I had just moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to little Forest Grove when they threw up the construction sign for this Panda, and once completed was impressed with how aesthetically pleasing it is compared to others I've been to. Inside is spacious and clean. Most of the employees are young but I've always received great service. I prefer the drive-thru to dining in because of how efficient they are - I timed it one day and it only took 2 minutes for them to take my order, ring me up with a sincere smile, and send me on my way! The main issue I have with this location is the food, as it lacks in quality a bit. Majority of the meat choices are usually on the dry side, I've gotten entrees that I could tell had sat out for too long, and the veggies are usually not as fresh as I would hope for. I always get a side of chow mein with my order, and 80% of the time it is 90% old cabbage, 10% noodle. I love my veggies but when they only taste like the oil they were cooked in I lose interest. I will continue coming to this location for convenience but when I'm in the mood for real flavor I'll be looking elsewhere. read more

On the way back from the coast we decided to grab a bite from here. They have a new brisket plate and I do love brisket. I was charged a premium so an extra $1.95 which is not bad for brisket. I , as soon as I got home , opened my meal it looked delicious.my first bite brought back memories of how the beef tasted in the beef stew MRE from way back when I served, it was not special, not tasty or savory but was just dry chewy and lacking what you'd expect in a brisket. As I sit here writing my review I'm still chewing. Live and learn and I'll never order brisket from this place again but stick to the good ol orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. 3/5 stars perfectly describes this Panda Express location. The food is good more of the time than it is bad and I cannot recall a time they've messed up my order. My only gripes with this location is sometimes the portions they give you are small, an example would be you order orange chicken but all you get are little popcorn sized pieces instead of a normal bite. And my other small thing is sometimes it seems the workers have a bit of a passive aggressive attitude but like I said its a lot better than other places like Taco Bell. I would really recommend NOT wasting your money by going through the drive through at this location. Friday evening I ordered a Bigger plate, with Rice and 3 side orders, which were supposed to be comprised of 2 orders of Beijing beef and 1 order of Black pepper steak. What I got was about a one-half order of beijing beef and about one-half order of Black pepper steak - for which I paid a premium of an extra $1.50! The 2 HALF ORDERS of beef each had about 6 small pieces of beef in it and no vegetables, along with about 1 1/2 cups of rather bland l fried rice. When I got home I was absolutely astounded at the cheapness of this meal that I just paid $12 for. Absolutely pitiful. I recommend not going to this location, but if you do, you will likely get cheated if you go through the drive through! I can tell you one thing for sure - if Mandarin China in Forest Grove ever opens back up, go there instead! The food is MUCH better, and you get three times the food for the same price. read more

Panda Express is ok fast food and you know what you are getting at any location. For this location, if you don't order on line or do drive through, don't bother. I've tried a couple of times to go in(I like to see that it's fresh) and waited over 20 minutes and there's only a couple of people in front of me. I placed a delivery order on their app. We got a confirmation and estimated delivery time. Over an hour later I call them to ask where our order is and they said it can't be delivered because of a name issue on the order (it was under my fiancés name) and that they wouldn't give a refund and there was nothing they could do. So we decide to drive 20 minutes to go pick it up only to find out that a door dasher spoke with the manager and picked it up at bring to us. Terrible terrible service. Bruh, I had a shockingly bad experience here to the point I had to write my first review ever. On Friday, September 1st I got into the drive-thru at 12:58 pm. I ordered a bowl with fried rice, chow mein, and super greens. I was told by the girl at the window that the super greens would take 7 minutes to cook and if I was okay with it, I decided it was worth the wait and not a big deal at all so I waited in the parking lot like instructed after paying. After 12 minutes in the parking lot I went inside to check if my food was ready and they had just forgotten to bring it out, after asking the girl at the counter about it she said they STILL needed to cook the super greens which bothered me but not too much. At this point I thought the super greens would take less than 7 minutes to prepare as it was the initial wait time I was given for the order as a whole. Turns out after coming into the restaurant it took another 12 minutes for my order to be done. In my time waiting it was never communicated to me how long the order would take, the only compensation I had for my time was being frantically asked if I'd like free appetizers, and a quick sorry. It took a whole 25 minutes to get my order out, not including the time spent in the drive-thru this is over 3x the estimated wait I was given and I had only chosen to get Panda Express over a sit down Chinese restaurant due to its shorter wait time so obviously I was upset. I will add that the staff was not hostile nor rude, but the sheer incompetence, lack of communication, and lying about the wait time was disrespectful. The worst part is that once I had actually gotten to school to eat the food that the super greens that took 25 minutes to make were raw, legitimately bit into it and it crunched like a piece of salad bar broccoli. The worst part of it being so undercooked was that the raw cabbage definitely messed with my stomach. They're no longer allowing customers inside the store, but there's no signage indicating this outside. Drive thru seems to be operating normally, and they have an order and pickup station outside due to Covid-19 but there's no rain coverage so everything is covered with water and they expect you to wait outside. If you have a choice, I would strongly NOT recommend this location to others. Hillsboro is much friendlier and they actually have outdoor coverage for ordering and pickup. read more

We pretty much live around the corner and my daughter loves Panda. This location by far gives the smallest servings of them all. They also forget half the stuff you order and of you want extra sauces you better ask for them a few times. They charge the same though. Today's visit to the Cornelius Panda Express on Baseline was the absolute worst experience ever. I should have known things weren't going to be good when we walked into an empty restaurant. Even though we were the only people in the place, the employees seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than taking my order. After a few minutes of waiting, one of counter staff peeled herself away from her conversation and asked what I would like. Being a veteran of PE, I knew exactly what I wanted, but, as I was giving her the first of my three orders, she went back to talking to her friend and, when she was finished, had to ask me to go over my order again. This same rude behavior was repeated four times. Two of the entrees I requested were not on the steam tray and had to be prepared. So engaged in her side conversations was she that our counter helper did not follow up with the cooks and they did not start our entrees until another employee asked what was going on with the plates still sitting idle on the counter. More waiting... After 15 minutes, our friendly counter assistant bagged up our now very cold meals and without a "sorry for the wait" handed over the bag and went back to talking to her friends. Then, as if guided by some invisible hand of ill fate, when we got home, we discovered one of the fortune cookies we were to receive was an empty bag... So much like our experience... It will be a cold day in Shanghai before I go back to this Panda Express location. read more

I am extremely upset about my experience on 9/25. I placed and order via Mobile App. The app stated my order would be ready at 6:30p. I come in and inside they have a sign that states ONLINE ORDER PICKUP. I waited and then finally around 6:40p after another person came in for an online order pickup got the attention of the staff. They kept coming to the register to ring people up and then just turn and walk always. When we finally got the attention of a staff member they asked for the name of the order and I mentioned it. They didn't even have it read yet. So I had to wait for them to completed the order. I was short on time and I got my order and left. Yet to find out that the order was not correctly at all. I had ordered 1/2 Chow Mein, 1/2 Fried Rice, Honey Sesame Chicken Breast, The Original Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken Egg Roll and a large Coke. Yet I never got the Kung Pao they replaced it with some slimy chicken mushroom and green beans or something. The Chicken Egg Roll was extremely nasty. When I look at the recent orders in my app it says the order was picked up at 6:28p which isn't true because I didn't get my actual order until 6:45p because I had to wait for them to put it together when I finally got the attention of a staff member. I tried to call the place to like the app says when you have an issue with order and no one answer. I am sorry if you were going to have a sign for online order pickup then maybe you should have someone over there helping or have someone just at the register. There was plenty of people (to many hands) packing the food so there was plenty of people. If you say something will be done at a certain time then it needed to be done at that time. This isn't the first time that I have had problems with this location. Last time was the 9/10, they closed the lobby for pickup due to air quality. I understand that but there was no not stating that you had to go through the drive-thru. I tried to call the store to find out how to pick up the order yet no one answered. So I had to sit through the drive-thru while seeing SEVERAL employees going in and out of the store multiple times. Which I do not understand why you couldn't have called and told them you were there and they could have Brought the order to the door or why even close the lobby when your employees are going in and out of the door. read more

This is my 4th time here, hoping that their quality would get better, being that this restaurant is recently new in town. It hasn't got better. I think it might be getting worse. Something needs to be done, because every time I go, the entrée I ordered are dried out, have no sauce and pretty much no flavor. All the other chains, are very fresh tasting, plenty of sauce & good flavor. I'll still go to Panda Express, but not the one on Baseline Ave. read more
