This is our local go to for Chinese. I find the food to be good and typical for this kind of take out. (Panda is for all practical purposes a takeout restaurant as it only has maybe 1?or 2? tables. The vegatable soup is a favorite of mine. The vegatables are fresh and have a nice crunch. I also opt of chicken and broccoli very often and it is also very good. Other dishes, or at least the ones I've sampled, are good also. read more

The food was delicious and I enjoyed watching them cook. Only drawback is a filthy atm you have to use as they only take cash! That ATM created an issue with my card! Not happy about that. But I would order from ther again. read more

Food was GREAT But delivery would be great also not all of us drive it's hard at times to get to the location of good food at times read more

Great food- i got Large shrimp fried rice and SS chicken. As well as the crab Rangoon and it was all great. Price ended up being around 34 dollars. Service was simple enough you walk in they give you your food and you walk out. They werent rude and i had no issues. read more

I'm a native of Rochester NY,my wife put on to this spot 14 years ago and since I don't eat beef or pork for the past 20 something years I always like Shrimp fried rice with 4 chicken wings or Chicken fried rice with fried scallops they are the only Asian restaurant in this area that serves what I need for takeout unlike the one in LeRoy that doesn't serve fried chicken, fried scallops and/or fried fish with the Rice,Thank You Panda !!! read more

The food here is disgusting it has my stomach turning every time I now refuse to eat any Chinese food cause of this place. The service is horrible I live up the street and it takes 2 hours for the food to come and it's not even a big orders. I highly don't recommend. read more

This is my favorite Chinese go to in Batavia. It has the best flavor. The only downside is they only accept cash.

Food wasn't that good. I had the general Sue's chicken and it tasted old. It was no broccoli in it. Pretty disappointing for the price was extremely high for what we got read more

Though a little pricey compared to the menu on this app, it was overall a good experience. I had wontons, spring rolls, chicken with rice. Came up to nearly $30 but it was all good. Staff was friendly and communicated well. Will be ordering again in the future read more

This chinese place is better than others in Batavia. It is sometimes hard to understand what the staff are saying but that is expected. Its a small place with only 3 tables. Most people order out. When you order they get right on it to get it to you fast. Everytime I've been here it is never busy, but they do good business. Just remember they have a $10.00 limit when using a credit card. read more

Panda Chinese Restaurant - the outside of the building - Chinese Near Me - Batavia, New York

Panda was my go-to Chinese spot until I discovered Yume Asian Bistro. I haven't gone to Panda in about 6 months but my boyfriend got a gift card for his birthday so we decided to use it, we had called and order and asked ahead of time if the gift card was applicable and were told yes. Once he arrived to pick up the food he was told no gift cards? Frustrated, we chose another place to eat. Honestly, Yume is so much better with a much happier atmosphere for relatively the same price so I would recommend skipping Panda and getting Yume for better food and service! read more

We order from here all the time. Best Chinese in Batavia. Always fresh and hot. Only one time order was messed up. I ordered garlic chicken and when I got home there was no chicken, just veggies. I told them next time I went in and they made it right, no charge. Great family business. We will always come back here. And they remember me every time I come in. read more

My favorite place for Chinese since I was a teenager and I'm grown now But they have never been friendly read more

Our favorite for Chinese take-out. Lunch specials have generous portions, often leaving leftovers and are served until 3 pm. In addition to your entree, you choose pork fried rice or white rice; soup or crab rangoon. Prices are very reasonable. I love the Vegetable Egg Foo Young, not on the lunch menu, with a side of white rice. My vegan son loves L28, Bean Curd w/garlic sauce. Hubby prefers L26, Sesame Chicken. read more

Best chinese takeout I have ever had-the orange chicken was just the right crispness and great sauce. Its really a great value too-another guy that was in there when I was said he comes all the way from Albion for it. read more

Hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had. Don't get this confused with the yucky buffet on the other end of town. The people who run Panda arm always friendly. The food is made quickly and I've always been pleased with the quality. It's delicious! They have a few tables if you want to eat in or you can take out :) NOTE: They only take cash now and no delivery read more

This is hands down best Chinese Restaurant in local area! I have had alot off there menu over the last yr and its all been amazing. Fresh produce amd all cooked in front of u unless u call ahead. Most meals run around $10 but I find it being almost 2 meals with portions. So def can not complain! A definite recommendation if you want good Chinese! read more

Fantastic Chinese food for Batavia, where the options are very limited. Cash only, but worth it. Love the general this chicken and the lo mein is fantastic. I love to eat in when possible, perfect crispiness on the chicken! read more

Terrible service. Only accepts cash but doesn't advertise that and cannot be understood on phone. From out of state and hoping for a good dinner but nevermind. read more

My disabled veteran father & I along with his Service Dog went to Panda Chinese place to have our dinner August 8th about 5:30pm. We were served, but the one female server was very annoyed we had a LICENSED SERVICE DOG with us. She knew enough English to tell us "It okay this time, but next time he need to wait outside. No animal in restaurant". My father & I both tried to explain the dog was a full service dog, showing her his Service vest the dog was wearing, & also getting the paperwork out of my dad's wallet to show he has a legal right to have his dog at his side wherever he is. She wouldn't look at my dads a per work. Instead she kept telling us not to bring the dog back next time. The female server was annoyed with us trying to nicely tell her we CAN take his dog into restaurants & she thought we were lying. She stopped talking to us, acted like she didn't understand English, and refused to look at us while we explained the Dog situation. She kept redirecting her opinion that "No animal in NO restaurants!". My dad was very uncomfortable with the way this lady treated him by the way she insisted WE were wrong for bringing in a SERVICE DOG. My dad packed up what he had been eating at the table we were sitting at & asked me to take him someplace different to have dinner. My dad was nearly in tears. This place needs to UNDERSTAND the laws better about SERVICE DOGS. After we were treated this way, I do not recommend ANYONE give them business. A service dog for my dad, is my dad's entire life. To be told my father would refused service by Panda Restaurant the next time he goes back with the dog is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. We tried to explain that the Dog is LEGALLY able to go ANYWHERE my dad goes, but she wanted NOTHING to hear about it. Disabled Veterans or anyone else that is disabled that needs a service dog at their side, this restaurant is NOT acceptable of your service animal... EVEN THOUGH WITH PROVEN PAPER WORK THEU ARE LEAGAL TO BE AT THE DISABLED PERSON'S SIDE AT ALL TIMES. My dad said he is no longer doing business with this restaurant, & I didn't know what to do other than post a review about this place. I wish I knew how to pass this news on better somehow. I will not be recommending this place to anyone & I refuse to go here again. read more

Best Chinese Take-Out! Lo Mein is perfect and loaded with flavor. Haven't gone any where else since my first stop there two years ago.
