Pro tip: Don't wear white like me because I walked away with 1000 stains / oil splashes on my top and jacket. For only $13.99, the noodles here are a great deal. I can finish a whole bowl on my own. The order doesn't come with much meat or vegetables but they're vegetarian friendly. Ordering was very easy with the QR code. Service is fast and friendly. There's one gender neutral restroom.

The rougamou was extremely greasy, like dripping into its own pool of oils. The cold noodles were mid but the texture definitely improved when I reheated them. We got two combo b for $21 total. I had fried rice with noodles, broccoli beef, and bbq pork! It was very delicious and flavorful. My boyfriend also got the fried rice and noodles with orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki chicken came out as we were ordering and looked really good and I had a piece, tasted good as well!!

The lamb skewers were juicy and perfectly seasoned with cumin, and the grilled beef tendon skewers had an amazing crispy, chewy texture. The soup dumplings were full of flavorful broth, and the braised beef knife-cut noodles were chewy with large, tender chunks of beef. We also tried the beef paomo for the first time--it was warm, comforting, and packed with rich flavor. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and after chatting with the staff we learned the owner is from Xi'an, which explains how authentic everything tasted. If you're craving Northwestern Chinese food in Irvine, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

This spot used to have amazing fresh, delicious food and compostable tableware. Now there are ceramic plates which appeared scratched and dirty, all the food came in different plates/bowls, beverage fountain doesn't work, and worst of all, food was not good. We all ordered things we always do that we love and everything was a miss. My fried rice was SO dry with just a few tofu pieces. I added so much hot sauce, chili, and soy sauce and it still wasn't good. Cucumber salad was completely different and actually off putting. No one said their food was good which is the exact opposite of all of our other experiences. To top it off, everyone felt sort of sick after because of the amount of salt in the food. Staff were doing their best but everything seemed unorganized and we had to constantly ask for things that were missing. Heartbreak.

I got the classic Roodle and as soon as I put all the ingredients into the broth, they swung by and collected empty dishes immediately. The portion was large and ingredients fresh. I enjoyed the variety and the amount of rice noodle. The broth was salty and refreshing. They have some side sauces to adjust the flavor, but I found myself not needing it. The dish reminded me of a form of hot pot but a soup version. Loved it! I highly recommend and will be returning!

I ordered their most popular dish, the A1 set, but honestly, it didn't really live up to the hype for me. The broth tasted pretty underseasoned overall. From what I understood, you're supposed to mix all the toppings into the soup with the noodles, but even after doing that, I still felt like the flavor was lacking. Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not. Nothing really stood out to me enough to return, and it felt more like a one-time experience. Overall, everything was just okay.

My 2nd visit I went with the Fried noodle dish, he made it with chicken and shrimp and it was amazing. Service is great and they kind of work the floor like a team and keep all the tables happy. Our 1st waiter knew a little Tagalog and playfully attempted to use it. He was really funny. Both times we took food home and had plenty of leftovers. Turns out, it wasn't nearly as crowded as before - though spoiler: the price has increased a lot (I want to say it was $25/lb 10 years ago, and now is $37/lb). Keep in mind too, you can't get a small amount like 1lb - usually it's gonna be 3+lb so your bill is easily going to hit mid-$100 to $200s from the lobster alone. That being said, many people swear this is the best, and that's why they can charge whatever they want. I'm actually allergic to lobster (lol) but am a team player so I just sampled it for the funsies, and had to get another dish to actually eat (went with the beef lok luk). My family said the lobster noodle was good, but not like, fantastic (which we were expecting not fantastic but yeah, mostly came here to a family meeting.) The beef lok luk was also pretty good like, 4.3 of 5 - we just had another version at Paradise which was astounding (like 4.6) though also more expensive and pretty far away. Overall, not sure if we'll come back again as we're more curious about the copycats that have popped up which might be 80% as good and much more affordable. Stay tuned! :)

Green beans are flavorful and crispy as well! Hot and sour soup is HUGE. Good customer service in spite of mistakes goes a long way. The atmosphere is casual, and low playing 80's rock echoed throughout the dining area. The restaurant had a relatively small dining room which wasn't overly crowded at 6pm-ish on a Friday night. The bar counter hosted a couple guests as well. The honey walnut shrimp was arguably my favorite meat, while the house chow mein was my favorite side. The restaurant provided complimentary fried wonton crisps complimented by sweet and sour dipping sauce. This was the perfect starter prior to our food coming out. Not too thick, great flavor and nice and hot! Some large egg rolls were included. A little oily for my taste but again, Irene liked hers. You can ask for some S&S/mustard dipping sauce. A slightly different take on how they prepared the mustard. The sweet and sour was decent breaded chicken with good homemade sauce, chopped onions and peppers. No pineapple darn it. My Kung Pao could have been called Kung zucchini! That was okay as the portion was huge and I shared some. Plenty of peanuts too (I wished they had been cooked inside the wok..). More than enough fried rice (we took some home. I always ask myself would we come back? A resounding yes as I have to try their egg foo young! What I liked about their menu was that they offer smaller plates if you want to order individually, and also offer family size plates for sharing. We of course opted for the bigger plates. We ordered orange chicken, chow mein, white rice, broccoli and beef, and pad thai. I want to start off by saying I'm typically picky with my orange chicken.
