I ordered Wendy's via the Uber app. My order arrived quickly & the food was hot. My complaint is that the meals that I ordered were incorrect. I ordered a spicy asiago chicken sandwich with the works and they sent me a regular chicken sandwich which is substantially less in price than what I ordered. I also ordered a Dave's single cheeseburger but I was given a regular cheeseburger. How sway???? I noticed when you are not present to be an advocate for your food they will just throw anything in the bag which is unfair to the customer. As much as I love me some Wendys, I have to say this particular location is a mess. Every time I use the drive thru I am either missing something or the order is wrong. Its frustrating because you get home and realize it and cant go back to fix the problem. They are in such a rush that they don't seem to pay attention. Ordered through Uber Eats and you would think they would get the order right. All the breakfast potatoes that were ordered with the combos and separately were missing. Like how does that happen? Not gonna hate on the place and say it's horrible, I go there for lunch with my friends sometimes and it isn't bad. My usual order is a large $5 Biggie bag (Bacon Double Stack, Large fries, Large drink, and a 4-piece nuggets) and it never disappoints. Only pproblem in terms of food is I never get BBQ, but that isn't a problem either because the food is good without the sauce. The only reason this gets a 3 and not a 4 or a 5 is because the staff are rude (One server gave me attitude as if I did something to ruin her day) and the wait time for food sometimes is crazy, even when the shop isn't full. This my spot! I love Wendy's and this is the closest one to where I live. They never fail me... I remember there was a point where I was here like 3 times a week... Their food is always fresh and service is always polite. Open till 2 am at the drive through, couldn't ask for a better late night run... Wendy's alone speaks for itself, but this wendy's is great! :) Side note - This is not the typical fast food joint that has your food ready as soon as you finish putting in your order. I'm a Wendy's aficionado and it's really the only fast food place I ever go into. So obviously when I saw the commercial for their new chicken tenders, I knew I had to go try them. So I went. I shouldn't have. Unfortunately, I was NOT impressed. They appeared to be, in my opinion, just ur basic run of the mill chicken tenders. Like the kind u buy from the frozen food aisle at ur local Stop & Shop. Very bland with no type of flavor whatsoever. The menu states that they are "lightly breaded and seasoned with simple ingredients that you can find in your own pantry." I'm assuming by "seasoned with simple ingredients" they mean "seasoned with hope and expectation". As far as their new S'Awesome sauce...yes, that's really what it's called: S'Awesome sauce...that wasn't great either. I'm not even sure what flavor it really was. It's described on their menu as "tangy, sweet, and smoky". It was neither one of those things. The only thing that comes to mind is maybe Thousand Island dressing but spicier. As per their press release, it took them 2 years and lots of tweaking to perfect this sauce. (insert eyeroll here). I won't be buying them again.
