Fast friendly neighborhood Panda bowl enjoyed by locals in Santa Ana. A whole lotta Chinese food for under $15. Sweet salty garlicky and delicious dishes to satisfy that urge for good old MSG and old school Chinese cuisine enjoyed by the Latino community here. Always fresh and full of flavors because they gotzzz the right spices and Amazing chefs to make everything fresh to order. Just the way you like Baby. Much Love and Respect. Come back soon and enjoy again and again.

This was my go-to Chinese place growing up and I haven't been here in years. Honestly not much has changed, food is good-very solid Chinese food. Service is fast and served cafeteria style. The servings are definitely big enough to share, I think I got 3 meals out of this. The only complaint is that their veggie egg rolls are 100% cabbage.

This place is my top Chinese food stop in OC. I have been coming here for years and have never been dissapointed. I always get the Chow mein and orange chicken with an order of egg rolls that always come out crisp and crunchy. Their hot sauce is also top tier. Their service is quick and they hook your plate up and fill it to the max! I love that they have a drive thru because it is so convenient to go through when I have my pup. When I do stand in line inside, it goes quickly and they equally pack your plate. I definitely recommend coming here.

So delicious and affordable! Love that there is a drive through for convenience and the workers are friendly and generous. I love getting their two entree plate with chow mein, Sesame Chicken, and Orange Chicken. It genuinely is enough to eat for three meals! The Orange Chicken is flavorful, crunchy, sweet, sour, and also tender! The Sesame Chicken is a nice sweet and salty, the breading is a nice thick crunchiness that pairs so well with the noodles. I recommend also getting the cream cheese wontons they are so delicious! This place is honestly a hidden gem and is some of the best cheap Chinese takeout I've had!

I come here often for quick, easy Chinese take-out. The ladies here hardly smile (unlike another Chinese place I frequent ), but the food is everything you expect in a Chinese take-out, a level higher than the others in town. A large a-la carte order (very packed and full square 7.5" x 7.5" white styrofoam container) of their yummy Orange Chicken and Black Pepper Beef is $11.99; chowmein of the same size is $8.99. Can't trust them with drive thru as they all seem indifferent and wouldn't really care about any complaints of missing food, so I take time to park-there's a lot of spaces available. Can't care much for the chow mein, it's only good with soy sauce (my partner loves it though :D ) but the other two dishes are good and worth coming back for.

So far this is my favorite spot. To me, the quality of food is better than other places I have tried before. I always stop by this place every time I'm in the area. Great customer service. All of the staffs are very friendly and helpful. I am surprised that this place still served a great portion during this time. Majority of other restaurants have either reduced the quantity and or increased the prices. Love the food here. I have been eating at this place for approximately 20 years. My family and I definitely refer to this place every time we are in the area.

This place was just ehh. Food was delivered hot and like other reviews state they pack it with A LOT of food. They did forget to pack my cream cheese wontons though:( Orange chicken- 2/5 The outside breading was mushy unlike other Chinese spots with slightly crispy orange chicken. There were a few pieces of chicken that tasted funny. One of the pieces was pure fat and the other just had a funky taste. After that I stopped eating. Chow mein- 3/5 wasn't the worst but wasn't the best. The noodles kind of tasted like burnt oil. The food looks better than it tasted.

Panda Bowl has been my go-to spot for Chinese take-out & I have been a loyal customer since I can remember. When you step inside the shop, you can already smell the delicious aroma of batches of fresh chow mien & various items being made: kung pao chicken, broccoli beef, & teriyaki chicken, just to name a few. The chow mien here is unique. My person favorite is chow mien with Kung pao chicken & teriyaki chicken. Workers here scoop generous portions, so you will leave feeling satisfied! Panda Bowl is quality you can taste. One of the best places for Chinese food!

For under 9 bucks you can get a pretty satisfying meal here. The two item combo is definitely the way to go.

Whenever I'm in Garden Grove, Korean and Vietnamese cuisine will always take precedence. However,…read moremy most recent trip pivoted from the norm, and Noodle Star became the destination. The end result? Reasonable prices, warm service, and very tasty food. Like so many Chinese restaurants, the name and theme is inherently confusing. Up until last year, the place was Harbor Garden and it's rebranded to Noodle Star ever since. The Chinese name ("川粵" aka "Chuan Yue") would imply there is a Sichuan + Cantonese component to the offerings, despite the words "teppanyaki" and handmade noodles (手工麵) noted on the exterior as well as on signs on the interior. Typically any restaurant that dabbles in multiple regional Chinese variations (Sichuan, Cantonese, Shanghainese, Lanzhou, etc.) is a huge flight risk. Surprisingly, it all worked out. All of my orders were from different regions of the country, starting with a Cantonese beef chow fun (乾炒牛河) that was delightfully smokey from the wok hei (#1) and the noodles and beef were silky and smooth. While the noodles aren't as wide as I would have liked, they were still 100% workable in the dish. The Taiwanese style popcorn chicken (鹽酥雞) was wonderfully fried and the chicken was still juicy on the inside. Their napa cabbage + shrimp + pork steamed dumplings (白菜豬肉蝦水餃) were pillowy soft and steamed perfectly. They were plump and not too doughy; which is very appropo for a northern Chinese dish. The biggest surprise may have come from the soup dumplings (小籠包), which had just the right amount of soup and a very delicate dumpling skin that was downright excellent. The service was kind, attentive, and very bilingual with Mandarin and English. Prices might feel high to non-Cali folks, but the spectrum is very much on the Socal average. (#2). Bathrooms were mostly clean and the seating options were plentiful; solid for large and small group action. Parking can be tough on the weekends since it's a strip mall. I already know that I'll be back. If I was able to order 4 regions and they all came out excellent (#3), I can only imagine how excellent the rest of the house special group of dishes will be. __________ (#1) "Essence of the wok" -- it's a thing. (#2) At $15-19 for most dishes. (#3) Did we get lucky?

Overall: good food, fresh ingredients, and great flavors. Definitely coming back to try more dishes!

The food comes out quick and it may not be a Michelin star worthy food but it's definitely a comfort food for a lot of people. Their black bean noodles are a staple but I also recommend the spicy shrimp, sweet n sour pork, and sizzling rice soup. Their jjambbong (spicy seafood noodle soup) is just ok.. Service is great because I think the servers recognize my family but speaking Korean also helps. Unfortunately, I have witnessed some of the servers being kind of rude to other patrons. The servers are just always in a rush. But I always find myself going back whenever we have a big group. Don't expect a nice, clean, modern ambiance. The carpets old, decor is questionable, and sometimes there's a weird smell. But I will continue to go here.
