I was nearby at the hospital visit g a relative and was pretty hungry. I walked in, and saw there was no line! I couldn't believe because in Brooklyn and Manhattan this place is always jam packed. I place my easy for a small macaroni and cheese and fries, along with a mango passion lemonade. The employee was very friendly and my order came out quickly. This location was very clean and they had an employee who would immediately clean up when people left the table.

Chick-fil-A deluxe entree sandwich $7.65 (meal $13.19)

Chick-fil-A has been on my food bucket list for almost perennially. This is a newly open location in Marble Hill, The Bronx, NYC. The ordering and pick-up lines moves moderately. There is also a separate pickup line for mobile ordering and online ordering to meet the demands of e-commerce. Customer service is friendly and warm. I have long been intimidated by their gargantuan lines in all Manhattan, NYC locations when my one hour lunch allotted time is concluded; therefore; I made a valiant effort to trek the long-haul queue. Astonishingly, the ordering line moves moderately without waiting over thirty minutes... whoa! Upon entering a staff member distributed menus while you stand on line to decide and wait to order which expedite the ordering queuing process. For the healthy conscious mindfulness foodies, the menu contain the respective calories for monitoring one's weight. I did attain a brief glimpse of the executive owners and managers who were on the premise for Opening Day, November 9, 2023 for business check-in. This location is gargantuan retail space with abundant standing room and seating very bright with abundant modern lighting, but due to COVID-19 wary I decided to carry away. My Sisyphean Task lunches is no longer boring as a Queens native commuting to the Bronx enlightens my workday. I decided on the Chick-fil-a deluxe meal $13.65. The chicken was very moist and flavorful. The boneless breast of chicken, is indeed, seasoned very well with dill pickles, large green leaf lettuce, tomato and American cheese served on a toasted buttered bun. The bun is a mock of brioche bun. I decided on their signature lemonade and waffle potato chips. Condiments are complimentary which I am awestricken, but grateful. Having to spend $15.30 (including NYC sales tax) is surely a one-time splurge worth the meal and now I can checked the box from my food bucket list. Nota bene: Restroom facility access code is written on the bottom of the sales receipt.

Of course, I have heard of Smashburger brand name but did not patronize due to the inopportunity to travel and the time. All in all, burgers are not my favorite food. However, I have a strong predilection for Jackson Hole burgers for their intense juiciness and flavor when holding it in your hand for a bite - never dry. With an open mind, I entered without any preexisting judgment for burgers or any brand name, chain restaurants burgers image or quality but a focused lunch for enjoyment. We decided to dine in for our lunch away from the constant stream of work related interruptions calling my name for assistance and frivolous inquiries to fully enjoy our meal. It took nearly twenty minutes - too long for our food to arrive. This Smashburger location sits in Kingsbridge, Bronx in a small shopping complex adjacent to businesses AT&T, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Dunkin', Buffalo Wild Wings, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Baskin-Robbins. There is also a small parking lot for these businesses. It is very accessible via MTA NYC Transit 1 local train at 238th Street subway station. I did received my sales receipt. At the bottom of the sales receipt contains the bathroom access code. This bathroom code is time sensitive and changes days later. Double Classic Smash $9.99 (2 orders) Two certified Angus beef, with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, ketchup, butter toasted bun. The bun was nice and fluffy, but it was not buttery in taste. I have a strong predilection for brioche bread. There were no "Smash sauce" included as I had to add a lot of ketchup for flavor to taste, but the red onions and pickles were good. The lettuce was fresh and a generous large portion covering the entire burger. The beef was average although certainly above average than the standard McDonald's proceeded meat. My colleague/friend ordered the Scorchin' hot fries $4.09 which she enjoyed along with melted cheddar cheese sauce cup $4.99. I do not consume spicy hot food in any format. Surely, spicy hot foods are not my cup of tea. Fountain drink $3.29 Refillable and self-serve 20 oz. At first I selected the unsweetened black ice tea which is really unsweetened and utterly bland. I prefer hot teas that are unsweetened. The Dragon fruit was refreshing delight that it was completely sold out. We both have a big fat compliant for their beverages: why no ginger ale soda? Why are there two variations of Coke Cola (diet Coke and Zero Coke)? Ginger ale is the only type of soda that I consume which entice my interest. I have no preference for brand name ginger ale, but this is utter blatant discrimination for omission and exclusivity against ginger ale soda. Milk shakes do not entice my drink interest.

Upon entering, there was no staff present at the front register, people were sitting down eating, so I proceeded to begin placing my order using the tablet available. While I was still in the process of selecting items, a staff member came out from the kitchen and stated that the kitchen had already closed for the night, and implied that I should not continue ordering. I expressed my confusion, noting that the business was still listed as open for another hour. While I understand that operations may begin winding down shortly before closing, closing the kitchen an entire hour early without any notice is both misleading and inconvenient. Clear communication regarding operating hours is essential for customer trust and satisfaction. If the kitchen closes earlier than the posted business hours, that information should be clearly stated online and at the location to avoid situations like this.

Very convenient location for me to just run in and grab a quick taco or two and get back to where I need to be. I feel like this area did need a TB so it is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Cheezy Gordita Crunch is prob my favorite right now to order. Doritos Locos Taco is one I am kind of just sick of at the moment, in most cases would rather get Taco Supreme in the regular hard shell. Staff is pretty nice and again, location is just convenient for me in the Bronx itself to drop in. Still new and still pretty clean for now, at least.

I order at a minimum atleast once a week from this location, mainly via Uber Eats and ever so often through the drive through. I've gone inside several times just to order and go. The food is always great, the burgers are always done perfectly with no soggy buns or anything missing. The large fries are always large fries (iykyk) my favorite thing to get is the caramel frappe. The food is always packaged with care. The only thing that irritates me is that they do not include a straw with your drinks when you order via Uber Eats, they will only include it if you remember to add a straw for the amount of a penny ... but if you in person they add it in the bag or you can literally just take as many as u want. The drive through is fast and efficient even when packed which is rare for the drive through side. sometimes they don't hear you properly so you have to make sure to double check the screen to make sure they added all your items in the order. The main reason for the 3 stars is because this isn't a place I would feel safe sitting in to eat and definitely not come with my kids to sit down. There's almost always questionable "teenagers"involved in questionable things with loud music right outside the McDonald's. And more questionable people inside. Before 230 it isn't chaotic and you probably could sit down to eat but after and during that time it's crowded. Around 5:30 it gets PACKED. I prefer and will be sticking by to Uber Eats or the drive thru, my food is always prepared fast and correctly..and takes no time to get to me. TIP: I recommend you download the McDonald's app to collect rewards (free food) the points accumulate fast. You also can request pick up, delivery, table service meaning they bring your order to your table by requesting it via the app. You can switch the location depending on where you're at or the app will find a McDonald's near you.
