I went to Panda Express yesterday and ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp bowl. The shrimp itself was very good, as usual. In my opinion, the meats here are usually the best part of the meal, whether it's the shrimp, chicken, or beef. My issue is almost always with the sides. I ordered a bowl with half rice and half vegetables, and unfortunately the sides were disappointing. The rice often seems undercooked or lacking flavor, and the noodles usually look and taste rubbery. This time, I could already tell by looking at the noodles that they were not going to be good. The vegetables also did not taste fresh or properly cooked. The broccoli and cabbage tasted almost raw, which made the meal less enjoyable. Since I was really hungry and had not eaten lunch, I forced myself to eat it, but it still was not satisfying. I do enjoy the Honey Walnut Shrimp, and that is probably the main reason I still consider Panda Express sometimes. However, the side dishes really need improvement. Customers should not have to pay for rice, noodles, or vegetables that are bland, rubbery, or undercooked. After this experience, I would rather bring my lunch from home. At home, you know exactly what is going into your food. As a consumer, I believe it is my right to give an honest review, and this is mine. read more

I like that they use clean ingredients and no MSG. My chicken lo mein and bourbon chicken rice combo was good. Not great service . The workers they currently have are jaded by the area and don't respect the patrons . I will admit you have a big population of homeless and drug addiction however you also have students and working class in the area . The food also reflects their feelings some say it good and other days it's mediocre. I love Panda Express but the more experiences I have with staff at this location I will not be patronizing them anymore . The attitudes , the lack of food consistency and the cleanliness of the location has me not wanting to go to any Panda Express and everyone that spends their money should also consider spending their money elsewhere . read more

I already said from my other review of Panda Express is that you need to come early. As for this particular location they just need better training in how to properly prepare their food. I guess that's why they are hiring. The flavors are all off. My Honey Walnut Shrimp tasted completely different from both locations I've been to. So maybe in due time it will get better. Arrived at 8:30 PM when they close at 9:30 PM, they are already out of super greens and not making any more. Food was great , staff , place was clean like vibe in general but now like how did the owner let that place go. The staff is just horrible . I ordered from this place through Uber Eats at 6:06PM, only to have my order cancelled at 7:43PM. I called the restaurant twice, and both times the female employee (who's name I cannot recall) was extremely rude and unhelpful. First time I called was to ask for an update; she said they were waiting for the driver to pick up the order and that it was ready. I called the driver and he told me he was waiting for the order, so I called a second time and the same rude employee said their orders are backed up and mine was in fact not ready. I showed up a few minutes after the appointed time, walked to the pickup window and was ignored by the cashier standing two feet away for so long I finally had to say, "I'm here for an online pickup." Orange chicken never fails here, nor the walnut shrimp. This is a new eatery here in the Fordham Road area. There are now more franchise eateries opening up, showing that the neighborhood is changing and many Manhattan residents are making home of The Bronx. A setbacks. Whilst the food is fresh and hot, the man power for the most part are young and energetic, but with that comes the know it all and the I know what I am doing and I dont need your help or critique. Last two times I have visited the issue has been at checkout, and not knowing how to handle coupons. The common areas are clean, and the garbage cans are not overflowing. Clean tables and a sonething that is rare in NY, A CLEAN RESTROOM... A non extras meal with rice or noodles and two sides and a drink will cost you around ten dollars (approximately) some sides like Shrimp and Angus beef will cost you around two dollars extra. I ordered through Uber eats and when I got my food it had missing items. I ordered 2 Plates, each were suppose to have chow mein and fried rice and instead it was all rice in one plate and all chow mein in another. I called Uber eats to explain the situation and they said for me to reorder my order and that they would call the restaurant to make sure it was expedited, considering they got the order wrong.
