibly rude and condescending. He offered my husband a child sized drink and told her that he couldn't help that they got busy he'd have to wait an additional 20 to 30 minutes. Easy peasy drive-thru ordering on a snowy Saturday afternoon. My wife got the orange chicken and Beijing beef with fried rice and I got the honey sesame chicken with beef and broccoli. We were in and out of the line in under 4 minutes and that included a brief wait for one of the entrees that was just wrapping up being cooked. I stopped by here earlier tonight with my wife. We had received two free 2-entree plate coupons from the nice people at the Halloween Yelp Party. I went through the line and ordered a 2 entree plate and they asked me what side I wanted (it was included in the plate as indicated on the menu) and so I chose fried rice. Then for my 2 entrees I went with the black pepper chicken and the Beijing beef. Whenever I got up to the cash register there was some confusion on how to redeem the coupon even though it had very specific instructions at the bottom about how to redeem it. After some discussion the employees decided that we would get two entrees free and that we had to pay for the side. We tried to explain to them that we ordered a "2 entree plate" as per the coupon and that even their menu showed it coming with the side included. I know I didn't ask for the side but only for a two entree plate. The employees, Jenny and Danny, once again tried to explain that it was only for 2 free entrees even if the coupon stated "2 entree plate". We asked to talk to the manager and they said that they were. Finally after 5 minutes of arguing we gave up and paid for the sides. The ironic part is that whenever I finally looked at my receipt, I noticed that they actually rang us up for 1 plate and put in a half off coupon. So they didn't even do what they were telling us they did. As for the food, it was ok. It was after all premade Chinese food sitting out already so it was not really warm. The bottom line for me is that I will not head back here again in the future. I've been here twice... unfortunately, that was two more times than I should have gone. My biggest complaint- the food is absolutely terrible and they aren't cooking anything properly. My chicken entrees were undercooked and slimy both times. I had been hoping the first Bad experience was because they were just getting used to their processes due to recently opening, but giving them the benefit of the doubt upon my second visit was a mistake. Burger King and McDonald's are significant upgrades compared to the food I was given at this Panda Express. Upon my first trip, I was excited and had high hopes for quality since this is in a nice area in Cranberry. Although, it seems as though quality is the least of their concerns as they are (for the moment) guaranteed a steady stream of business due to their location. The drive-through line took at least 15 minutes with only two cars ahead of me and they tried to offer a different entrée because the one I wanted was going to take an additional five minutes since they did not have it ready. It took an additional 15 minutes as I waited in their parking lot. The most disappointing part was that the chicken was undercooked and slimy. I can't begin to explain how gross the consistency of this meat was and even traditional dishes like General Tso's are soggy, bland, and never taste freshly cooked. For those who haven given good reviews, I question if they've ever eaten here... Panda Express in Cranberry is a HUGE disappointment and will not last long if they continue serving disgustingly cooked meals. read more

This place has beautiful food presentation and a very attentive staff. Hot food is displayed behind deli-style glass. Cool, Edison-style bulb lighting in wooden bubble chandeliers and beer-hall tables dominate the dining room. Unfortunately, the food ain't that good. I ordered a Bigger Plate (Pick A Meal comes in one of 3 choices: Bowl, Plate or Bigger Plate), which came with three entrées and a side...another entrée was comped, and I sampled 2 others, so I tasted 6 of their entrées. I tried the String Bean Chicken Breast, Kung Pao Chicken, Beijing Beef, Broccoli Beef, Sweet Fire Chicken Breast and General Tso's Chicken (which was not listed on the menu). Of the lot, the String Bean Chicken Breast was the best, with Broccoli Beef a close runner-up. The others looked great in the pans, but, considering how beautiful the dishes were, they were surprisingly disappointing...flavors just didn't match appearances. Unlike most cheap Chinese buffets, where the veggies are always limp and the meats are tough, everything I had was properly cooked...the sauces were just off. I also had mixed vegetables as a side. They had absolutely no seasoning...how bland is that? Another issue I had was that my meal was served in a three-compartment white Styrofoam takeout container, accompanied by el cheapo plastic flatware... It was so incongruent with the stylishness of the place. Kind of funny to see all these people sitting around eating out of Styrofoam containers. What with half the customers wearing Steeler's gear, it felt like a tailgate party...sort of. Too bad, because the place is really attractive. I stop in regularly because the food is tasty and healthy, but also leave without eating regularly because they are usually out of more than one item, usually leaving choices I can't or don't want to eat. I asked tonight why it was so and the employee mumbled something about a food truck and frozen meat. Didn't offer a rain check or anything. Additionally, my only delivery experience included forgetting part of the order. Finally we were asked to place our order. We asked for a plate and were told they were out of fried rice, but had white or chow mein. I choose white. OOOPs - they then reported they were out of that too. Chow Mein was the only option. So I asked if I could just order the entree - but she kept on the chow mein and now said we could do mixed veg. I asked again - "Can I just order the entree alone?" The response was "Well you can get a side a la carte if you want." What?? I was just told you were out of sides? The store is still open for two and a half hours. How are they totally out of rice? We pulled through. Place seemed like they had gotten busy when they weren't expecting it I guess? They had a line of people waiting for fried rice and noodles and they weren't really moving the line.
