Definitely a take out place that provides friendly fast service. Food is well prepared and consistent. Good size portions that never disappoint. I recommend the shrimp,or chicken garlic or with broccoli. The sesame chicken is also excellent. I rate it at the top of any Chinese take out. Also, food is always piping hot and fresh. Great value for the money. read more

Consistently delicious Chinese takeout. Clean, fresh, beautifully packed and steaming hot. The Hunan Shrimp had the right amount of heat, but you can always ask for extra hot oil on the side. My dish was full of medium size shrimp and crunchy, perfectly done vegetables. We totally enjoyed our food, as always. read more

The food is always hot and fresh. I got cashew chicken and loved it. The taste was amazing. There was a healthy mix of the veggies, cashews and chicken. The service was awesome and very nice/polite. The decorations of the place were like any ordinary take out Chinese restaurant. It was clean and well kept as well. read more

Food is always good. Everyone has their go to Chinese. General Tao is very good and pork fried rice is too. Service is great and people very friendly, food is always ready in 10 minutes :) read more

After moving to WNY from Long Island, this is one of the two place that has good Chinese food. I live in Corfu now so this one is hands down the best here, but if you're near kenmore, I believe it's Hometaste? That has the BEST dumplings and bean buns. If china king served bigger dumplings AND bean buns , oh my god it would be heaven read more

Food is good and service is fast. General Tso's chicken is always a good bet. Combination platters come with egg roll! read more

The reviews don't lie! I am skeptical on take out places, but this one is like no other! The meals were all fresh and loaded with protein and not too greasy. The Hunan shrimp had a ton of huge shrimp and the perfect spice. The beef and broccoli was loaded with tender beef and perfectly cooked broccoli. The steamed dumplings did not disappoint. I will be back soon! read more

Fast, friendly and Delicious. They have the best Chinese food in the area. Fried rice is on the light side and the steamed dumpling are perfection. The General Tso's chicken has the perfect sauce and if your into regular sweet and sour chicken. That's amazing too read more

Best Chinese food ever! I highly recommend! Always welcoming and clean. Fast and so delicious!

Very fresh and delicious food with friendly and quick service. We have tried many things here but my fav is the general tso - the chicken is crispy and fresh and the sauce has the perfect amount of spice. The combo also comes with rice and an egg roll. Highly recommend! read more

Lunch was very fresh and delicious. Enjoyed the hot and sour soup with egg roll and hubby enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be returning. A+. read more

Obviously not real authentic Chinese food but it's something for our small town. I'm not complaining it's definitely decent but I'd rather have authentic Chinese food if i'm gonna be ordering/eating Chinese food. The service is okay, usually only two to three people working but they are usually nice. Sometimes they can be mean and want you to just leave quick and just get on to the next person. I don't know if they do togo because i've never really tried that. Also lighting isn't really aesthetically pleasing. read more

Excellent Chinese food! Best I have had here anywhere from Amherst, Williamsville, Clarence , East Amherst areas! I lived in the Washington DC Area for 28 years and there are so many excellent Chinese restaurants everywhere. Once I moved back to Buffalo in 2015 , all Chinese Restaurants that I frequented have disappointed until, I discovered Akron China King. It is primarily a take out place, but there are several tables one can also eat in. read more

This is consistently 5 stars. Easy to order online, reasonable prices, and always ready on time.... oh and it's super tasty. I love that smaller portions of items are avaiable. The wonton soup is also top notch. Highly recommend if you need a chinese takeout option in Akron! Would not have thought I would find such a great place in their little downtown area. read more

We eat here, maybe once a month food usually very well done very friendly owners definitely would recommend them. They are the only place in Akron that serves Chinese. read more

Good Chinese Food. Now we know what ACK stands for. Aww. Not really. Trading in his chevy for a cadilac-ack-ack-ack-ack? My favourite dish is the Shrimp Curry and Akron China King makes it very very well. Probably the best thing about this place is that you can get almost anything on the menu as a small order, which is huge, for $5. Not bad at all! To be honest with you I am not that crazy about Chinese food so I haven't tried many.. I usually don't like them - I don't like a lot of the dishes here either but they're definitely not bad. The best one in the area for me hands down is Golden Wok in Amherst (although they have attitude problems), and this one is a distant second. However these guys are infinitely friendlier, and the girl who serves is just adorable and so sweet, endearing, and excellent at customer service. Beware, they sometimes close earlier than scheduled, especially on a quiet night or when the weather is bad. read more

The family that runs this is very kind, polite and friendly. The food is always - and I mean always - done very quickly, usually in 10 minutes. And yes, it always tastes great, hot, fresh. read more

The sesame chicken combo was reasonably priced and tasty, plus the customer service was exceptionally friendly.

I have never had food that has been made to order so fast before! 90% of the time it is done in 15 minutes. And the flavors are delicious. I love the lo mein which doesn't always have a good flavor at other restaurants and how I tend to rate Chinese restaurants. read more

Fast, fresh clean friendly staff we are lucky to have this great place in our small town! Definitely our go to when we don't feel like cooking! read more

While visiting in the area, we decided we wanted Chinese food. We found this little place in downtown Akron and were REALLY PLEASED with how good the food is here. Prices are great, portions are large, service was fast. It's mostly a take-out place, we were the only ones eating at one of the two tables and while we were there a steady stream of people came in to pick up phoned in orders. A definite YES to trying this place! We're full-time RVers, to see more about our travels visit us at www.retired-openroad.us. read more

I'm a finicky eater... especially with Chinese food, but this place is awesome!! My all time favorite: Chicken w/ Garlic Sauce!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No where else do they make this dish as tasty as they do!! Another great one: Moo Shoo Chicken w/ Pancakes (pancakes are the non-flavored rice "tortillas") This is awesome!! But you can't get the small lunch version. But it's HUGE!! You could share this with 3 people!! ...and at the price you pay... it's fantastic!! Didn't care too much for their General Tsaos or Orange Chicken but I did see others from work order it a lot. (For GREAT General Tsaos go to the Golden Wok in Amherst!!!) Also.... the wait is minimal!!! You can get your food in 5 minutes or call ahead and it's always super hot & ready to go. :) I'll miss them dearly now that I've moved so far! :( read more

Some of the better take out Chinese food in the area. I've tried many of the dishes and all are prepared well and are quite tasty.

My wife and I ordered vegetable lo mein and general two chicken. This was our first time at China King. Vegetable lo mein had plenty of veggies and she enjoyed and thought it was some of the best she ever had. I had the general to chicken and it was at least as good as I ever had. read more

Ordered here a few times, place is dirty and the food taste like fumes from the gas stove they use to cook on. Never went back.

Yum! Good food, I think I'll try a couple different things next time but we will be returning!
