It's been many, many years since I've eaten at a Panda Express. I used to eat it at the Coronado Mall location almost 30 years ago. I decided to try this location and see if it lived up to my memory. I went through the drive thru to order. The employee was kind and patient as I looked over the menu. I placed my order, and he clarified what I ordered, and repeated it back to me. I didn't have to wait long in the drive thru. I made payment at the window and they had my food right out to me. I drove home. I pulled my food out and dug in. My orange chicken was as I remembered it, but the rice and noodles were a little on the dry side. My soy sauce improved the texture and flavor. read more

We've been to this Panda Express a few times and the service is always great. I always do pick-up orders bc it's so convenient. This visit was particularly unique bc my aunt decided to treat us for dinner. She lives in another state, so she had to be thorough with getting the order correct. Well, somehow the order fell through bc she needed to authorize the charge, and didn't realize it until the next day. So, when I arrived to pick up the order, the manager tried to explain why they didn't have it made. It was a little embarrassing and sad, but the manager was really gracious and tried to offer me a 20% discount bc there was nothing else they can do. I ordered something small, thinking, I'll try again tomorrow. Now, it's present day, and the order was a success! The manager got a call from my aunt to make sure everything went through. I arrived early just in case. They were still finishing up my order, so while I sat and waited, the manager offered me a drink. It was a nice gesture and I appreciated it. I normally don't order drinks bc I have drinks at home. But I got to try their sweet tea, which was very good. I did half unsweet and half sweet. I ordered the Family Meal for 5 ppl. 3 Main 2 Sides: 2 Beef & Broccoli 1 Crispy Sesame Shrimp & Beef 2 Chow Mein, and on the side Medium Walnut Shrimp. It was a lot of food, and we now have leftovers. The food tasted great. I will say, the crispy parts got soggy with the sauce pretty quick. When I first tried the crispy beef, it was satisfying crispy. But maybe in the large, it was inevitable. Overall, I recommend this place. The place is clean and not crowded. Even though they do cook in batches, they did cook my walnut shrimp to order. Idk if they follow portion control to a tee, but I felt like they stuff the smaller boxes better/more than the bigger boxes. My only gripe was the minor inconvenience that they wouldn't honor my aunt's discount she used to purchase the original first order. She basically got 50% off bc she just downloaded the app. The Family Meal is still a great value at $40+ to feed 5+ ppl. read more

I went inside to get to go order and young lady to help me was polite. I would say all, but two or three of the items were stocked. I got two separate meals. One was a regular meal with two items, one being Honey walnut shrimp and the other item was orange chicken with lo mein. The second meal was a "bigger plate" to include 3 items plus filler option. I opted for half lo mein half greens with the three proteins being honey walnut shrimp., mushroom chicken & honey, sesame chicken breast. I was taking this food to the park to share with my girl so I needed to grab a couple drinks so I asked the cashier what her favorite was and she told me her favorite was the peach lychee lemonade. She said her second favorite was the watermelon mango so I opted for those two.. we need to go to the park and have lunch. The honey walnut shrimp was pretty good, although it wasn't crispy, orange chicken was fresh and hot. The lo mein was good and fresh. The mushroom chicken was tender, juicy tasting and very very fresh. I have to save it overall. It was probably the better of the last 25 Panda visits. I also wanted to add that the young lady was nice enough to give me more of the cabbage and spinach and not overly consume with broccoli on the green portion.. read more

The people here are really great at what they do. I assume she may be a manager, but there was a woman today who was absolutely on it. The rush was hitting, and she held a positive attitude and super cute glitter eyeliner. Overall, this location does a really solid job, and I come back often because of it. Plus, the orange chicken is always made to perfection and we've grown to really love the cream cheese rangoons! read more

Came to get bite to eat and they wouldn't let us in because they close their inside store at 9pm. We came at 8:45pm and the doors were locked. Why not post that you close at 8:30pm instead of saying you close at 9pm but lock the doors early read more

Panda Express - The time they say they close the actually store inside - Chinese Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Say hello to food poison. This is my second deal with this company and this particular location. They don't even know the difference between orange chicken in general sales chicken watch out the staff may be friendly, but there's a little treat inside every little bowl food there. Look at this response!! No apology!? I missed work and was projectile vommiting and he thanks me for the feed back! Talk about a back hand. Anyway this location has had over a 100 red flags. They won't do anything about it he's just trying to save face value. He only made himself look horrible. "Thanks for the feedback"!? What an ass read more

Consistently exactly what you expect from panda. Highly recommend getting whatever is freshest

First time a Panda Express has skimped on my entrees. Other than that it was fine but I definitely felt a little let down.

Not sure I can come back here. My daughter loves the orange chicken but I believe it has been switched out with the new spicier version I had read about. Or the spicy version and the regular version were mixed up and the workers are unsure which is which. I told the workers about the spicy taste and they said it had always been like that. I am not sure I believe this. When eating this new spicier version , my daughter was sweating bullets eating the chicken when she has had many times before and it has never affected her. I read more

The orange chicken is to spicy and it's not supposed to be? We get chow mein and there's more veggies than the noodles. We didn't pay for the veggies we paid for the noodles!!! I like the Panda on Montgomery better. Go there instead if you don't want your appetite ruined! read more

Orange chicken --was suppose to be sweet fire chicken? So over cooked! No white rice sadly this place is going down hill so fast---it used to be so good...but the girls at the window were so nice too bad they don't have the support and employees to make it run like a well-oiled machine read more

I entered the drive thru at 9:10 pm. I was told that they were out of food, an hour before they close, because the cooks stop cooking at 9:30. Which made no sense, because it wasn't 9:30. So, I went somewhere else. I've had this problem before at this location. The employees simply stop serving customers whenever they feel like it. read more

Sometime Panda Express is a hit and miss. Lately it's been more miss than a hit. Today after shopping my sister-in-law and I thought that this is quick and easy. The restaurant was not busy so we were able to order quickly and find seating easily. The staff was eager to serve us and extremely friendly. We found the dining room clean as well as the restrooms. So sis and I sat and chit chatted for sometime. So much for quick. During our lunch staff checked on us as thEy maintained their cleanliness of their establishment. We did notice a few transients that were treated with respect and Kindness, even when the made messes. James was courteous to everyone one and made an extra effort to make a our visit comfortable and enjoyable. So for this moment in time Panda Express has redeemed themselves read more

They were very busy but moving quickly , the manager James here is amazing . Great service from him !

I went during lunch, about 1230ish. I thought the food was going to be so yummy and fresh... hell no it wasn't. The chow Maine and broccoli looked and tasted old! It grossed me out! The only good was the orange chicken. This panda is not good! The cooks and staff need to do better! read more

They cut their veggies fresh on the daily so I'm already impressed. I love Asian food, but most places are too greasy and heavy for me. Panda Express is a chain and I've never been disappointed at any location. Fresh food, not too greasy, fast service, reliable taste. What more could one want from a fast food locale. I used their online ordering once and freaked out when my card was "pending" $130... In the ordering process, they asked what the max order would be and I guess it defaulted. In the end I was only charged for the cost of the meal. I went to retailmenot.com and got a GREAT deal. Buy one entrée, get one free for online orders only. Check it out! read more

In the past I have ordered our food online and my father would go pick it up. All he had to do was give the name, no problem. One need only look at the bad reviews here to know this place is a total Sh!t Show. I have personally been forced to use and waited in line for well over 20 minutes just to place an order in the drive through because the front doors locked to go inside. I have personally witnessed the employees being berated by management without any regard to who might be witness. I see seven employees. One working the window and one cooking. The others were doing what? I had to demand my money back after being told it would be another 30 minutes before I would receive my order after 20 minutes in the drive thru line and 20 minutes waiting out front. The smarmy employee did give me my refund which no apology forthcoming. WhenI said I would contact corporate about my experience the snarky response was "oh, they won't care" and couldn't have cared less. Well, we'll just see about that, bitch. BOTTOM LINE: AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Don't beleie the response from the company. CLEARLY if they cared as much as they say, they would have actually doe something about the lousy food and service. Give a local mom and pop place your business. They will appreciate you. This place doesn't give a rats ass and customer service is non-existent. This franchise is a DISGRACE and should be closed. read more

Worst panda express I've ever been to in my life. I waited in line for 45 minutes even though I had a mobile order. I went to the front of the lobby and this lady came out screaming at me telling me to get in line in the drive-through when I had already waited in the drive-through for 30 minutes. Now my food is been waiting around for an hour and the line is extending all the way out into a very busy street. Just avoid this Panda Express at all costs read more

Possibly the worst Panda Express I've been to. Came 2 weeks ago 1/2 hour before closing and they literally only had rice available and two entree options. Went again today, and ordered a two entree with orange chicken, broccoli beef and fried rice for lunch. While they had everything I ordered, the orange chicken was soggy, the broccoli beef was cold and the fried rice was undercooked. This is about my 5th time at this location and it has never been good. It's worth my time to drive to Pei Wei on Louisiana at this point. read more

We have gone here many times but this time was a total disappointment. I ordered the broccoli beef bowl. If there were any scraps of beef in the dish I needed a magnifying glass to see them. I see there are several other bad ratings for this location and we will have to go to a different location next time. read more

So I decided to try again after 3 yrs and sadly they again didn't meet my expectations. I ordered a bowl with rice and black pepper chicken yet it should have just been called a rice bowl. They packed so much rice and barely any chicken and had the nerve to charge over $9 for it. If I just wanted rice then I could make that at home. Please put a decent ratio of side to entree in the future. I didn't get a drink this time so that's why they got an increase of two stars. read more

The past couple years I've been going to this location they have put out consistent astounding quality Orange Chicken, fried rice and chow mein. The management deserves commendation and praise.
