MaPo Tofu and Mongolian beef were great! Lots of vegetables. Bright, airy space and friendly server.

Limited options and pretty pricey. It's very nice inside. I wouldn't come back. Still room for improvement as they are a newer business

Our last few visits to the Chinese take out place in town had left us very disappointed. All of our…read morefavorite dishes just tasted, well, bad. We were looking for an alternative and stumbled across China Moon. I was surprised there weren't more reviews on Yelp but there were plenty of great reviews on the web so we gave it a try. We drove to China Moon and placed our order. 20 minutes later and a short drive home, we were very pleased with our dinner. The steamed dumplings were huge and delicious. The Singapore mei fun was tasty with big pieces of shrimp. The Phoenix and Dragon was unbelievable. We asked for it extra spicy but it still wasn't spicy enough for us. The jumbo shrimp was truly jumbo and tasted fresh. The chicken was tender and cooked perfect. The one dish we were split on was the Chicken Yaki udon. While I thought it was kind of bland, the other have of the family thought it was good. Everything was cooked well it just didn't knock my socks off. I'm very happy to have found China Moon. If you're in the Hamlin, Clarkson, Brockport area it is by far the best Chinese food around.

This is the the second time this has happened in the last 6 months. We couldn't even eat them we had to throw both containers out with the wontons they were so tough. We won't be ordering that again from there.

I was skeptical. New place that's only been open for a couple of months, Asian food in Rochester,…read moreespecially sushi... I wasn't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised tonight. The ambience is great, they've done a great job of decorating the place, the service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the miso soup, which was one of the best I've ever had, then had to get the Asia Nation dumplings, which lived up to the name and were very tasty, and split a spider roll and shrimp tempura roll for the main course, both of which were outstanding and flavorful. I am excited to come back here for a bunch of the "real"/raw sushi/sashimi as soon as possible. The only constructive criticism I could have is about a couple of the noises when dining in. They ring an old school bell when food is ready, which was a bit annoying and distracting. You can also hear the wok and utensils going in the back from the dining room, which again is a bit distracting. Otherwise, phenomenal experience and we will be back.

The latter has a sauce that is not typically found with a chicken broccoli dish and I think I like it better. I know I don't like it less. It comes with white rice or brown rice. Since I like the chicken and broccoli I don't often get the sushi but it looks really tasty coming out. They have a bento box lunch that my wife has had and liked on multiple occasions. The ramen is good but there are other ramen restaurants that I prefer. Service is always quick and pleasant. The restaurant itself is inviting with some tables and a counter.

I definitely recommend this place for a good all you can eat Chinese buffet, at a reasonable price…read more Now it doesn't look like much from the outside. I had stayed away from it in the past, because the strip mall looks rundown, their signage looks 30+ years. Do not let that fool you. The inside is very clean. I would call it the first trendy Chinese dive I've been to. That is a very high compliment, if that is your jam. If you know, you know. I did not take pics of the outside, it's a mess, with easy parking, that's all you need to know. BUT!!!!' I did take pictures of the Bathroom, TADA!!! Because we don't do that enough on yelp. Especially, when visiting cool dives. There are just certain things you want to know in advance. lol. I'm happy to report, they were very clean. We popped in on a whim. We didn't have a lot of time, but BF zipped in on a whim. it, Saving time on menus, ordering drinks etc.... Without eating typical fast food. It is hands down the best Chinese buffet in the area. If you do not live in Brockport, it's worth the drive. Or maybe plan some errands there. The inside is quite funky! A little different from your usual Chinese buffet decor. Made me wonder if they left some things up on the ceiling that were there before them. It was super cool. Had more of a family vibe, with a trendy twist. It would be a cool casual date night place, or run after working up an appetite shopping at Ollie's, next door. They had some tables that looked private, with the right person could make it Romantic. My BF surprised me with it, and I felt our booth was private, and had a little of that low cost romantic swoon. Haha!! And I'm old! They do not have as much as other Chinese buffets I've been too, but what they do have is so much more fresh and delicious, it makes finding the good stuff fast. Also, don't let that comment fool you. They have all the good stuff, that buffets are made for. They had frog legs, which I haven't seen since I left Chinatown in DC. They were also delicious, steamed clams, Hibachi chicken, chicken and pork on skewers, that were juicy and tasty. Many of the usual staples, egg rolls, dumplings. Ooh side note their dumplings tasted homemade, not doughy or thick. I took pictures of our plates, but it is hard to decipher what everything is, because we piled up. The service was quick and impeccable. She asked what we wanted to drink while bringing us to our seat. Something I appreciated, due to us not having much time. We were able to head straight for it. It's worth it just for their chicken wings. Since everyone else is charging ridiculous prices for wings. Ooo wait that reminds me, they have blue cheese dressing. Which has been an ongoing complaint of mine with Chinese buffets. Now of course this is not fine dining, it's a buffet, of course you are going to have things you do not like. But when it comes to buffets, I just focus on what I do like. Great family place, they are less expensive than most other places too. They also do have take out. But it was 12.99 for lunch and 15.99 for dinner during the week, and so think weekends are a 1.00 or 2.00 more for dinner. I didn't get a chance to see the kids prices. But there is a lot there for kids. French fries, chicken tenders. Their salad bar was really fresh. All condiments were available, clean, and full. They also had it all, including non Asian condiments, like American Salad dressings , hot sauce, ketchup. We were able to check out as quickly as we checked in. Just go and treat yourself the next day you're running around crazy, and take a quick break there. The staff was busy the entire time, even though the restaurant was not so busy. They were cleaning, refilling, assisting kids, families, us. They all just kept finding things to do. No one sitting around gabbing while you are trying to get their attention. They really do cater to their customers.

The owner then made my bf feel stupid for asking. This has never happened before to us. We didn't receive a receipt. Possibly it was that we were at a table of 8, however there was no notification of automatic gratuity or anything either.
