I've been been meaning to stop here for awhile so when a spicy chicken craving hit the other week I decided it was Dagiya's time to shine. I ordered online and happy I did because when I walked in was surprised to see a tiny dining area and really dark. It's an order at the counter type of restaurant too. I walked in, was acknowledged with a Gen Z stare and I did all of the talking. The portions are huge and the Yangnyum chicken was enough for us to split so bonus points there. I would stop here again for food to go and would hope for a better pick up experience.

I don't have many pictures because hubby and I usually scarf it down as soon as it arrives. Today I got hubby a roast beef on the everything roll. I got it spicy with chipotle mayo, spicy giardinara, and jalapeño pepper jack. He was declaring how tasty it was with every mouthful he took. Another bonus is they don't just have Dr. Pepper but they have diet Dr. Pepper too. Honestly I'm addicted. I want to try everything they have. It travels very well too.

The Box Combo consists of four chicken fingers, crinkle fries, cole slaw, lightly buttered Texas toast, Cane's sauce and a drink. The bonus is that you can get Cane's delicious homemade lemonade as your drink ( or 1/2 lemonade and 1/2 sweet or unsweetened tea). The fingers have shrunk a bit in size in the last couple of years, but they are still delicious. There is not a lot of mayo in their cole slaw, but it has a lot of flavor. I prefer my texas toast and fries crispy, and find that most times they are not cooked as well done as I like, but after putting them in my toaster oven once I'm home, I'm able to get them just how I like them. The kids working at Cane's are always very nice, and I love that the business partners with local schools for fundraising opportunities. The drive up line is always quite long, so I usually order on the app and do curbside pickup. Also, be sure to sign up for their Candace Club as you get a free combo box for your birthday and other offers throughout the year.

He seemed a bit nervous and asked the manager about it and that manager was so patient and helpful to that young man. The manger then went to the register and showed him how to ring the items up as it's a different way than the food. He guided him and was encouraging him the whole time. The manager went in back to get me my CANE leg lamp plushie out of a brand new box. As I was waiting I had a chance to observe the crew working and handling the drive thru. Wow they were all into of their game and it was a good cohesive bunch. It makes sense to see this as whenever I go thru the drive thru everything is always correct and given to me in an appropriate time and NEVER with contempt or a bad attitude. There was a crew member who was making kids meals bags and asked if I wanted some stickers to go with my Christmas story plushie, they were also Christmas story themed. Anyhow I like this Canes and I will be back.
