Two orange chickens, a General Tso's, and a sesame chicken. Can you tell which one is which?
    Honey S.

Our driver complained about having to wait for us to come to the gate for delivery on a military base, even though we disclosed that up front. Then it turned out they gave all four of us the same order when we had asked for two orange chickens, a general tso's, and a sesame chicken. Ok, credit where credit is due, they did put sesame seeds on the sesame chicken. They just didn't bother to match the sauce with the entree.

Our family of five was seated upstairs by the window, and the sunset waterfront view was absolutely gorgeous--it made the entire evening feel extra special. The teenagers and their dad ordered an impressive amount of sushi, and every roll was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The rest of our entrées were just as excellent, with generous portions and great flavors. Everything we ordered was well prepared and arrived promptly. The atmosphere really stood out, too. Between the beautiful setting, attentive service, and stunning view of the harbor, it was an experience we all enjoyed. If you're visiting National Harbor and looking for a great place for sushi or an excellent meal with a view, Grace's Mandarin is definitely worth a visit!

We ordered light- the Hawaiian Chicken and the Harbor Fried Rice. The chicken was cooked perfectly and although not authentic Hawaiian, was a really good sautéed chicken dish. My wife wanted it and loved it. The Harbor fried rice was amazing. Maybe only Din Tai Fung is better. But this was great. We were in and out quickly, the team worked together and the food was really good. Good Chinese option in the Gaylord area.

We came here for an early lunch, and we ordered: +Crab Rangoon - triangular-shaped, generously filled with the cream cheese/crab mixture; could have been a bit more crispy, as it was slightly chewy; the sweet & sour dipping sauce was a great complement +Chow Fun - we opted for the beef as a protein; the noodles were extremely wide, which was great; you can kick it up with chili oil and soy sauce; beef were plentiful +Mongolian Beef - lots of onions and scallions, this had a good flavor; you can add more of a saltiness to it with soy sauce This is definitely a family-run and -operated eatery, as the youngest son was taking orders and manning the register; all orders were made-to-order, so what you will be receiving will be super fresh! The owners were very kind, friendly, and attentive! There were a couple of tables inside, so we chose to dine in. Everything tasted fresh, not at all salty, and prepared with care and love. I'd love to try out their lunch specials and other chef specialty entrees on the next visit. This is a family-run restaurant and it was great to see that they had their very young son manning the counter and the cash register in a totally professional way. The menu is straight-forward with the usual and expected dishes. One dish I did not expect to see, but did, were hush puppies! Everything we ordered for takeout was excellent. Portions are generous and inexpensive. Note: there are two tables in the restaurant if you prefer to dine in. We ordered egg drop soup, crispy pork wontons, Mongolian Chicken and Mongolian Beef. The egg drop soup was better than your typical egg drop soup, with a flavorful broth and silky but still hearty texture. The wontons were packed with pork and came with a tasty bright red dipping sauce that complimented the wontons nicely. The Mongolian Beef and Mongolian Chicken are the same dish, with the only difference being the meat. These dishes were very well prepared with just the right amount of onion, scallion and sauce. The beef had a delicious slightly smoky flavor and was cut into nicely shaped pieces. The Mongolian dishes automatically come with white rice. Speaking of the rice, it had a great texture and just the right amount of moisture. Take out orders may take up to a half hour for them to be prepared, but it is well worth the wait. We will be back.

I asked about their flavored lemonades and was offered a sample of the blueberry, strawberry, and peach flavors. They are all tasty but the peach is BOMB. Second time calling in for pick up the lady was very noce over the phone and confirmed the address. Then then called back to let me know the food was ready. Im talking about egg rolls with that 1993 flavor profile (you are old if you sang along) I'm full. lol. I saw the reviews and felt tempted to try it. So glad I did. The egg roll had flavor - no grease! Balanced amount of veggies and meat inside. Arrived (ordered delivery) crispy and hot. This is rare these days. At most spots they are flavorless and greasy with a bunch of cabbage so its worthy of note - NOT HERE. We got the Dragon & Phoenix (general tso chicken and chili garlic shrimp) - yummy! Deveined medium size shrimp and an abundance of chicken. Only criticism is there wasn't a bit of spice. Im a girl who can appreciate a tickle (from spice) The mister got the beef in black bean sauce combo (w. fried rice and egg roll). Yes, I fought him for the egg roll. The beef was flavorful! You got the savory earthy notes from black bean sauce (that you normally only get in restaurants) at the carry out. Im getting that one next time. Plenty of fried rice (tho it only comes with egg and onion - no peas and carrots) to share. May be my new carry out spot. Check it out. Back to my kitchen concert.

Toi was well seasoned and slightly crunchy like I like it. It's sauce was genuine. It gets an "E" for excellent! The soup gets an "E" too. They used a chicken stock, not broth. Cooks know the difference and I am a cook. The dumplings were fried well, brown on one side and the pork filling was delicious. The pork fried frice was delicious. The rice was properly cooked with onions, bean sprouts, and fried egg. They made it the original way, no short cuts. The scallion patties were new to me. It was a little greasy and could have used a little seasoning. I heated them in the microwave on a paper towel and seasoned them with a little salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. Then it was really good! I will make this restaurant my favorite Asian restaurant for now on because their flavor meets my own
