The service was incredible, they required masks but it's covid so we understood and came prepared. A lady came in and caused a massive scene! My friend and I visited Panda Express in cedar on 8/7. We were at the drive through and I ordered a family pack to take home. Asked for a separate order for my friend who was also ordering a family pack. The girl at the drive through said "well we just got a rush and you basically took all our food." And I said "well, it's a fast food drive through, can't you just make more." They did in fact, make more food. We had to wait about ten minutes which we didn't mind. This is such a great place food-wise. Very fresh and always delicious. However, the employee by the name of Justin is very rude to his fellow workers. While we were there we saw some rude interaction and were very disappointed to see this in front of customers. Not good and Not very professional at all! I recommend this place for good food! ABSOLUTE WORST. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I paid $5 for a side of Beijing beef. I didn't want a full meal, but enough to curb my hunger. HUGE MISTAKE. It was about 5 pieces of beef. No more than five bites. Not your typical Panda Express. Counter help seemed like they were victims of a hostile take-over. No eye contact and seemed bored and very uninterested as we ordered our selections. Table tops hadn't been wiped down and garbage cans were overflowing. Perhaps just prior to our arrival they had been slammed with a lunch crowd but it was quiet while we were there. The chow main was undercooked and the manager gave us a lot of attitude when we tried to tell him that the noodles were undercooked. Usually I hate eating at Panda Express (especially at the location near my home in Salt Lake City), but this experience was a lot better. Went to get a fast snack tonight. Going to Panda, you pretty much know what you're going to get unless you've never eaten at a Panda. But tonight my wife and I were really surprised at how generous they were with both of our plates: generous scoops of chow mein, fried rice and orange chicken. Not so hot customer service. I've been here many times as I like the food, but the staff are pretty apathetic to anything. Online express ordering? Forget about it! I stood ignored in the express lane for quite a while. I get that this is fast food, but others in town are just as busy and are at least attentive and pleasant, while panda express employees are not. Extremely rude staff members. I ordered online and came in to pick it up. I thought I could go through the drive thru but online it said I had to go inside, skip the line and show them my order. So I did, there were no signs on the doors saying I needed a mask so I went straight to the counter. They told me I needed a mask and I asked if they had any, I would happily put one on. They didn't. So I asked if I could just get my order. They then ignored me. 10 minutes went by and another worker asked me what I needed I said I'm picking up an order. My favorite place to go when I am in town with all the kids in tow for an all-day shopping trip. You can't feed 6-8 people for cheaper and more filling than you can at Panda Express. I am giving this place 2 stars solely based on the fact that the manager who was working around 6pm on October 2nd is a total sh*thead. My best friend and I are on a cross country move, and we had been driving around 8 hours by the time we got in to Cedar City and needed to eat. We enjoyed panda in San Diego and figured we would enjoy it here too. The food was fine. HOWEVER, the manager with the glasses should be fired. A very sweet girl took our order and started dishing portions. I guess you have to write some kind of code for what type of food was ordered on the box, so we wrap around to the next part of the counter and the manager starts putting the wrong items in our boxes. We express this, and he was easily flustered, and then began to take it out on the VERY POLITE GIRL who helped us. Even if she made a mistake with the coding, the correct way to remedy is definitely not berating her in front of customers. I chimed in and told her she didn't do anything wrong, because really, she didn't, and as a MANAGER, you should have remained calm and said oh I'm sorry what did you want in your box - and then speak with her privately if there was really an issue. The manager got our orders wrong twice even when we stood right there in front of him. It took 5 whole minutes to resolve what the heck we ordered, because of the manager being rude and not listening to anyone but the voices in his head, I'm guessing. And then he turned around and punished this very nice girl by immediately making her take out all the trash in the restaurant. I do remember her name, but won't say it for fear he will punish her more. We recognize the trash thing as a punishment because we have worked in the service industry before and have experience with crappy things managers do to retaliate against employees for their own shortcomings. The manager needs to go or needs an attitude adjustment. We felt so bad for this girl. We feel bad for the entire staff when he's working. I'm so sorry you have to deal with him. This is the first time I have left a poor review for a restaurant. I didn't even get to eat here. When I got there, people were inside ordering/eating but the door was locked. I customer saw I was locked out so she opened the door for me. An employee then said the lobby is now closed so I couldn't come in, but that I could stand outside and order. So I went outside. Three stars because of the poor service I received in the drive thru here in Cedar City. Food was decent though.

I don't even know where to start with this. I understand labor shortages and lacking customer service by my experience at this Panda Express was the most frustrating thing I have ever been through. I placed my order with a gentleman standing outside beside the menu and he was polite. He took my order and even answered a few questions on cook times. I was able to make my payment with him as well. After he took my payment he politely reminded me to mention at the window if I wanted additional items; like sauce, plates, etc. I get to the window, and this is where my experience went downhill QUICKLY, the person who handed me my order didn't even acknowledge my existence. He handed me my food by saying here is "this one" like there will be another bag coming. I put the bag on my floorboard and then waited for him to acknowledge me again so I may ask for additional items. I waited for five minutes while three employees standing in front of the window and NO ONE said a word. I finally got his attention and asked for plates and sauce. He proceeds to put them in the next person's order and starts to hand me their items. I had to yell "Sir" to get him to stop and listen to me. I proceeded to state what I wanted and he handed me the plates like it was MY fault. Like I was the one who didn't know what they were doing. read more

Bad Call Food worst ever, bad customer service, food appeared to be sitting on steam table for 1/2 the day. This franchise owner has decided to cut his overhead by cutting out brown rice - yes, other Panda Express restaurants still serve it - and, more importantly, by cutting the amount of food you get through takeout. Bowls have now been reduced significantly but the price hasn't gone up. Shame on you. This is a small community and your patrons will make or break your business. Who doesn't love them some Panda Express, right....Well just don't eat from this Panda Express. Super busy on a Friday afternoon with lines to the door. We got take out and 3 of the 4 of us got sick. What the 3 had to eat in common that the 4th didn't, Chow Mein.. Maybe they were in such a rush to get food ready that they didn't prepare it or cook it properly. The drive through forgot my eggrolls but didnt charge me. I went inside and they were very apologetic and gave me my eggrolls for free.
